When the EPL games are on, the whole bar is locked in and the vibe is awesome. The food is pretty standard bar food, like fries, the usual stuff. Nothing crazy but it definitely gets the job done while you're having a few drinks and watching the match. The real highlight here is the soccer atmosphere. If you're a soccer fan looking for a chill place to watch Premier League games with a crowd that actually cares about the match, this spot is perfect. Good drinks, big screen, and great energy during the games

Despite being pretty busy, bartender Aaron did a great job of pouring drinks, ordering and serving food, and still making good conversation when he had a moment to spare. And even with the TV's loudly playing the match, the dark wood and comfortable stools created a relaxing atmosphere to combat the hectic traffic along Ventura Blvd. I decided to have their Grilled Cheese with Irish Bacon, which also comes with your choice of tomato or onion; I chose grilled onions. The bread was buttery and lightly grilled to an enjoyable crisp, while the cheddar was properly melted (something that often doesn't happen). Thick-cut Irish Bacon was nicely cooked without being tough, and the sweetness of the grilled onions proved to be a welcome foil for the saltiness of the cheese and bacon. With the onions and Irish bacon, this is a far more substantial sandwich than your average grilled cheese, and I had a touch of trouble finishing -- especially given the well-done & crispy fries that came on the side. But as this meal is about the same price as other places, you're definitely getting much more bang for your buck here, and the food is higher quality to boot. I've always liked Fox & Hounds, and it's nice to know their food and staff have remained top notch as the years have passed. If you've never been, it's most definitely worth a try -- and if you haven't been in a while, it's time to go back for a very satisfying pub experience.

I did see a parking structure across the way, but unsure how much or if its a public parking structure. They have an outdoor patio with plenty of heating lamps if its a cold night as well as an indoor area. Their seasonal items are indicated in a blue font on the menu. Their CO2 stopped working for their fountain drinks, so I chose water. You order first, get a number, find a table, then the food comes to you. Water is self serve as well as the utensils and plates. Majority of the tables had plates already set up on the table. Food ordered: spaghetti with chicken meatballs, garlic knots, brussel sprouts, and a kids pizza. Kids pizza was a decent size, diameter was about 8 inches, light crust, had enough sauce to cheese ratio. Brussel sprouts were delicious and had a nice crisp to it. Garlic knots were gigantic, but I wished there was more sauce that came with it. The portion of the spaghetti is enough for a really hungry person, but if you decide to grab a few other items, its enough to share with another friend. Also, the meatballs were huge! The table we chose wasnt cleaned very well. The plates that we sat at had parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. I didnt say anything to the service staff, but no one didnt come check on us if we needed anything throughout our stay there.

From the very first phone call to the end of the party, Max and his team were on top of it and locked in on providing the best possible experience. They were quick with communication, great with ideas and "run of show" for the party, and when it came to the actual event??? BLEW US ALL AWAY. DJ Facey and MC MAXX kept these eleven year olds on the dance floor the whole night. ALL OF THEM. They are so tuned in to the fabric of the event, the vibe, and can anticipate and read the room so well. Kids were smiling ear to ear and called it the best night of their lives. Amplified made every single person feel special and seen, including the parents. The night was SO FUN and also so heartfelt. Cannot wait to party with Amplified again.

The planning call was FUN to brainstorm, but also efficient in covering all the bases from music to the entrances, speeches - ticks to every box on the checklist. There were so many SURPRISES that we didn't expect from - a Backstreet Boys singalong, to one of our guests lip-synching to Bon Jovi - and they made it all happen like magic. We had the BEST time. Highly recommend! (If I could upload video, I totally would!)

How awesome! It does get a bit rowdy (in a not awful way!) during game time and it's definitely a vibe. I thought they'd be plain burgers - nope! They have different ones! A Texas burger with bbq sauce, a few others and I got the garlic burger with parmesan fries. Yum!

As noted below, we knew they were busy and expected delays, but other servers were moving and ours wasn't. I will give them another shot and so should you. If you go there on a busy day and don't get served in a timely fashion, go and tell them. You shouldn't have to, but sometimes you must. Thank you Jason. Here on a busy World Cup game day, so we can expect delays. But it was much worse than that. Ordered appetizers that were warm on the outside and cold as ice inside. Our server completely ignored us and instead asked multiple other tables how they were doing. Only came by once an hour and then it was due to me asking another server to help. Will not be coming back, service was lousy and you got the tip you deserved. Oh, and it wasn't so much about them being busy as many other servers were hustling and making sure customers were ok. It just happens that our server was useless. There is no excuse.

This review is not going to be my greatest (I kept those, so this one is gonna look like shit). These days, I'm going out more. Meeting new people. Doing new things. And keeping my eye out on what has started to prove itself to be a horrible, horrible dating scene. Masochism is fun! One such adventure took me to The Oaks Tavern, a fun dive bar up in Sherman Oaks with the worst parking situation ever (but unfortunately for all you looking for a way out - still worth going). More specifically, it took me here for a trivia night - Charlie's Trivia Night, Wednesdays from 7:30p - 9:30p. They have a few of them, but I came here for this one. The drinks were dive worthy, and the pizza was, too. It's a fucking dive bar. ENJOY IT. If you want a fancy cocktail go to the arts district you asshole. Personally the combo pizza helped silence my growling stomach, because the brain power I have to use to get half the answers correct is cause for a bite or 20. It's all nostalgic. Nostalgia for a fun, easy, unpretentious evening where you don't feel like you have to wear makeup because doing a double wash with an oil based cleanser and then a cream based cleanser feels like a lot at the end of the night. All in all, I think I'd like to come back sometime. Oh yeah and the trivia was pretty cool. Charlie, is it? Is he single? Asking for a friend who is a bit of a masochist...
