Being a regular and the fox and hounds feels like all my Cheers dreams coming true. From the friends we've made at karaoke, to the food that's always delicious and exactly what we need, to Tyler the probably telepathic bartender who always has our drinks ready before we even ask. It feels like home if my house was a cozy pub/restaurant with a legendary Karaoke scene. Thank you Tyler, Michael, Summer, Bryce and John for always taking care of us, and especially to Tyler for always putting up with us. And if you're heading to The Fox for the first time, try the fries with curry sauce and tip your bartenders!!

Stopped by for a classic Fish and Chips, but swapped the chips for steamed veggies to keep things on the lighter side. The fish had a nice golden crunch and the batter was on point texture-wise, but it just didn't bring much flavor. A little more seasoning would've gone a long way. Tartar sauce was okay--could've used a creamier, more herbaceous kick to really complement the fish. The steamed veggies were simple but fine, and the side salad with ranch was surprisingly fresh and full of vibrant greens, which I appreciated. Portion-wise, I wish the two pieces of fish were a bit bigger and more flavorful, but overall, it was a decent meal in a cozy pub atmosphere. Solid 4 stars.

Fish n Chips. I ate half it lol. It was soooo good! With yummy mushy peas.

I love the fish and chips! By far the best ones I've had in LA. It was cooked perfectly. Service was fantastic! She was amazing and I hope to see her again, next time I'm here. It's a real chill vibe. Good for friends or dates. Though it can get loud.

After a great hike at a Griffith park my darling took me to one of his favorite spots . First time coming here for some fish n chips and an ice cold Guinness! Very impressed ! The Alaskan Cod battered fish was AMAZING and fresh to order. Side salad was fresh mixed greens, cucumbers, diced celery, cherry tomatoes and bell pepper strips was delightful and refreshing. The Guinness was ice cold. Looking forward to coming back soon. The bartenders were friendly and polite and cleared our table immediately! Great service . The ambience was inviting and many tvs to watch sports !

This place is as good as it gets. English style pub with a great menu and great pub like atmosphere. Guinness line is clean and cold, flowing like a fine wine to be honest. Servers and bartenders are all great people!! Go to the Hound for a good time!

Came here to catch a game for the Euro Cup. Found street parking pretty easily as game was early. Bug line to get in but more then enough space to accommodate everyone. $5 cover which I found odd, but whatever, got in and found ample seating. Had picnic tables / shared seating in back but lots of TVs and service to get you beer and food. Wanted to try a full monty but no substitutions on gameday so just went with fish and chips and some beer. Food was pretty standard fare and beer cold and on point. Staff were friendly and would happliy come back for another game and atmosphere. Worth a look if you re in the area

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!

The brick barrel vaulted ceiling that runs the length of the restaurant really adds to the ambiance of this place. Out of the seven dishes, only two were not as flavorful as expected. Must tries: Quail Deviled Eggs with Ahi Tuna and Dill are amazing!! Hamachi with sprouted broccoli, tempura, ponzu, shiso aioli, Black Sesame Seeds Charred Brussels Sprouts with almonds, grapes, and Pecorino Romano. Lamb chops with Aji Amarillo, rosemary, and yogurt. These were the most tender lamb chops I have ever had. And that often overly-lamb flavor was not there. And do not pass up on the Charred Skirt Steak with yuca, chile de árbol, and aji mojo. Day 1 We were in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Wizarding village of Hogsmeade and saw Three Broomsticks. We walked in and the restaurant is so cool. It has the Exterior and Interior decor from the films. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very crowded in there so we had to search for a place to sit. Luckily we found a place that seated the four of us. My husband placed our order through the app and then was notified when the food was ready. It took awhile but we eventually got our food after about a 20 minute wait. Three of us ordered the rib meal. Which came with ribs, corn on the cob, and potatoes. The ribs were delicious. They were tender and fell of of the bone. The corn was semi sweet and the potatoes were flavored well. It was very filling and a very good meal for it being at a theme park. My sons both ordered Frozen Butterbeers and they enjoyed drinking them. I tried the Butterbeer but it was a little too sweet for me. Unfortunately on this specific day we were told that they ran out of the fish and chips so my other son grabbed something else and ate with us. Day 2 This day the restaurant wasn't as crowded and we easily found a place to sit. We went through the same process. My husband ordered the food on the app and was notified when it was ready. My son finally got his fish and chips and was very happy. He enjoyed his meal and said that the fish was pretty good. This time around he chose to get a Butterbeer Popsicle with his meal and he enjoyed it. Overall Three Broomsticks is in a really cool part of Universal Studios. I liked the atmosphere inside and outside of the restaurant as it felt immersive. The restaurant was a good size but it could be crowded with limited seating depending on the day and time that you go. They mainly serve British cuisine, and I duck in here to check the line whenever the outside butterbeer vendors are too packed. The theming is reminiscent of its Harry Potter counterpart - a bit dingy, dark, and pub-like. Because of the less kid-friendly theme and nondescript exterior, it's more relaxing and chill in here. After lining up, you're directed to an order terminal, and then you pick up your order when ready at the pick-up windows near the ordering counters. You can also purchase souvenir mugs (steins) here. If you come as a family, the great feast is a solid idea to get. Otherwise, the individual meals are generally a meat with some form of potato. There's also a decent selection of sweet treats, and especially butterbeer options! Personally, I prefer cold butterbeer because it's fizzy. It tastes like very fancy cream soda with a whipped foam on top. I don't like sweet things, but I enjoy having a butterbeer in Hogsmeade. We tried the mead here, which I thought was just okay and generic. The seasonal butterbeer cream puff was surprisingly flavorful with sweet caramel notes and a good cracked cream puff texture topped with airy whipped cream and crunchy white chocolate balls. If you have to eat at Universal Studios, Three Broomsticks is one of the top choices if you want something satisfying. If you value theme, though, I suppose you'd go elsewhere.
