This place is totally a scam . Oh on there sign it says $50 something dollars for oil change when I went there he said the oil change are $100 total I ended up paying $150. He told me he charged for labor I knew it they were scamming. I just needed my vehicle to get oil changed because it was on a late Friday . And I was leaving out of town.... I wish I could give zero star to this crook!! May 13th I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change as I've done many times before. But this particular time I'm not sure if he was high or what but he failed to replace my oil cap back on my engine. So after driving for roughly 3 days with no oil cap, I have oil everywhere. As a mechanic, I expect this idiot to know to put the cap back on the engine after doing a freaking oil change. Oil can get into internal crevices causing more damage and more money. He barely speaks English but is always getting fresh asked me do I have a husband all the time, Being a complete creep. I would never be interested if you were the last thing on earth. He protrays himself as someone who knows what he's talking about but don't be folded, HE DOES NOT. Needless to say, on this day, I had to pull over somewhere to find an auto zone to get a cap from and get the oil cleaned up from my engine. Im calling the BBB THIS FOOL SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!! The Old guy was mean. Bad communication. He was in a rush. I asked to reschedule another appointment he got mad. He didn't put my oil filter properly and caused my car to leak and he was blaming my car saying sensor and all the bull crap. I opened the hood and the filter was sitting on the oil hose. He didn't apologize or do anything about it he kept blaming my car had problems. I asked how many years has he been a mechanic he said 17 years. With that experience in mechanic work you won't forget to put the filter on. Never! Don't ever go to this shop. This has been long coming and someone needs to speak up, so I will... The only real reason I haven't updated my review is because service for Verizon doesn't work here and you were lucky then, but not anymore. I've been a Triz customer for years and let me tell you how much I hate this place now. The guy, son of the owner, whoever he is, is a complete ass... I'm not the type of person to dislike someone but man... this guy made me and my fiancé feel incompetent in our visit(S). Notice I said visits??? Also they're strategy now to selling service is almost like they work in commission.. I've seen and know when I am trying to be milked for my money with false "color" of my car fluids... what a joke. Before all these Triz was perfect, owed and ran by the original owner. Who is by the way a really cool guy, but now Triz lives a sour thought in our minds. Unbelievably Horrible Service!!! Please Do not go here!!!, especially if you are a single woman. Reason: On 4/27/22, my son and I pulled into Triz Automotive and asked if they could do an oil change on my van. The gentleman said yes for $69.00. He then asked for my ID (which I thought was weird), and went in his office area. He came back out, asked about mileage. I told him it was 182+, he look at my dash and told me to pop the hood. Once he looked at the engine he said you need the dipstick removed, and to have a flush due to miles which would be good for the car, and the total service would be 179 +30 to remove the dipstick. I said okay, I asked how long he said 30 minutes top. I came back in 30 minutes to see water ever where and he said "I have bad news for you my friend, your radiator blew up!" but it is not my fault and you still need to pay me!!! Unbelievable!!! He said you can not drive your car, but I can fix it for $1500. I was in shock! I had my two small grand kids with me and my son! and this guy just ruined my car and has the nerve to charge me for it. I called AAA, and they call him to see if it is okay for them to pick up my car! Unbelievable! I call my brother and he argues with him and hands me the phone saying he didn't want to talk to him anymore. I had to pay him and drive my broken car next door, fill it with water to make it home. I had it towed to another shop and they charged me $1763.90 to fix it, plus I had to rent a car and it cost me $579.13, so he negligence cost me $2,543.41 to repair the damage to my van. he showed no remorse at all, did not apologize, say sorry, not even let me help you at all. Nothing but here is your bill for services I rendered correctly, it is your fault you did not say your engine light was on (he looked at my dashboard) and the light on had nothing to do with that. I feel so mistreated and under represented in the case. It has taken me this long to get the final numbers and to calm get back on my feet. Never go here. read more

I was referred to them from a friend who said they were the most reliable and honest shop he knows. I got my first opportunity to do business with them about 7 years ago. Auto repair can be expensive, this shop is competitive but realistic. No matter where I go, I look for customer service and this place is ideal. You are not in the shop for more than a few moments when you are greeted nicely, even when they are occupied. If so, they tell you that it will be just be a moment. This shop is great and the guys are always honest and they have great deals on oil change and some times monthly deals. Not once have they tried to up sell us on anything. A friend recommended Triz 3 years ago when my old car was having problems - I went there, had a good experience, I remember being impressed with the customer service, honesty and fast efficient service. It wasn't too expensive and was completed within my work hours. (dropped the car off before work, picked it up on my way home) I have since bought a brand new car and have had no need for a shop, as it is still under warranty. More recently, my grandparents (in their late 80's) were in town from Oregon, their 23 year old Lincoln (in excellent condition) was acting up, so I recommended they bring it in to Triz while I was at work. Pedro and Allen went completely above and beyond, they test drove the car and knew immediately that things were not right. They offered my grandmother a ride home to keep her comfortable and said they would take care of the problem. The kept me in the loop - finding that another shop in OR had done an awful service when it was last brought in - spark plugs were gapped too large, the oil was 2 quarts high, and a number of other issues. They even found a mouse nest in the air filter cavity that they said had to have been there awhile. They performed a complete tune up an just a few hours, and allowed us to take care of payment for my grandmother. The car is now running as good as new and we are all very impressed with the fantastic customer service that we received. I would definitely recommend Triz automotive to anyone in the are looking for an honest mechanic with their customers best interest in mind. read more

Customer service was great when I got my tune up, but when I had found a coupon on their website they said they didn't know about it and he couldnt change what was already plugged in on the computer as I was about to pay. Lame, right? When they recommended I get my timing belt done I thought I should get it checked out elsewhere. Found out the Midas shop right next to it was willing to do my timing belt for $100 less. Unprofessional, rude when you question what they are doing or what they did do, don't understand or speak English well and fucked up my damn car after going back and 4th for 2 months and spending thousands my car still has issues and they don't seem to care. Fixed everything but the issue. Kept telling me I need this and that... Super expensive stuff. Got it all done and then some. I had a leak in my power steering system and brought my car to Triz Automotive. The guy that seems to run the place is named Pedro and Pedro does not understand or speak English very well and as a public speaker myself I feel that I'm very strong in this category! Prior to bringing my car to Triz Automotive I had taken my power steering pump out of my car to check and make sure that it still worked and yes it did so I put it back in but the problem was still there so I brought the car into the nearest automotive repair which happened to be Triz. I was told by Pedro that I screwed it up and it would cost 200 dollars to fix my screw up and he also told me that the leak was coming from the connections that attach to the pump. After they took out the pump and re-connected the fittings that I "screwed up" they realized the leak was coming from a pipe that I had never touched. So in his very broken English Pedro told me that the leak was coming from somewhere else and that the repair would cost me 480 dollars, so I asked him if the total would be 480 and he told me "jes". When I went to pick up my car he charged me the 200 dollars for his screw up and the 480 dollars plus tax for replacing the 120 dollar new pipe. If that was not bad enough when I went to pick my car up my car was parked nose to nose with another car meaning whoever parked it after fixing parked my car or the car in front of my car by the braille system! and if that isn't bad enough today is the day after the repairs and my steering no longer works in my car so they never fixed anything and it still cost me over 700 dollars and a day of work! These guy's are con artists, I took my car in to check some belt noise, and they spent over two hours diagnosing it and couldn't put the belts back on. Once they got them put on they quoted me $600 + tax for a water pump and belt, with a 4 hour labor! I know for a fact that this should not be more than $350. I asked the guy why so much, and he just shrugged saying "it costs this much"... Ridiculous and a bunch of inexperienced "mechanics". They may be fine for the simple jobs like oil change etc, I saw a number of clients come in for that and go. I would be cautious in getting any jobs in excess of $200 form them, get another quote from else where before using them. read more

I didn't have to wait long at all to get an oil change and got there mid afternoon. They were very professional, friendly and efficient. I Was out of there just as fast as I was in. They offer all kinds of service not just oil changes they also use high quality parts. Not too spendy either 40 or so dollars for an oil change.
