Honestly, reminded me of those fries you only find at wing restaurants like Wingstop!

Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

Cons: - Ambience could give it some more improvements Most of the reviewers here think that this place is as unhealthy as it can get. I absolutely disagree. Yes, the main menu here are burgers and fried food, but compared to other deep fried restaurants, you get much more fresh veggies here thanks to the free salad bar. If you are on a diet, you shouldn't be having fried food anyway. The primary reason that I give this place a 5 star is because of the double bacon cheeseburger (Huge pieces of bacon, and fresh veggies). To add to that, the fries were freakin' addictive. Excellent food and even better service! I have had the jalapeno cheeseburger, the veggie burger, chicken fried steak and the mozzarella sticks and everything has been excellent. I am not sure what seasoning they use on the burger and fries, but it's awesome! I love the home made buns and I especially love the way they smell when I open my food up. I also really like how they have a condiment bar where you can fix your burger the way you like it. Finally, the price is very good, especially for being in Downtown Dallas. This place was great. I've tried both the breakfast and the lunch menus, and i liked both. The breakfast sandwich was really good (and big) with a decent price. I think they use the same bun they use on burgers. The soft buns tell me that they bake em fresh everyday, plus i did watch them make the rolls in the morning. pretty cool. For the lunch menu, the burgers and fries are all fantastic, and I really like how they set up the salad bar with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and dressings, so I can fix the burgers the way I like them. read more

The gentleman working behind the counter was moving people through the line quickly and was getting the orders out as quickly as possible. One thing was that some people were given numbers while others weren't which led to cobfusion when picking up orders (I almost grabbed someone else's order as she had the same thing as me but had a number when I didn't). My friend also ordered a customized burger here and was able to get it just how he wanted it which was great. The fries were cooked and seasoned appropriately and the gyro was stuffed to the brim with lamb, lettuce and tomatoes. I was very please with how filling and how tasty my lunch is. I do wish the food court had longer hours but I would eat at HighFive Burger again (and still not get a burger).
