They say it's "better late than never", a week late but still want to share about Valentine's Day…read morehere. First, the fact that my latte kicked the meal off with a Happy Valentine's - so cute. We had a little bit of everything: frittata, loaded waffles, pancakes, chocolate croissant, and potatoes. Everything came out together, warm, and tasty. The waffles were soft and a great balance of flavor and sweet. The whipped cream, I could have eaten a tub of. We arrived at 10:00, without reservations (they only take reservations for parties of five or more), and were promptly seated. When we left there was a bit of a crowd waiting to be seated. Before leaving I popped over to the bakery (where I have been a few times) and grabbed some goodies to take home for later. Love the bakery and all the options available. Great place to have a nice brunch with friends, a date, or just grab some sweets. The staff were great, friendly, and helpful with everything. Stop in and show them some love.

Went in for a few pastries/dessert items. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions. We ordered…read morethe following individual slices: banana chocolate cake, strawberry mousseliine cake and an eclair. The banana chocolate cake wasn't what we were expecting. It had more of a coffee flavor than bananas or chocolate. I'm not a fan of coffee so this item was a disappointment to us, but the other two items were delicious especially the strawberry mousseline cake. I could eat that cake everyday! The eclair had just the right amount of custard inside. I wish I had taken photos of the desserts, but we were so excited to try them that we forgot. There was a huge selection of desserts to pick from there so next time we'll try something else. If you like macaroons, they had one of the largest amount of flavors I've ever seen. We used to go there a lot about ten years ago when we lived closer and would always get the carrot cake. It's always been good too. The place has been redone and gotten a lot bigger since we were last there. You could easily host a small get together there and the ambiance is so cute.

I went inside just because I was curious - I'll be oreorder and drive through next time. Front area was clean with a display counter of pretend cookies and menus. There's a menu board for drink specials; I ordered the seasonal Snowberry, a concoction of water, raspberry, coconut, and vanilla. They offer many soda and water combos. ai recommend looking at menu before you go i ordered 3 cookies, all gluten free: a lemon tart,ca lemon raspberry, and the namesake twisted sugar. The Twisted Sugar is a sugar cookie with a coconut lime frosting. The coconut is likely extract and has a bitter aftertaste. Not my favorite despite loving coconut. The lemon tart was lemony and quite good. My favorite was the lemon with raspberry swirl. Really nice combo of tart and sweet. The cookies themselves aren't overly sweet; the frosting adds the sweet. Fun little stop for a little treat The gals working were very nice and helpful.

The best way to enjoy these cookies is to cut them up and share with a group so you can try different ones. Some of my favorites include peanut butter nutella, raspberry lemon and swizzle sugar. These cookies have the perfect soft texture.

Seriously, Five Stars is not enough for Nathaniel Reid Bakery. I'd give them a 10 Star rating if I…read morecould. The shop is pristine. The display cases are filled with works of art, that taste delicious. The staff is cheerful, friendly and all of them dressed in uniforms gives a feeling of professionalism. I enjoyed a Smoked Ham and Gruyere Croissant and a black coffee in house. I was to have a seat at the counter in their front window and relax while my dogs were at the doggie spa up the street. The croissant was super-super flakey and the smoked ham paired beautifully with the gruyere cheese. I couldn't come to NRB and not take home a couple of sweet treats. My favorite treat was the Raspberry Lemon Financier. It was so good the next morning with my home brewed coffee. Then that evening I enjoyed a Lemon Cake whose name I cannot recall. It exceeded moistness and the strong lemon flavor was just what I like. In addition to my treats, I got a Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie for my fur-babies pet stylist as part of her tip. My only dislike and it's minor, is that they serve Kaldi's Coffee. I'm glad they are supporting another local small business, but I am not a fan of their product. Typically when I know a cafe serves Kaldi's, I pass on the coffee, but I made an exception here.

I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was. The sandwich bread was expertly crafted, soft without being tough, making it easy to chew. The pastries stood out as well, with a rich cheesiness and chocolatey sweetness that felt unique. Service was efficient with multiple staff members assisting customers. The place also has limited window seating available for dining.

I was excited to finally try this place even though I was warned about the baklavas being too dry. Sadly that's true. I dint think they are made fresh. They lack syrupy. I understand they don't have much food traffic but cutting down on the types of baklava and freshly making them should solve that problem. Probably the second worst baklava I've had out here. I see why they make shakes though. Since they don't sell ans have leftover stock. We initially sat down to eat but it was so awkward that there's no music and so quiet. My husband said they don't vacuum between the chairs which were full of crumbs. We eventually got our food to go. The second issue is the food. We got a sucuk flatbread and ans egg pide. This is not a pide, it's just pizza bread. Cheese is mozzarella, should have been beyaz cheese. Middle eastern cuisine doesn't use this cheese. My egg was raw and just throw in a corner. Could have saved myself money by just getting domino's, at least my food would be cooked. If you want quality, try Balkan treat box, Aya Sofia or Garbanzo. I would also like to state that there is one employee that works front and back. I didn't see him washing his hands once going back into the kitchen to handle my food. Seems like there a big hygiene issue
