This was my first time riding Tron Lightcycle Run! It's a relatively short ride (roughly 40 secs-1min), with a max speed of ~60mph. Didn't experience crazy wait time LUCKILY, though we were definitely expecting it haha. It was around a 20-30 min wait, similar waiting time for most of the rides we went on this day. Thought this ride was pretty unique, as there are no seat belts for the motorbike seats but they do have back + leg restraints that are engaged by leaning forward and pulling the handles to hold you in! Found it to be a tame & smooth ride. Towards the end, it felt like something was missing? I think I would've enjoyed it even more if they had added a few more tracks but nonetheless, still a very fun & exhilarating ride!

What an experience! If you are an adrenaline junkie, you will really enjoy this ride. You sit as if you are on a motorcycle. The seat holds you tightly in. For many, it is too tight. Based on your size, when the bar is locked, it can cause pain in your calves as it is too tight. There is no time to tell anyone because the ride starts immediately after. Leaning forward on the bike as you race through the neon lights in the darkness makes for a thrilling ride. However, it is not a good ride for those who experience motion sickness. Be sure to remove anything that may fall out of your pocket and definitely do not wear a hat (if you want to keep it).

Fully immersive theme of tron battle bikes! Theres model bikes near the outdoor start of the lines! Harness lockdown is via a back clamp that comes down to hold you clamped into a motorcycle riding position when you pull the handle bars in! Luckily we were able to get in there fairly quick when we went. Like everyone else we hit space mountain then exited and hit tron up the hill. I thought it was quick and fun you can definitely raise your hands "up" but more like superman than a traditional rollercoaster. There is ada cart as well for those wondering, it looks like a traditional cart rather than a motorcycle! Not too crazy or gut dropping but a very quick 60mph ride with some swirls. Definitely quick and short track. It's over before you know it!

A long long line during the holidays... snaking back and forth and they had only partial cover from sun through the first hour or so of waiting. Worth waiting 2+ hrs for? No, not in my opinion. Get the passes if you can or come on a less busy time. The blasting cycle of music didn't really help it as it repeated and wore you down a lot. The night view was more cool - lighting is impressive. It's a quick ride, and not 100% sure I would ride it again. It's not a bad ride where you lean over and see some of the interesting light cycle design and story to start, but felt like you end on a weird jarring note.. fixing the virus and then... it's done. Could've had one more section to help close it out as a story. Lockers inside were helpful, though, in and out on different sides and can be locked using your ticket card/Disneyband.

This was my first time on Tron. My group had an early start and were in the parking lot 35 mun before park opened, rode the monorail to Magic Kingdom as line was decent, and got in the park 6 min before official opening time. By 9 am we were in line for Tron after a quick walk. It look is about 25 min to get to the front to ride Tron. It was a smoother ride than I was expecting and did not aggravate my sore lower back. I would definitely ride again, especially if wait time is 45 min or less.

It's been 10 years since my last trip to DisneyWorld, and before today, Space Mountain was my favorite ride in Tomorrowland... until I rode Tron. It makes sense why people wait 50-90 mins minimum to ride Tron. The attraction has "players" riding on a motorbike (same seat design as the Avatar Flight of Passage) as lightcycles at a maximum speed of 60 mph with a series of twists and turns. It runs inside and out and provides locker spaces for your tidbits. Unfortunately, the ride is quick and by the time you get to fully enjoy the ride, you're back to where you started.

Super cool ride! It's definitely one of the more exhilarating ones at Disney. The whole setup from the lighting to the launch feels futuristic and immersive. The bike-style seating is such a unique experience; it reminded me a bit of Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal Orlando, but with that signature Disney polish. It's a short ride, but the adrenaline rush makes it worth it. Would absolutely ride again!

Best ride ever at magic kingdom. Won't disappoint and the wait is worth it. Definitely like that the Checkout lockers is open on both sides when we left it's available on the back end. The thrill is almost like space mountain and I barely could see much with the speed going on. One of the highlights of the trip is this ride

One of our families favorite rides in Magic Kingdom! The line moves quickly and the music gets you excited for the ride! It's a fun n ride anytime of day... but if you can ride it at night, well it will be epic! Tron is a fast thrill ride that takes you into the grid and you won't want to leave! Biggest challenge is you'll need to have your physical or mobile ticket or your magic band to get a locker for all your stuff before you ride. Then remember your number.

Hands down the fastest ride I've ever experienced at Magic Kingdom. Tron Lightcycle Run is like riding a motorcycle and not seated upright so the user really feels that 60 mph rush! Parts of the ride take you backwards but not upside down. Fans of the film will appreciate the visual and audio effects throughout. This ride currently requires getting into the queue to enter. Took my group under an hour total.

But as a random person, we didn't really have a bad experience. Magic Kingdom is not an amusement park, it's a theme park. Rides are basic, but I think it's so every guest can have the same experience. Easy to stop and go if you need to get on the ride in an untraditional way. Completely overpriced though, which is why my wife and I have been together for 22 years and this was the first time we went to Disney in that time. If we didn't spend more on lightning lane passes, we would not have had a good day. I feel you can do whatever you want here. People cut in line, push past others, talk through all the instructions and rides. Some weird woman just recited the entire Haunted Mansion introduction, because with main character syndrome, she wanted to ruin the experience for everyone else? I feel I enjoy Marvel and Star Wars more than most other properties and I still think Disney has catching up to do with Universal Studios. It's a better world over there. There is a lot of Disney "Magic" though. You have to pay for it, but like Disney, you throw enough money at a problem and it does appear better.

I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

It is a slow moving ride that goes on a flat track and will move your clamshell 365 degrees, as well as going backwards and tipping backwards as well. It does not spin fast and as someone who gets motion sickness, you should be fine. The seat has a lap bar for the entire row and is not comfortable at all. It is a very hard bench. I find this ride becoming more of a favorite probably since it is super cute and the line is never very long. The line can get long at times, but I recommend waiting until the wait drops below 20 minutes. The line starts outside which has little shade and is very hot in the summer, but then moves inside, where the majority of the line is. Inside it is covered and much cooler. It is actually really dark inside and my eyes always have to adjust. This ride is very colorful, very musical and very fun. If you know this movie, you are going through the story quickly. There are a few dark areas throughout the ride as well as a couple of loud parts. This rides also "stops" as well. There is not a time we have been on this that it did not have a stop for a a minute or so. This ride is designed for children, however, as an adult, it is becoming a favorite of mine. It is nice long ride, that you can sit and relax. This is a must go in the summer for us! Cool, AC, sitting down, sign me up! I would recommend this ride but only when the line is 20 minutes or less. Otherwise, wait and come back later.
