So many reasons this will always be BAE! it's right next to the GOOD bathrooms, right next to the cold stations. Eats up so many people at a time that there's never a long wait, and baby when I say it goes I mean it GOES! Now idk if Amanda with the green hair HAD to tap my husband's nuts with the safety bar or if she just enjoyed it. Either way. I'm never letting STARDUST RACER go!

This is one of the shorter wait time attraction rides at Epic Universe. Stardust Racers is a high thrill dual launching rollercoaster located in Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando Florida. It's located in Celestial Park. You'll immediately see it on your right side as your going towards the Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic themed area. The theme of this ride is that you're essentially boarding a comet. On this comet you race through the skies of the themed land called Celestial Park. This coaster has two side by side tracks. The top speeds for this ride is around 62 mph! One of the signature moments is when the two coasters invert and cross over each other mid air. The restraint system is similar to the Jurassic World VelociCoaster located over at Universal Islands of Adventure. It uses lap bars instead of the over the shoulder restraints. There is a height requirement for this ride. The ride supports multiple queue options. There is a single rider line and you can use the Universal Express system for this ride as well! Because of it's dual track design and high capacity, it's one of the more efficient rides inside Epic Universe. There are two tracks, green and yellow and both are completely unique experiences. The green track is slightly more intense. The ride during the evening is beautiful. You get to see the entire park at night with all of the wonderful lights. If you like rollercoasters, I'd recommend trying out the Stardust Racers at Epic Universe during your visit!

Wow! Stardust Racers is one of my favorite rides (second to Velocicoaster in Island of Adventure) that Universal has to offer! It's in Universal's newest park: Epic Universe & this is the perfect coaster for anyone who likes intense, thrilling coasters! There are two separate tracks: yellow + green & we rode on the green track. Apparently, the green track has been said to be more intense, whereas the yellow track is a milder ride. Compared to the Velocicoaster, I would say the Velocicoaster is definitely a smoother ride & less "scary" because of that, at least for me. Stardust Racers goes at a slightly slower speed (62mph vs 70mph) & has only 1 inversion, but is more airtime-heavy! Still, a super fun ride but I think I can only endure riding it once each visit due to how intense it is, as opposed to when I get off Velocicoaster, I want to ride it a couple more times because it's literally such a smooth ride lol.

BEST. RIDE. AT. EPIC. By far!!!! Stardust Racers is an out-of-this-world, high flying adrenaline rush of a roller coaster! If you even slightly enjoy a good roller coaster this is a MUST try. We went in a preview day so they only had one side running- but this is a roller coaster that has 2 separate tracks that run at the same time, reminiscent of the old dueling dragons coaster that used to be in Harry Potter world at Islands of Adventure (IYKYK). I am so happy they brought back a "dueling" type coaster. I can only imagine the fun it'll be once both sides are up and running. Everything about this coaster is truly epic (yes, pun intended). It is high-velocity without being too rough. and giving you whiplash, it goes upside down but in a way that's easier to handle, it has a couple acceleration parts, and all good fun that makes your eyes water, hair get messed up, and leaves a big grin on your face by the end. Seriously, standing in line every time a car came back after riding all the riders were in such high spirits and so happy. When you get into line, bring your backpacks and stuff with you- like the Velocicoaster in Islands of Adventure, they have lockers in the queue that you set your stuff in. And, they used facial recognition so you don't even have to worry about keeping your pass with you. After that, you do have to go through a metal detector as well just as an extra precaution. I have heard that each track of this coaster is slightly different, so it will be so fun to try out both sides, and definitely something you want to keep in mind when coming to ride! You're missing out if you don't become a Stardust Racer!

The park had plenty of places to eat, and the freestyle drink machines were conveniently located all around the park, except in the Harry Potter area. But what about low-key story-based rides for people more on my page of wanting a chiller experience? Seuss landing is adorable (could maybe use a bit of a refresh - the hole land reminds me of the books - fun, nostalgic, meaningful, but a little worn and sticky). And the water rides? Take them away and I will riot! They are currently demolishing The Lost Continent, including Mystic Fountain, which is sort of sad. But I am so excited to see what's next!

I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

Its sole ride, Escape from Gringotts I gave two stars as I found it very lackluster compared to the two Potter themed thrill rides over at Islands of Adventure. But the theming in this section of the park is absolutely phenomenal and highly immersive enough to make this an easy 4 stars. The Knight Bus was fun enough for both my sister and I to get pictures by it with its friendly steward and his appropriate accent. I missed the low key entrance on our first go round. As I said I watched the movies in a cloud of smoke and didn't realize it was this secret fandom entrance/exit but the throngs passing through tipped us off. The greater density with everything packed so tightly together and its separation from the other themed areas of Universal Studios Florida makes this Potter themed area more impressive than its counterpart over at Islands of Adventure- even without a magnificent castle. The alleys, the shops, the hand painted signage, the dragon perched high shooting out that massive flame... I can only imagine how hard this hits if you're a Potter fanatic. And though Escape from Gringotts was pretty weak sauce in my estimation the queue and the theming before the ride experience was top notch. They really broke the bank on this, as with the great train ride in. Maybe if I ever go back I'll watch a Potter movie or two sober.

Sadly the other rides were not part of our day due to the lengthy wait times and in the case of Donkey Kong, so backed up that the single rider line was closed.
