M&S Air conditioning…read more One morning, my Mitsubishi whole-house thermostat displayed a "Replace Me" message. Since Mitsubishi and M&S are affiliated, I decided to go with M&S for the repair, as their parts are covered under a 12-year warranty. When I called "Amanda," their AI receptionist scheduled an "emergency" house call which wasn't for 7 days. Great! I informed her that the issue was the thermostat and requested that she have the technician bring the replacement part. However, the technician arrived at the end of the scheduled period on a Friday afternoon without the part. I rescheduled with "Amanda," but the next scheduled repair never materialized. After I made another call, they informed me that the part was not in stock. On the third appointment, the technician finally arrived at the end scheduled time with the part. He installed it in just 22 minutes, with a labor charge of $418. The technician also broke a fastener reinstalling the cover to the unit and taped it shut. Despite the inconvenience and the fact that M&S is a "Diamond" dealer for Mitsubishi, I will regrettably never use this company again.

His diagnosis of blocked coils and a bad condenser couldn't be further from the truth. He and his company continued to badger my wife for days for the $850 up front. We got a second opinion and it was the mother board on the unit which had caught fire mentioned no where in his report to the insurance company. AND the insurance company covered the repair. I also spoke with other disgruntled customers only to hear the same. These people are shady and need to be looked into for fraud. BEWARE!

I really wanted to like this company. I really did. My A/C…read morewent out over the Fourth of July weekend (of course). Not only did they answer the phone on a Sunday, but scheduled a technician to come out the next day. Awesome! The technician arrived right on schedule, was very pleasant, and determined within seconds of hearing the A/C turn on that it must be the capacitor for the compressor. I've dealt with capacitors a lot in my life as an electrical engineer, so I knew that that should be a cheap fix. Chinese A/C capacitors sell for $25 on Amazon, so even with a small, local company mark-up I was expecting to get away with maybe a hundred bucks, plus the $95 service charge for coming out. To my surprise they charged me $420 for the capacitor, so with the service charge I paid $515 for a capacitor that Amazon sells for $65 (US made, not Chinese). I believe that at this point, the company is taking advantage of customers when they otherwise have to live in 95 degree heat, and I cannot recommend this company at all!
