1 of 2 conch fritters. A good amount of conch, but super oily.

Y'all, let me tell you that this place is the bomb!!!!! The day I purchased conch salad from this location, only moments before I was around the corner purchasing conch from another seafood restaurant. This conch wins! It was authentic, with the different citrus juices and peppers and large pieces of conch. I was in heaven. I ordered the $10 bowl and that was enough for me to have some the next day. If weren't living 3 states away, I would have ordered a jug of the conch salad because it was so good. Now, the location of this place is horrible, but that doesn't change my review. This place is a restaurant slash nail salon, so it was kind of weird, but that didn't stop my from placing my order, plus, the owner/chef was really nice. There aren't really many places to park, so if you come here you need to have a designated driver who can drop you off, circle the block and then come back to pick you up. I also ordered conch fritters from the lady in the food truck, 2 for $5 I think. Those were good too, just super oily, but I think I'd purchase them again.

I found this place (Tropical Conch) by word of mouth through Jackson Hospital employees. I kept seeing these empty white foam cups all over the place. So, I finally ask today, what are these white cups? The nurses all said gurlllll..... (popping the tongue and rolling of the eyes...yeah, just like that. No joke) this place on 12th Ave and 45th sells the best conch salad in all of Miami. I said, word.... so here I am. This place you will easily pass by because it's so unassuming. I've always wondered what is this building. The exterior is painted nice but clearly the building is dated. The Interior when you enter on 12th avenue (the east side) Will blow you away. Its not at all like you would imagine it to be. It is absolutely nice and clean and airy. This place is a 3in1. As it encompass an area where they do taxes, a nail station and an area where this "Miami Best" conch is housed. Yeah.... talking about a hookup. They got it going on. LOL...The prices for the conch salad; are $5, $10 and $20. I ask for the $10 cup. I handed him My $10 and off I went. The Taste. Amazing. Simply amazing. If this doesn't remind me of the Bahamas I don't know what else does. This is absolutely delicious. Extremely fresh, cold and just has a burst of flavors going on. Perfect blend of spices and fresh juices. If ever you're in this area and lover of Bahamian style conch salad, try this place. You won't regret it. Oh and yeah, You can thank me later with a $10 cup. :-) I'm so serious. Tell him Tissy sent you.

A new twist to my favorite dishe, conch salad. This tropical conch salad is so fresh, so tender, so much conch and the juice had a mixture of flavor that I have never had before. It's a blend of bitter lime and sweet tropical, I love it. I also enjoy the Italian ice mixtures that are serve with a slice of pineapple on the side. This is one of my favorite and worry about calories.

From the simple fish empanadas to the whole fried snapper, everything is delicious. Their seafood soup and conch soup are absolute must-try items for me; just writing this makes me crave them. If you order the fried shrimp or fish pieces, make sure to get the sauce as well. It's a great spot for healthy eating or for pescatarians since they only serve seafood. The service is straightforward: you just stand in line to order. While it isn't always packed, there are days with long lines and heavy wait times, but the staff tries to be fast and efficient. As for the ambiance, the restaurant is located in the heart of Allapattah. It features outdoor seating and smells of the sea; it might not look like much, but I guarantee the food is out of this world. You won't find another place like this with such fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I will recommend this to my children and grandchildren, and I hope my entire legacy continues this tradition. To my fellow Yelpers: what are you waiting for? Go check them out!

So far, their black beans and rice are the best I had and I have been here a long time. You can order the cook food and sit at the outdoor tables to Wait or Dine; I have done both. Sometimes I get my lunch and too hungry to leave and eat it right there; it's a pretty day, why not?

We started with several appetizers: Cajun Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Calamari, Cajun Catfish, and Cajun Crispy Shrimps (we ordered the shrimp twice because they were that good). Everything came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the Seafood Cajun Boil with shrimp, mussels, and clams. We tried three different sauces: Original Garlic Butter Sauce Rustic Cajun Sauce Dynamite Sauce All three sauces were delicious and packed with flavor, making the seafood even better. Other offers they have: Free snow crab all day Wednesdays AYCE brunch 12-4 pm Sundays Cool laid back ambience and overall good experience... but the $25 ayce is misleading. The bill for 2 was $110 with tip.

Always get a side of white rice because those sauces deserve it. ;) I usually stick with the Cajun sauce. The garlic butter is a little too oily for me, but the Cajun sauce is chef's kiss. The shrimp, clams, and crab are always A1. I usually skip the lobster, because every time I get it: rubberrrryy. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the shrimp étouffée is seriously underrated. As for parking... it's Brickell. Good luck and God bless. I just walk there.
