Really nice interior, the vibe outside is also inside. Very impressed upon walking in, they meet their mark on Mexican theme bright colors, cool lights. A little bit of a miss on the two times we went there as far as feeling empty. One was during lunch hour which is normal for location and another was a late night mid week date night. It is something I think that will pick up overtime though. The food is bomb. The tacos are massive portions and absolutely delicious. Even their chips and salsa that come to the table the best I've had at a Mexican spot in a while. The enchilada was only OK but everything else was a huge hit. The service is nice and attentive, and the bartender was pleasant. I think I'd like to see the busyness of the place pick up a bit and continue to try some more of the dishes. Great happy hour. Good service. The cheese quesadillas were very good and decent portion. We also had the habanero wings with fries and they were so good too! Margaritas were delicious and strong. Seating available both by the bar and dining area. Free chips and salsa! Will be coming back. First time here! Restaurant is spacious - they have a bar and dining area. Both spaces had ample space. They also have a patio area in the back. Came here on a Thursday - late afternoon. Loved the decor inside and outside! Service was great and friendly. They had happy hour appetizers which was awesome! I ordered the mango jalapeño wings with fries and it was amazing! The sauce was so good and spicy. We also got tacos- steak and al pastor. The steak tacos were delicious! Steak was nice and tender. The al pastor tacos were okay - a lot of fat than meat. It happened to be karaoke night and let's just say my ears were bleeding from how loud and obnoxious it was. We couldn't even hear ourselves speak when having a conversation. It seemed as if other dishes may have been tasty at the tables around us but I would not recommend the birria tacos. Decided to try this local place on a whim and was not disappointed! The food was tasty, plentiful at a great price. We ordered the steak burrito, for us it was big enough to feed two. Unlike other places it was stuff w meat and not just rice and beans. We also got the chicken fajita the onions and peppers were super flavorful and chicken was tender. We also got the al pastor street tacos, which was tender and tasty. All in all environment was fun and festive playing upbeat Latino music throughout the meal. The not so great: throughout the meal the persistent beeping sound from an out of battery smoke detector was ever present. I'm sure I was not the only one who heard it but the staff did nothing about it. Also they automatically add 20% tip to the bill regardless of the size of the party. I'm all for 20%+ tip but imposing 20% tip regardless of the level of service is questionable practice. Lastly we had a little challenge communicating our needs and questions due to the slight language barrier. Despite those little issues we will def be back to try some of the other tacos and tortas. read more

This place has delicious enchiladas. My daughter ordered the Tostadas and they looked amazing. The food is fresh tasting and has a lot of flavor. We ordered 3 bowls of guacamole which was amazing - the kids devoured it. We waited a long time for drinks and food to come out. The restaurant was packed, every table was full and people were waiting. The staff was nice but was in a hurry. Parking is limited. Establishment was authentically decorated. Positives - wait staff very friendly at tentative. Clean restaurant, bathrooms could use a little extra. Food was very flavorful and much better presentation than I was expecting. Negatives - this is a major one for me and it may be the reason I don't give it another try. There was plenty of staff and only three other patrons in the restaurant besides my daughter and myself. The food came out cold. Very cold. The rice was warm. Enchiladas the tortillas the tacos on were nearly ice cold. Is the food being cooked to order? I don't know. This was my first visit to Las Maravillas. It was a Tuesday at noon. I ordered the Pechuga Asada con Nopales which is advertised as grilled chicken breast sauteed with cactus, onions, and jalapeno but my plate had much more than that on it. Expect rice, beans, peppers and vegetables. I also received chips with salsa and tortilla separately. I enjoyed my meal while listening to Spanish language tunes and watching ESPN on two televisions. It was not bad, pretty good for the first time. I went on a Sunday evening, and they had a live mariachi, but they were there just for 1 hour and they leave. I had the chicken chilaquiles with green sauce., they were delicious, my brothers had the tacos, and they look just like any other taco, the filling, onion and cilantro. my wife she had a sort of tortilla with chicken and lettuce, tomato and cotija chesse on top, she like it and she is very picky when it comes to Mexican food. I had a Horchata to drink they are big that's why you pay $6 , so it's worth it. Parking is good just watch your way-out traffic is a little bit crazy over there. My girlfriend ordered a strawberry mojito which tasted like a tree because it was all mint leaves.I ordered a red sangria.. Sangria tasted like it came from a box... We ordered chicken quesadillas, which was super huge and super bland.. My girlfriend ordered beef enchiladas which was drenched in their homemade sauce which was super spicy and super chewy..i ordered a steak with tomatoes and onions with rice and beans. There was absolutely no flavor or seasoning on my food...This has to be the worst food experience I've ever had in my life! The waitress already knew we were not happy..So she took off one of the items off the check.. The bartender was very friendly and went out of his way to make a virgin pina colata for my pregnant wife when he saw she didn't have a drink.
