I rate this a solid 3.8. Ordered online and was ready when I came to pick it up. First time having an açaí bowl and it was very yummy. Will be having more of those. Fruit and bowl tasted fresh. There is no chocolate drizzle so that put a damper on my meal. The plaza that the cafe is in looks and feels a little sketchy, but the cafe looks well kept. #IWantChocolateDrizzle

I'm really torn on how to rate this experience...1.5 stars perhaps? We stopped in for smoothies after several hours of softball practice - smoothies would hit the spot! Upon entering the location, we noted how dirty it was outside around the building entrance. Trash overflowing in both the trashcan and the ashtray (photo). When we got inside, same situation. Trash and food all over the floor and behind the counter and it smelled like burnt food. The stools were strewn about and the straw containers were empty, except for the one on the right of the counter, which had 3 straws. There were 4 customers inside, sitting at one table and 2 employees working - 1 on food, the other making smoothies. It took several minutes to get our orders in...the smoothies were very good and a very generous size. I cant say much about the service except it was slow but we barely had interaction with him besides placing our order and paying. The trash and unkempt appearance was really offputting...but the smoothies were good (one Sunshine and one acai with protein added).

Barley any lettuce and no tomatoes..

Smoothies taste great but food was not cooked to order and missing ingredients from menu. Typically they write the add on ingredients on the smoothie cup so you know you get what your paying for and this time non had marks on the cups.. with the food being wrong makes me wonder if I even got my extra B-12 or kale pack added to my smoothie..

Nice banana....

Food is really good but it's quite literally the single slowest restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life.

Couldn't make any food because the "oven is off" ok... turn it on? Is it broken? I guess I'll go somewhere else for lunch?

They do not rinse their spinach. Chicken cooked in plastic bags in microwave. Every thing has sugar and water in it.

Service was fantastic. The menu is a little confusing. Too many smoothies.....The ones we got were lacking in flavor.

Ahh, the sign of a butchers cleaver. I am not sure what this provokes in most people, but as I've…read moresaid before, Stephen King gives me the heebie-jeebies. So for me, the butcher cleaver represents something tasty--except for when the shmuckabaloos haven't a clue what they are doing. Fortunately, this tasty little joint, Miller's Market up in Gorham, Maine, knows what they're doing! I'd been cruising the highways, riding the coast of Vacationland for some time now, and somehow, someway, ventured a bit further inland. Once I saw the burnt-orange cleaver in the window, I knew I'd have to give it a try and see if these hullabaloos knew what they were doing. I was greeted with a "Hey, how you'rrrr doin'?" The soft, rolling extension on the r made me feel right at home in Maine. Jeezum crow, you Mainers speak funny. But by golly, you are a lovable bunch of hillbilly farmers and fisherfolk. Anywho, I ordered myself a chicken Caesar wrap--wanting to feel nourished, but not to the point of comatose. Salad in a wrap--a genius way to feel healthy. Mind over matter. "Hand-cut fries or hand-cut chips?" the counter guy asked me. Now, I love a fry, but I'm feeling crunchy in these overcast late-April days. I hesitate, and somehow this mind reader behind the counter could sense it. "I can see you want the chips, but you gotta try these fries. Why don't I give you a little of both?" he says to me. Now I'm looking at him cockeyed--just another Mainer who seems to be able to read a man's soul. Well, I am here now--no turning back. And then my eyes widen when I spot a tasty crème soda in the fridge next to the register. My lucky day. Crème soda--the most underrated of all sodas. What's not to love? Creamy and poppy all in the same bottle. This guy seems nice, and I am in no rush, so I say, "Hey, throw it on my tab. I'm going to be a while. After I eat, I'm going to write something!" I pull up a spot without paying and know that there's no expectation to do so--at least not right away. Good ol' Maine courtesy, as good as this blueberry Jalapeño salsa from Pemberton partners, which I can apparently purchase at Millers Market, where it just ain't sangys it's home goodies too. I open up my futuristic-typewriter and get to work on my latest novel, but can't seem to find a single word. I glance at the menu--buffalo chicken pesto sandwich. Hard tellin', not knowin'. Mainers--brilliant folk when it comes to food. Pesto and buffalo sauce! Never had it, but I need it. That's bound to be tasty--as warm buttah' on lobstah. "Hi, I'll take my butter with lobster, please."--how it should be ordered. Dee-EEE --licious. You Mainers are shaking your heads right now, pesto and buffalo is probably a common thing round these parts, from ya? Nope I ain't and the rest of the country is far behind on the trend of the buffalo/pesto combo, I can promise you that. Then my food is brought out to me. It looks tasty--but the fries have me skeptical.... Find out how it all turned out at https://ryanccurtis.com/blog/timeless-fries-at-millers-market/n19c63

Busy day running around and I was STARVING! While in Gorham, my wife suggested Miller's Market. At…read morefirst, I was put off by the atrocious parking, but what else could I expect in down town? This place definitely gives "butcher" and "market" vibes, which was expected. Indoor seating was lacking, and the menu wasn't huge...but trust me, the variety was just enough to satisfy just about anyone. I ordered the smash burger, which was messy, greasy and absolutely fantastic. I got the turkey club for my kids to split (and this thing was HUGE) they didn't finish it . My wife got the Cesar wrap, and she was beyond happy with it. She even brought half back home with us. I strangely suggest going on a nice day and sitting outside, it was wonderful. (Pro-tip; if going during peak lunch, expect a wait on the food. We went into Azul Tequila and got an appetizer to go so we could eat this while waiting for our sandwiches. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds)

When you enter a low rating, it asks what could improve. Reading the order and making the correct…read moreorder would be an improvement. I had wanted to add pickled onion but saw it was $1.95, so I skipped that. We both got sea salt bagels, cream cheese-requested on the side, and add ons of bacon, at $2 each bagel. We received 1 bagel with bacon. Cream cheese was on the bagels and it was very little, parts of my bagel had no cream cheese at all. I guess that's why it wasn't on the side because then it would have been a decent amount. I kind of feel bad writing bad reviews and complaining, but I tipped them 15% and everything is so expensive now (ie. the pickled red onions). The bagels were $7.90 each for a bagel, very minimal cream cheese and bacon add on. I was going to leave 2 stars but the bagels were edible & 1 of the bagels was almost the correct order, & when my husband called & told them, they said they would refund our $2, so I landed on a 3. Hopefully we do get the refund because we don't have it as of writing this. I just wish I could re-do the tip amount. It's like giving a reward for not doing your job-anyhow, check your orders before you leave! Even though we live in Biddeford, we will be getting our bagels at Forage in Portland in the future.

While I miss the old Rover Bagel where we could watch the bagels being made and have a seat while…read morewe eat, I still enjoy being able to get a soft fresh bagel. The bagels are about as fresh as you can get, soft and chewy! We placed our order on line and pickup was easy at the window. Plenty of parking in the lot.
