Staff forgot my salsa when i made sure to specify i wanted some then acted completely confused when i came back to ask for some, and gave me a container of it with sauce all over the outside, disgusting. the fruit is unwashed with the sticker still on, and no utensils or areas to wash the fruit. usually my smoothie is super flavorful but it tasted basically like water and the color was completely wrong, while i was in line they ignored the woman in front of me to talk to me and also the staff has no clue how the app works or the website. which is just terrible customer service. then i spilled my drink and asked for another which i payed for and gave the old one back they left it on the counter by the register for all the other customers to see while they order no one wants to look at that and it's just common sense to throw it away. i am disappointed by the service this time, you guys need to prep food to be safe to eat upon receiving and no one even told me the apple was unwashed i could've gotten sick. the cashiers need to work on customer service big time got my smoothie remade and it was taking forever and i wanted a refund but of course you can't do that without a manager why are they even working without one!!? i spent $20 for a crap smoothie and the wrong food and then an invisible one because i left i have stuff to do it's supposed to be fast food. $9 is way to expensive for that kind of service you guys seem to only hire people who would rather dig graves then do their job properly. it was upsetting because i usually love the food and drink and service. won't be coming back for awhile. i never got my refund of the smoothie i wanted, the only reason i spilled my drink was because i got back up to get the salsa they forgot AND i still payed for another drink which took way too long i didn't even want it anymore because i was upset. read more

Just about every time I come in (which has been pretty often in the past couple years), I'm greeted, they're very patient when I'm indecisive, and they've gotten my smoothies and food right every single time, even when I make some modifications. The place has almost always been clean in my experiences too. No complaints whatsoever. Strange seeing so many negative reviews. Food service places just about everywhere have teenage employees (aka children!), and if an employee is genuinely rude or dismissive, that's one thing. But many of them are just doing their best because no one WANTS to be reprimanded, especially not kids. From what I've seen and as a food service manager myself, I think they're doing a fine job. The last couple times I've stopped in for a smoothie I have specifically asked for very little water in the smoothie and more ice for a frozen smoothie rather than watered down and runny. Both times I've had to ask them to remake it because it was so runny and the flavor was awful. The smoothies are fairly expensive to not get it right. That was the last chance of going to this location, which is ran by teenagers who obviously could care less. read more

Went through the drive through a little while ago. No one else in line. I ordered and pulled up to the window thinking it would only be a few moments but sat there for about 10 minutes watching multiple people inside stand in line order AND GET THEIR SMOOTHIES before anyone ever even acknowledged we were sitting at the window. Then I they walked by and saw us and acted very surprised that we were sitting there and looked at the computer and realized our smoothie was never made. So after 15 minutes of waiting we finally got our smoothie and left. I suggest not using the drive through if you go here. They will forget you're there and you'll just sit and wait. read more

There are four girls that work at this location (2249 cumming highway, canton ga). They are rude and I have complained to the manager who was very nice and he apologized and said that he will handle it. However, I don't believe anything has been addressed because their attitudes have continued. They have intentionally made my smoothies wrong by adding extra sugar intentionally, or not adding what I've paid extra for as well as not blending it thoroughly (this should be able to be seen on video from there). Unfortunately I don't have all of their names but I do have photos as I had to start recording after they started Intentionally messing up my orders bc of their own personal reason of not liking me. Ive attached 3 photos, in which I blurred their faces just for legal purposes. Today, they refused to allow me to place an order at this location, which I assumed was because of their own personal reasons of not liking me which I felt was unfair treatment. So I called the police since they wouldn't allow me to place an order. The police told me that they wanted me banned from this location bc they said that I "threatened" them which was 100% a lie. That is something that I would never do to anyone. And if I "threatened" them, I certainly wouldn't be the one calling the police. I asked the police to pull all of the footage which will prove that I've never done such and have only gone there to place an order and leave after getting my order, but the police said that the workers claimed the audio doesn't work which I thought was pretty interesting . I told them that I have recordings but the police advised that they honestly couldn't do anything about it and that only management there could. These girls only banned me bc I complained to their manager. And they did it while their manager wasn't there. Sounds like retaliation because I filed a complaint against them. I have a full recording of my last interaction with them on April 19th at 8:34 pm from when they claimed that I "threatened" them. I have escalated this issue to higher up management/corporate, I plan to move forward with a lawsuit against tropical smoothie and will be sure to provide evidence on my end and my attorney will subpoena all footage at that location of dates/times that I was there if this issue is not addressed appropriately. read more

What a shame. When this location opened it was awesome. The employees were friendly, learned your name and favorites and took an interest in your satisfaction of the food. Never had to wait long as the staff was very well-trained and efficient, even in peak times. I have been a loyal customer, even making it up to "supercharged" level in their loyalty program (meaning I spent over $500 on smoothies). With the most recent change in management, the place has become a wreck. My last two visits I waited over 20 minutes each time for a smoothie, and one of them wasn't even made correctly. The staff is indifferent and not friendly at all anymore. I'm no longer greeted with a smile and a "hi Michael!" when I walk in, just sullen faces and an insincere "can I help you". Great customer service! They knew their product and how add in may affect the taste! Great price on smoothies, though they only seem to offer one size. They also seem to have healthy alternatives to fast food. Plan to go back and now prefer this place over other smoothie chains. Today was my 20th ish time at Tropical Smoothie, Canton since they've opened....yes I love it. I love the people and the product. Today however was a different experience. I normally call when I am about 5 miles away and ask that they get my smoothie ready (no problems), I run in, pay with my app and off I go. Today, I called just like I typically do and got the rudest person. I would chalk it up to a bad day BUT that is no excuse. I am a customer, a very good customer. I have been sick as a dog but wasn't rude to you. The raspy voiced female laughed out loud literally when I said "can you get me a smoothie ready to pick up in a few minutes"? I was really confused. I said "I'm sorry, aren't you open"? She says, "yes, literally JUST NOW" . Oh so sorry hon..... NEVER MIND!!!! Business is open, open sign is flashing and it is time to greet your customers with a smile or at least a pleasant good morning over the phone. You can laugh at me after I hang up, just like I cussed you up one side and down the other after I hung up. It was rude and unnecessary. If you don't want to work there, don't. Yesterday I waited an extra 5-6 minutes for your store to even open. That is also unacceptable when I have to get to work. Dunkin is right next door. The interior of the place was very brightly colored and inviting with very clean tables and floors. And I was really excited to try the place out, but... However, customer service wasn't the best...the lady who took the order was rude. Ordered a singular smoothie and received it 20 minutes...while other people who came in after received theirs before ours. I frequently order from this location. They are great about calling when they are out of items and are accommodating when it comes to special requests. My order today was incorrect when it was delivered so I reached out to the restaurant. The manager Matthew answered, apologized for the mistake, and instructed me to reach out to DoorDash to place another order. When my correct order arrived they replaced the item and gave me another smoothie! Matthew had put a handwritten note in my bag with a card for a free meal! I thought that this was amazing and way beyond expectation. He then called me shortly after to make sure my order was right and to again apologize for the mix up. I go to this Tropical Smoothie location a lot. They usually make top notch smoothies, so they get 5 stars. Tonight, not so good. Paradise Point had the consistency a little thicker than water. It wasn't even cold - not sure how they were able to do that. OK, it was just one out of 100 visits. Must have been short one scoop of ice. But what I don't understand is how the smoothie maker could pour it into the cup and not realize that it needed to be discarded. Management, you need to train better. read more

I love that they are open for breakfast and they serve lunch food in the mornings as well. Where as other places you normally can only order breakfast food and have to wait till 10:30 or 11 to get lunch food. I was able to walk in at 9am and order a smoothie for breakfast and a tai chicken wrap for my lunch! The service was good! Nice people. The smoothie was fresh and didn't taste like it had a lot of sugar. I got the peaches and silk smoothie! They made my food fast! And it tasted so good! They have options of whole fruit for your side which i love so I got an orange! Would definitely recommend this place as your morning stop before work!
