This was my first time trying this smoothie, and I have to say, it's the perfect flavor for Summer. Nicole is a terrible manager, and I strongly believe upper management should review her conduct and management practices. She appears to have difficulty regulating her emotions and has, on multiple occasions, spoken to employees including minor employees in ways that are inappropriate and unprofessional. A manager should be able to handle conflict, address concerns calmly, and communicate with employees respectfully, regardless of the situation. Employees, especially minors, should not have to work in an environment where they feel intimidated, disrespected, or uncomfortable because of a manager's behavior. I would not recommend working at a place that allows employees to be treated this way. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and looks into Nicole's behavior and how she interacts with the employees she supervises. read more

I have to say when I order online and head to the store, 99% of the time, My order is ready for pick up. This is during the work week, early in the morning. Probably less than 10 min my order is ready. There is one employee that is super welcoming and friendly, I believe her name is Dee.. She is probably one of the best smoothie makers as well. First time at this tropical cafe'. It's very clean with an open counter feel. My Smoothie and salad were made quickly and made ready for take out. The Island Green smoothie I had was excellent, as was the salad. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The menu is broad and is a good place for a healthy meal. All employees wore a mask and had gloves on. I met the owner who was equally pleasant. This establishment is recommended and should be considered a favorite. read more

Consistently accurate and well-made orders over the 2+ years I've been coming here. Finally took the time to rate it today though because service was particularly exceptional. Young lady there was extremely helpful when my mother went in to pick up an order I had placed (I screwed up and hadn't placed it at the correct location). Staff member immediately offered to reach out to correct my mistake and even brought our order to the car when it was completed so my mother didn't have to wait in the store or walk back in. I came in with my friend and this girl that took our order was not very welcoming, she seemed uninterested in having to take our order even though the store was empty and we were only their 27th order of the day. We both asked for the chicken chorizo quesadilla and she somehow rung us up for the burrito instead. For $17 to get our order wrong is ridiculous when we clearly specified what we wanted. The two girls there seemed like they didn't want to be bothered with making any orders so we just let it be. I remember going to this location a lot and never having a issue with any of the workers before but nonetheless the store is always tidy and clean. The workers for this location literally dont give a flip about you or your order. Came in and ordered with a girl who wore glasses and brown long hair and she already had attitude when taking me and my friend's order. Its not like they were even busy or in a rush, so to be annoyed for no reason is just dumb tbh. I saw the receipt and it said i was the 27th order of the day, so its not like they had been busy throughout the day either. She rang me and my friend up for the wrong too. And mind you the prices for a smoothie and a food item total to be about 17 dollars. I usually don't come to this specific store but any other store i have gone to, they made my order correctly, except for this one. They made my drink the incorrect way and did not add what i requested or sub the fruit i don't like for what i requested. They do not wear masks here ! I watched a worker sneeze on my open drink and not wash her hands right after ... I left peacefully without making a scene and called corporate... no one has yet to call me back or issue me a refund. I refuse to eat where they don't wear masks especially when COVID is passed by droplet... all food service members should be required to wear masks. I recommend this place for the smoothies and anything with out chicken. The chicken can taste a hard or chewy ruining the whole food item. But smoothies great I would say better than smoothie king as far as service, it's great no complaint staff are friendly. read more

Although the food and smoothies at this café are delicious, the customer service is awful. My co-worker has ordered from here twice through Door Dash - both times the order has never arrived. Despite dealing with management, she was not issued a full refund - she had to dispute the charges through her bank. When she called the restaurant directly to address the issue, she was simply told they'd refund the order but she'd have to place a new one for pickup. Lunch was obviously ordered through Door Dash because pickup wasn't an option. I'd only recommend this café if you're picking up an order or dining in. read more

Been going there with my wife on a regular basis and have been very happy with the owner Roy!! Went there Sunday 7/18 and the owner was off !! Ordered our usual and my wife detox smoothie came out wrong and she asked the girl if she could make it again being something was wrong and it was very sweet !! The girl said she couldn't remake it so my wife asked for her money back and the girl started getting very nasty !! Finally one of the other girls remade it but the damage was already done!! When we finally left the store the girl who had given us all trouble followed us out of the store and practically knocked my wife down!! I called the owner Roy to tell Him what happened and he was very defensive and said he can't have his employees being yelled at which was not the case!! He refused to hear the truth!! I know he has cameras in the place and I told him to look at the cameras because cameras don't lie!! This is not the way to run a business customers should be treated with respect !!
