Tropical smoothie just had a giveaway if you wore flip-flops. And if you sign up for their app, you get a free smoothie on your birthday!!! My mom and I went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, I asked the lady at the counter which item she suggested and she told me to get the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap. The wrap comes with grilled chicken, rice, black beans, cheddar, roasted pineapple salsa and it's AMAZING. I highly suggest it. My mom ordered the Santa Fe chicken quesadilla and it was good but not as good as mine. Now onto the smoothies, we had to try at least one because that's what they're known for. We ordered one and had them put them into two different cups which was the perfect amount. We had the sunrise sunset and I recommend that as well. We were in the area and found Tropical Smoothie Cafe when searching nearby places to eat. We placed an order via the website and were quoted 15 minutes. The timing was spot on - when we arrived, our food was set in the pick up spot. Initially we weren't given the smoothie, but we noticed before we pulled out so it was quickly remedied when I ran back in and inquired about it. The food was all much enjoyed! We picked up a Kids Meal Turkey Cheddar Wrap with Sun Chips Harvest Cheddar (they had a nice variety of sides to choose from, including veggies, whole fruit, and chips), a Kids Awesome Chocolate Smoothie, a chocolate chip cookie, and a snickerdoodle. I love Smoothies, I make them at home, I go to Smoothie King quite often, so this was a must try for me. When I walked in, the cafe smelled great from whatever food they were making! The staff was friendly and my order was completed quickly. The smoothies all come in one size of 24 ounces or they can be separated into two children's size drinks which I would assume are 12 ounces. A little disappointing considering Smoothie King has several size options available. I ordered the peanut butter cup smoothie, and the smoothie was just okay. The peanut butter tasted a bit off, it tasted more like a peanut butter powder, and the chocolate flavor did not come across as much to me. I was disappointed that there were a lot of ice chunks in my smoothie. Pricing is on par with what you would pay at Smoothie King. Okay, honestly, I didn't have the highest hopes for Tropical Smoothie. I have been to many chain smoothie places and always felt like my only option was mediocre food or sugar-filled smoothies. I went after the gym with my brother in law. I was surprised to see the crazy variety of both the smoothie and food menu. I also loved that the calories were listed by each smoothie. **This rating is based on ordering through App & pick-up experience only This is the first TSC that I've been to with a drive-thru. It's an awesome amenity, especially with COVID. However, apparently you are not allowed to pickup App orders through the drive-thru. And to make the mobile ordering experience even worse, the App ordering apparently doesn't link to the Rewards program as my points didn't register until I scanned the receipt. I placed my order through the App to be picked up at 2:45p. Our order 2 Smoothies. Cost was close to $11 - pricing at TSC has gotten very expensive over the last 2 years. When I pulled up to the drive-thru at 2:46p and said I had a mobile order I was told - "sorry, you have to come inside to get it... it's our policy". Not wanting to argue, I walked in (thankfully had an extra mask in the car). My food was in a cubby just sitting there - other TSC keep smoothies in the fridge to help keep them cold until the person arrives. Because the smoothies were already ready (according to the receipt, they were made at 2:38p), I was especially irritated that they made me come inside because all they had to do was grab the bag and hand it to me through the window. The smoothies at least tasted good, although were a bit melted since they had been sitting out for nearly 10 min by the time I got them. I'll never again use the App to order ahead at this location since you can't use the drive-thru if you do and your rewards points don't auto apply. read more

I got the combo and was pleasantly surprised how large the smoothie was. Nice and thick but not too thick. The quesadilla was okay. Not alot of flavor but I opted not to use the salsa that may have been the missing zing. Would visit again. If you use the mobile app there is a promo where the 2nd smoothie purchase is free. I love tropical smoothie, but I can't recommend this location. Worst experience I've ever had. I placed an online order on my way home from work. I walk in, no one says nothing to me just look at me. Not "hello someone will be right with you", nothing. I stood there for a good 5 minutes, as workers kept looking at me, not saying nothing. Finally a guy comes from the back and ask me how can I help you. I get my smoothie and it's terrible. It just taste like frozen ice, no flavor at all. I usually get this smoothie, and it's never like this. So not only bad customer service but bad smoothie as well. I'll stick to the Polaris location from now on or either smoothie king. read more

I got the blimey limey smoothie which had no flavor which taste more like not so great fruit juice and less like a smoothie. I also got 2 wraps one for me and one for my friend. The food is good, the lack of stars is due to the service/company policy that is not customer friendly. I ordered an online order and selected pickup. Upon arrival, there were absolutely no customers in the store or in the drive-thru, only workers. The workers would not allow me to pick up my order in the drive-thru window. The staff said you have to come inside to pick up my Togo order. This was very inconvenient.
