I've been coming here for a while and it's pretty consistently just okay. The smoothies are always great and definitely the highlight for me. Unfortunately, the peanut butter crunch flatbread (which is one of my favorites) has been really inconsistent. Some days it has way too much peanut butter, and other times it tastes like they threw in two whole bananas. It's just never the same twice, which is disappointing enough that I've stopped ordering it. If you're sticking to smoothies, you'll be happy--but I wish the food side was a little more consistent. read more

I came here one other time for my usual smoothie and Tuesday night I came with my brother and he got his usual as well and we share sometimes and I know how his drink usually tastes and it was completely bitter and nasty we ended up throwing it away but mine was fine and then I came yesterday evening aswell and my usual smoothie was super thick and pasty and the service is okay depending on who's working and I've been a manger for a smoothie shop before and these young ladies do not know what they are doing and they have terrible customer service and they they where talking bad about me in front of my face like I couldn't see or hear on top of that they made my smoothie not fully blended and I was watching them as they where making multiple smoothies there was still so much left in the blender and as a former manger of a smoothie shop I'm assuming that they use specific measurements to not waste product and to not waste money but the amount left in the blenders was un real! And as soon as I walked in I smelt something burnt. It's always the young ladies at this location that are very disrespectful! One of them was not even in work attire! Drive Thu had no wait this time. Easy to order large screen available to place order over intercom, drive to first window pay and go. Got my favorite smoothie, x2, which is the Bahama Mama. Love it tropical coconut strawberry flavor! I got a coupon in the mail, so had to come, felt bad to just grab a free and go so bought another, second going to drop of for my son at linch hopefully he likes! I can't see why he wouldn't, kids can be picky tho or if the wind is blowing left that day it's not a hit anymore haha... Awful customer service! I placed my order online the app and I came in to pick it up. Still sitting here 35 minutes after placing the order and nothing yet. I checked with them upon arrival and I was told it should be done shortly. Order was placed at 2:52pm and just getting it at 3:22pm. It was just 2 açaí bowls and a cookie. My toddlers love the wraps and protein shakes so much we finally downloaded the app. The baseline/ cooper location has a habit of hearing or making our order wrong, but they are quick to fix it and honestly, the food and smoothies are worth waiting for. I went to go get a smoothie and flatbread as I always do and she kept mentioning fat burner when I never mentioned wanting that. I repeated my order multiple times and After repeating multiple times I didn't not want that fat burner she became snarky and started to have a horrible attitude. Saying she never said that and raising her voice at me. I called to ask for the manger and her name and "they couldn't give that to me". They literally have name tags, and they can't provide a name for the complaint? 1st visit: Smoothie is good but I literally taste 0 pineapple and that makes me so sad. Just taste like strawberry banana:( Update: I asked if I got the right smoothie and the girl who made it told me the reason I probably didn't taste pineapple is because the bananas were so ripe. She was right. And was willing to remake the smoothie with more pineapple and less banana. 2nd visit: tried a sunrise sunset, no protein added. It was wonderful! I think a new girl made it. I go to this location pretty often. The quality of the food and smoothies are usually consistent, but sometimes when I make a small modification to my order it gets forgotten. They are pretty good at making my order quickly. I'm not sure why Tropical Smoothie gets such bad reviews. First timer- came in about 1:30 PM and they seemed to be been fairly busy. Never acknowledged by any of the staff when we walked in & it took them sometime to say "we will be right with you" it was actually after we decided upon what we were going to order from the menu. We sat at a high top table after ordering. I got the watermelon mint smoothie and the new bbq quesadilla. My friend and her daughter got a green tea smoothie. My order was up, I guess they'd called my name ( didn't hear it do to the volume of music) and the gal holding my bag ( with my meal inside) was clearly agitated when she had to make a second announcement-for my "order up", she was literally in stepping distance of our table, but instead she's waiting for me to meet her half way and pretty much threw the bag at me as I walked towards her LOL *Maybe this is the new norm with Covid19, but it was rude and my friends were extremely upset by her actions. When I sat back down at the table the bag had the wrapped quesadilla, no napkins nor my receipt. Took some time after that- for my friends to get their drinks. When they went to the counter to retrieve their purchase they had to ask for napkins. The quesadilla was average; the smoothies was pretty good and delightfully refreshing on a hot day. Seemed these staffers where overwhelmed even after it had died down. Service was slow and the staff was un-engaging. Food handler was rude.
