My wife was there and ordered a strawberry smoothie. The counter service was rude, they just look at you like they're not there. They don't address customer at all. Food she got was questionable and did not seem fresh. She got sick and will never go back. The whole store was also dirty. I would suggest for the owner to send some personal friends who the service help don't know and to go in the and place some orders and take them right out to the car for you (the owner) to get quick knowledge and then you can cut through whatever their telling you . I placed a delivery order on June 1 at this location, I was delivered the incorrect items for someone else. The driver returned to give me my alleged correct order AND still had someone else's name on the items And was not what I ordered . I called the store. They said that they weren't sure what was going on, and that there wasn't a manager in to help me. So I ended up calling your customer service number to report what happened and i was told I would hear something back within a week and I never did. I never heard from the manager here either, so I called a few days later to follow up and the manager answered, The phone got nasty with me when I told her my issues saying that she is the manager and never heard about anything happening. I was not blaming anyone. I've been more than patient and understanding, but I'm paying customer. I've called your customer service number three times now and it's been almost a month. Will I ever get my money back or be compensated? This is not how you run a business. For a business to be handling food that we put into our bodies and making money off of individuals and not ensuring the safety and correct items are being delivered and handled properly by their employees is a disgrace. It's unsanitary and is not up to standards in present day I'm not blaming the kids that are working there. The food was deliciously made to order and this location was very clean. The only issue I had for my visit was the staff. There was only one manager on duty training three different people, so that made the wait time excessively long, however it was understandable considering it was noon time, with three new employees. After an entire week, my refund has just been out in for process and I should receive it in a few days. How sweet? Also, you'll be happy to know that the manager has been texting and playing on my phone up until last night when I finally blocked her. And by manager, I mean the owner's adult sister!!!! This is by far the most ghetto, dirty establishment I have ever set foot in. I would not be surprised if they had roaches. If there customer service policy is this poor as the lobby that shabby, I can only imagine what that kitchen looks like. Did I mention that it smelled like rotten food? Just go a few minutes further to the Tropical Smoothie on 7 mile in Livonia. Trust me, you don't want to get sick from spoiled food on 5 mile. Update: since my initial visit to this location, I am still receiving text messages and calls not only from staff and their family, but from the owner's sister. Today is September 11. It is no wonder that the sister can't do anything with her life but manage 16 year olds using blenders and microwaves. She would never make the cut at a mcdonalds or Jersey mikes because she obviously can't take the pressure of being asked for a refund. It's just a matter of time before the owner realizes that her sister is not an asset to her business. My sister's block club is already spreading the word in the area about how they treat their customers. Customizable smoothies & fruit or chips for sides. I asked for the fruit cup, and while it was fresh and tasty... It was very small, less than 1.5oz. Lots of bright windows and outdoor seating was available too. The place was pretty clean, but the bathrooms had a huge puddle of water surrounding the entry's, and the caution sign was tucked into the back corner... Definitely not OSHA standards. What I didn't like was the fact my friend ordered the Caesar Wrap minus tomatoes, and after discovering they had made it WITH tomatoes she asked them to remake it... The girl goes "Would you mind if I just picked them out for you?" & also asked her if she had ordered the wrap without tomatoes in the first place... Ew, no beuno... Asked for the manager, who shooed me to the other employees. Until I told her that she would help me since I had ingested plastic. I think. She frantically jumped up. Had them make another smoothie. Which I declined. I asked for water because at this point I had to throw up. Outside of course. I showed her more plastic flakes and requested my money back. There were roughly 6-8 employees in the back doing what seemed to be nothing. I've been contacting corporate ever since. And I've been waiting for a call back from upper management that hasn't happened in over 45 days. They have lost a very loyal customer. And I will be reporting to the BBB. Poor customer service is an understatement. UPDATE! The owner contacted me and things went from bad to worse. She said she thought she handled it by giving me a refund as she was the woman in the store that helped me. And she said that she "heard/read somewhere that I'd be sent a $10 gift card. I hadn't. And I asked her to tell me the address the phantom card had been sent to. She couldn't. But kept repeating that it had been given to me. I told her that empathy would have went a long way in this situation. She should have treated me the way she would've wanted to be treated. So I hadn't been to a TSC since VA and that was at least three years ago. Didn't even know they had these in Michigan. I was five months pregnant when I discovered this location. I was elated!!! I went in and I informed the girl at the register that it's been a while and I'm not sure what I use to get. So I ordered what seemed like it. Guess what? I was so wrong. I took a sip and I cringed!
