Sad I can't return there any longer due to being treated that way. I can't pay this much and be given the wrong order and no chance at a refund or response. Ordered 2 Açaí bowls. Both took 20 minutes to get. Neither had blueberries, which they are supposed to come with from previous orders. I love this place. It's near my office so it's perfect for a quick drive thru lunch- and yes they have a drive thru which is a HUGE plus especially if you are always on the go. I have been obsessed with the Island green smoothie lately- both the regular and the detox versions are so good. Today I also tried the Caribbean Jerk chicken Bowl- it was good but I wish there was more of the pineapple salsa. Ultimately the bowl left a little more to be desired and honestly the jerk sauce/dressing I am so glad that they served it on the side because holy wow was it hot! I needed the smoothie to calm down the spice and I didn't even add a lot- basically a drizzle on top and mixed it up. Update: 7/24/19 today I ordered a half sandwich with my smoothie- I ordered the turkey apple Dijon because it sounded delicious and I had been wanting to try it. There's nothing on it! We visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe during Easter weekend after my youngest sons belated birthday party that was held outdoors. It was super hot, and we all wanted a cold treat. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and açaí berry boost smoothie. I thought the wrap tasted fresh and delicious. It had a buffalo sauce that wasn't spicy and light ranch with tomatoes, chicken, and lettuce all wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla. The smoothie tasted horrible, had no flavor, and in my opinion a waste of money. I give this place an average rating because it was clean inside and the food was good, but for a smoothie cafe, their smoothies did not taste very good. read more

I've been here 5 times over the course of the last few months. Each visit becomes exceedingly worse. Whether it be in food quality or service. I'll include an example of my last two visits since they have both been this month. Each time I have ordered the Cali Chicken Club flatbread which looks delicious on the menu. However, each time I have got it it looks like the photo I've included. Except for the first time. The first time it had no lettuce where as the second time it did. However, neither visit has yielded a flatbread like the one shown with 2 tomato slices, sliced chicken that you can see or 2 strips of bacon. Instead it has been chopped up diced chicken with one bacon strip and hardly any chicken at all, 1 tomato slice and when the flatbread lays on it's side you can't even see what's filling it. This is the worst food representation I've ever seen aside from Taco Bell. And I thought Tropical Smoothie Cafe would take more pride in their food since they are marketing themselves as a healthy option... guess not. Now lets talk about service. I downloaded the app on my 4th visit before checking out. Their was a little hickup with the scanner but the person at the register worked it out. After receiving my Cali Chicken Flatbread w/o any lettuce and not having hardly a slice of bacon I took it up to the counter because I thought surely their must be a mistake. The person who made it then began to tell me that was the Cali. I pointed at the photo on the menu. They then tried to tell me no that's not the Cali. I then pointed out the name below the sandwich. At this point another employ intervened and explained they were in error. This new employ then brought me the sandwich and with a heap of lettuce on it and still 1 tomato slice. I said it's also supposed to have bacon as I opened it up and could see none. She then pointed out an inch away from my food with her bare finger their was bacon on it (a tiny sliver under cheese with a meesly amount of chicken). At this point I was so upset I said thanks and let it go. Now to my last visit. I went through the drive through and ordered the same thing again. This time when I got to the window and presented the app to scan clerk took my phone from me, closed the window and did not return my phone. This is unacceptable. At this point my phone is unlocked and I find this very unprofessional of any business in this day and age to with hold a customers phone from them for any length of time out of their range of site. After honking and knocking on the counter outside the window a new employ emerged apologized and handed me my phone and took my payment. Seriously what kind of place is this. If you're the owner or management you need to train the employees better in service, the rewards program and food prep. This makes you all not trustworthy and definitely not a top choice for food. Ordered first one, got home and found pork on one slice. Barely any on second slice. Nothing but two strands of cheese on both end pieces. When I went the next day for my smoothie, one of the managers just had a vacant look in her eyes. Like she could give a shit. No offer of replacement, nothing at all. It continued to bother me, so I called yesterday and spoke with different manager, Bethany. She was very kind and offered to replace. Went today to pick up the replacement and order another for my son, thinking surely they would do it the right way. This quesadilla costs 8.89 without tax. They did as I asked, and cut all the way through. Again, shouldn't have to ask. Got home with them and they were a joke yet again. Barely any pork, but tons of onions!! I love spending that much on onions. I will never purchase again or recommend. I suggest this owner gets his/her act together. Also, benches are nasty to sit on. You can stick to them. PLEASE ADDRESS THE ISSUES WITH THIS STORE. Went back to store yesterday 7/16/20 to order my usual Mango Magic sub pineapple for peaches. Was told they were out of peaches. Called next day to see if they had peaches and was told they will no longer carry peaches. Went today to get just a plain Mango Smoothie. The prices have increased but the drive thru menu does not reflect that change. Is this even technically legal? You can't charge higher prices than what your menu says arbitrarily. Until they update or even put a handwritten note stating price changes, the prices listed should remain in effect. Am I wrong in this assumption? read more

Well I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand the smoothies are bomb. I love the smoothies. It just makes you feel like you had something nutritious. ON THE OTHER HAND I find the service was not that great. The food took longer than it should when we went and one of the people in my group ordered a chicken flatbread type sandwich. They left out the chicken. When she told them it had no chicken in it, the manager or whoever she was said that they forgot and then proceeded to bring some room temp chicken over to my friend and asked her to stick it inside of the sandwich. Just a very odd ordeal. I would like to think this is not the normal so Im not totally shooting this review down.
