The lean machine was delicious and the kids enjoyed their smoothies. A great plus is giving back to the community, it was nice to see they were collecting toys for the local radio station, which I had to return to donate a few toys and grab another smoothie. I went here with my wife recently. The location is pretty central to nearby theme parks and many apartment complexes. The menu has a ton of good options for anyone and the staff is very pleasant and quick to take and complete your order. While our experience was good and the smoothies came out deliciously, there was a terrible odor in the shop. It smelled so bad it nearly made me wait outside for my order. Hopefully this was just a bad day. Otherwise, I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to treat themselves. read more

I was surprised at how simplistically good this cafe was. The inside decor was island style with accents such as a wooden fan, night island colors and paintings, as well as wooden window frames. The menu had a wide variety of lunch options to pick from. We chose from the breakfast menu since it was 9:45 AM. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Wrap. It was a decent size for only $3.49. It was definitely smaller than a lunch portion which made sense. The wrap was delicious and used fresh ingredients like tomatoes, spinach, eggs, etc. We also ordered a Orange Ginger Smoothie which came served in a very tall to go styrofoam cup. I wish they used something more eco friendly than styrofoam however. But the smoothie itself was good and such a big portion for the price you pay! Our friend ordered the Peanut Butter Crunch Flatbread. The bread is soft and loaded with crunch and honey. If you don't enjoy a lot of honey, ask them to add less! read more

I've been coming to this location and the food is great and usually the service is great but unfortunately today's service was subpar and shouldn't happened the way it did. I walked in to the manager and cashier talking to each other so I waited patiently until they were done, 5 minutes go by and I hadn't been tended to yet but another woman came in and they stopped their conversation and didn't even look at me before asking her what she was there for. I ordered the Mocha Madness. It was my first time at tropical smoothie. The smoothie was really good. The customer service was fantastic. The cashier was very patient with me because I didn't know what I wanted. She even offered me a chance to taste test the smoothie and if I didn't like it she would make me a new one. The best Tropical Smoothie I've been to in Orlando so far. They provide great customer service and great quality food. I recently went to a Tropical Smoothie (which I reviewed--go read what I wrote), I must say this place is loads better. First of all, the environment was great. Terrific background music and the cashier was very friendly. They explained what's new on the menu and were very efficient taking our orders. They even brought our food to us, which I have only experienced at this Tropical Smoothie. The place was very clean and kept up. I really have no negatives to say. I know the food is nothing super special at Tropical Smoothie. But they deserve five stars, because the service and environment made everything taste better. We finally got a break from this crazy Florida Winter weather! Today was a perfect combination of sunny and breezy! My girls and I decided it was smoothie weather! We ordered the strawberry banana for the girls and I got the detox island green! They loved their smoothie! Mine was refreshing with a hint of ginger! Fresh, clean and healthy! Great customer service! With two wild kids biting at the bit to get their smoothie orders in, the gal at the front counter offered to split the 24oz strawberry banana into two smaller cups! Perfect for the girls! Quiet satisfied kids = happy parent! The vibe is casual and fun. We arrived around 4pm, the place had several people coming in to order, but very few people sticking around. Probably a good place to meet up with friends. Overall, I will come back. Especially during the summer months! Back again, this time on a weekend. I'm not really known for "healthy" eating, especially considering how heavy I used to be. Even as a newly minted thin person, my terrible eating habits have remained. Should I continue eating at this place, however- that ship may sail. And sink. Let's start with the easy one- the smoothies. I've had two now- the Chia Banana Boost and the Paradise Point. Both are, to put it bluntly, on point. Fresh, delicious, and not overly sweet. It's as if they were made with the actual fruits and such, not just milk, sugar, and whatever madness goes into most restaurants' attempts at semi-frozen beverages. Glorious. Now, the food. I've had different flatbreads and wraps, and none have disappointed. Even a hilariously discerning palate such as mine (trying not to sound elitist here- I'm just ultra picky with what I like) has enjoyed every flavorful bite of the choices I've made when ordering here. It's great how a simple set of choices in ingredients can elicit such a complex, wonderful eating experience. We're talking veggies and meats here. Not rocket science. The process to get the survey associated with your receipt is a little complicated, and then once you do it and go in to get your $2 smoothie you will be disappointed to find out that it's only a $2 smoothie with 7.29 item purchase..... It's my fault I should've read the details first, but the cashier highlighted the other parts and I was shaky after too much BJJ at FRBJJ down the street, and got excited about another smoothie, honest mistake. None of the smoothies are even 7.29, and it's per item so you can't even stack a bag of chips on one smoothie to get another one for the $1.99 smoothie. You would have to buy a sandwich... but if you don't eat bacon you have limited options... (don't get me started on the time they gave my Muslim friend bacon after he said hold the bacon.... poor thing. They didn't even comp his order, but I digress) Advice to TSC: the quality of the survey results directly correlates the value you put on them. The Chick-fil-A receipt surveys I've done were longer and collected more data, but were easier to fill out and were worth doing honestly every time because they came with an actually free item. TSC, you went cheap on the survey, and disappointed an otherwise happy customer, and got me to write a low star review. Stopped in here to get a couple of detox smoothies. Staff was friendly and recommended a few smoothies to my liking. For $5 we got a tall and generous smoothie that was delicious with kale, apples, ginger, lemon, and strawberries. Once you walk in you can smell the fresh fruits being cut for your smoothies. Lunch options looked good based on their menu and wish I would have had the time to come back but as a tourist I was hopping all around town trying out all the other foods in the area. I also tried the Sunrise Sunset and it was as equally delicious. While there, I saw that they have Korean steak tacos on their menu. How could I resist? I used to love this place but the Kirkman Rd location has now gone to hell. I visited a couple of weeks ago and ordered the Chipotle Chicken Club, Bahama Mama and the Kale & Apple Slaw. The young lady at the register proceeded to tell me they don't have Kale & Apple Slaw. I said since when? I always get it and it's on the menu. She looks at her computer and says we don't have it. I said can you please ask someone else. She asked another young lady and she says "yes we have it." She then proceeds to finish my order. Never once apologizing for her error. 2nd visit yesterday. I ordered the same exact thing to go. I got my food but they forget my smoothie and a young lady see's me waiting and asks are you waiting on your smoothie? I replied yes. She says I'm so sorry, let me get it out for you. Mean while the two girls in the back are moving very slowly. I finally got my drink and left. My smoothie was kind of watery but I still drank it. I got home only to discover that my Kale & Apple Slaw container had two small pieces of Kale, a dash of carrots and 3 apples. The container was practically empty!
