I came in having a horrible day , lola made it so enjoyable to be there , i like i said was having a not so good day i had split my smoothie and she was so kind too clean it up she wasn't rude about it she was very kind and made me feel a bit better , i was embarrassed and was gonna eat in my car but i stayed and it was worth while , she asked if she could remake my smoothie because i split it but i told her no way i was gonna let her do that after her being so kind, i really and truly appreciate her kindness is hard too find now a days and she was just pure kindness and joy i have never a a better experience while having a bad day you know lol . Ordered online, was needing to walk in and walk out. I did stop and use the restroom, there were a few roaches Place wasn't really clean. I'm not sure if there was a change in management or what but it's just not the atmosphere it use to be. Smoothie was great though! I came in recently and was talking to an employee named tabby and was asking about the menu and what I assume is her girlfriend came out from the back and looked visibly upset. I wasn't sure why, because this was a normal interaction, but she came up and started telling me that I was being very inappropriate with her "girl". They then proceeded to walk away all handsy with each other. I don't think this is appropriate at all for a work place. On top of that it looked like the other employees that were working there were very stressed and overworked. Good morning Ya'll, Let me tell you about my experience at Tropical Smoothie on 23rd St. I dont usually do this but DAMN! I called in because I submitted an incorrect online order a few weeks ago, the store had no manager available to override my order so I got charged. I called back more than 4 times and the "manager" was always gone at "appointments, picking up lettuce, and fixing her tire". Everytime was a different excuse. I left contact information and didnt receive a call back. After a few weeks, I finally get ahold of Jackie Stephens, apparently the store owner, and she hangs up on me without getting the information needed to refund me, not once, but twice. DO NOT GO TO THIS TROPICAL SMOOTHIE. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY SERIVCE AGAIN. My problem remains unsolved. Terrible customer service! Have been at this location before, and the service was good overall. Had no complaints then. Just walked in there for a single smoothie order and was completely ignored the entire time I was in there. The staff seemed more interested in their own conversation and jokes. I waited for a few minutes, and still wasn't greeted or at least told they were busy cleaning up or anything. So, just walked out - and still no one said a word to me. This is one of the worst Tropical Smoothie cafes I have ever been to. Last time I went there, I waited 15 minutes in line for my pickup order, got to the car, and I realized they have me the wrong food even though the receipt they handed me with the food had the correct order on it. Then today, I called in an order and sent my husband to go pick it up, and they only gave him my smoothie. They completely left out the chicken Cesar bowl I ordered and my poor husband didn't know what I ordered. He was relying on them to actually remember the pickup order. Had to wait 25+ minutes for my four drinks. The girls working completely forgot my order and had to take the receipt to make the drinks. They were gossiping and on their phones while we waited. We were incredibly disappointed with the service, and lack of urgency. Will not be coming back here. I can understand waiting for mobile orders that were placed before we arrived, but customers who arrived after us were served first and they had no sense of keeping track of who ordered when. read more

Usually when I go here they're great but they've gotten some new people lately with no customer service skills. I ordered 3 smoothies call in, when I arrived they were ready and I added a additional smoothie. Instead of giving me my ready smoothies she used them to fill another order where they had shorted a customer who previously complained bc the cup wasn't full. Just to have me wait longer and short my cup. I asked for two additional kids cups (I have a 3 and 4 yr old who split a smoothie) and the girl at the register had a ATTITUDE about that. Didn't even look at me to place them in my hand. I'd have definitely paid for them if it was such a issue. The regulars though are great! Too bad they can't always be up front. read more

Great food and great smoothie choices, but good luck getting through on the phone. I can't tell you how many times I've attempted to call an order in (we're talking 3-5 mins of ringing) to save time and when I arrive, there's absolutely no one in line and no reason the phone couldn't have been answered. The customer service is better at this location than the one on the beach, but I can't rate higher stars until they step up their call in orders "game". If your location allows for call in/pick up, it should be a functional option. read more

This is a great quick-stop alternative to regular fast-food chains. Don't be fooled into thinking that you're getting a low calorie meal though... Just something different and fresher. The staff at this particular location are very friendly and helpful. I stopped in yesterday morning for a couple smoothies and they were kind enough to put the leftover smoothie (you know, the remaining smoothie that is leftover in the blender once your cup is full) in a small child's cup for my 2 year old. I literally come here EVERY Sunday, sometimes during the week also. Today I bought 2 smoothies, one of them was missing quite a bit, this has happened before-but today the cup was missing alot! I can only assume that there wasn't enough mixed to fill 2 cups. I brought this to girl at register attention, she said she'd have to make a new batch, so I told her Ok. Woohoo! I stopped in here after seeing it several times and not going in because I'm not a smoothie fan so I assumed I shouldn't bother. I was happy with the selection they had. They also have wraps and salads, though nothing vegan from what I could tell. We got three different smoothies. Two of them were really sweet and we were left wondering if they add sugar or not. We had already left so I wasn't able to ask. They might have a more complete ingredient list somewhere. Or perhaps an allergen list? I'll have to ask next time I go in. They currently have a seasonal avocado based smoothie that was definitely my favourite. Not too sweet! read more

When I walked in the whole place smelled so bad and nobody greeted me. There were two very young girls behind the counter just talking to each other. One of them making a smoothie the other one just standing. It was a good 10 min before someone finally said something and took my order and then they were very slow making the food still talking and having fun. The girl at the cash register was rude. She did not greet me, she was picking at her nails. There was a young man that made my smoothie, it took him forever, around 10 minutes... and the smoothie was still icy,however, there was another young lady that brought my smoothie to me when it was "finished" and she was quite polite.
