Bought a smoothie today. I watched as the server made my order. When the blender was done, she took the lid (it had smoothie stuck to the underside) and put it in the sink. There wasn't enough smoothie in the blender to fill the cup. So, she pulled the blender lid out of the sink, shook the stuck smoothie into my cup, and put the lid back in the sink. She then put a lid on my cup and shook it around, so that it looked like there was more smoothie in the cup than was actually there. (Once the smoothie settled, it was still 2+ inches short of full.) Then, she called my name, not realizing that I was 3 feet away watching the entire thing. Welcome to cutting corners. Good luck. read more

Smoothies were fine. This review is strictly for the poor service and experience we had today (Sun, April 23rd at 12:30PM). We came in to an empty store where a young ladly with a septum piercing refused to acknowledge us in any way. She appeared to be talking to someone through a bluetooth in her ear the whole time we were here. Im not sure if she was talking to the other young man working at the time or someone else but he appeared to be doing the same thing. We stepped up to the register where this young lady finally took our order. Still, no greeting at all. She made just our smoothies and walked them around the counter to my husband once done. It took a very long time for one sandwich to be made. I belive they took a few call in orders before us even though we were the only ones waiting there right in front of them. The super bizzare thing that prompted me to write this review right away was once my husbands sandwich was finally done instead of handing the bag to him she came around the counter, yelled his name, and threw it on a table. My husband and I looked at each other like, what was that??? I dont like to say things normally but I was already unhappy with this experience so I confronted this young lady with short brown hair, and a septum piercing and asked why she threw our bag on the table. She responded "thats what we do." Well, I really hope that is not what you do Tropical Smoothie Cafe. She gave me a very faint/weak/I really dont care sorry. I then asked how long she had been working there and for her name and she refused to respond to both. She laughed and walked away. The name on our smoothie cups said made by Moe. To make matters worse my husband didnt even receive the right sandwich. She put the order in for something he didnt even ask for. This young lady screams I do not care about my job, or customers with her attitude. Its pretty sad. My first visit is now my last visit. read more

While exploring Southern Utah with the family we stopped at this very clean spot. Great food with friendly service. It was refreshing after a day of hiking and playing at a local park. I had the Sunrise/sunset smoothie and a Thai wrap. The mango tasted great in the smoothie and the wrap was slightly crunchy (lightly toasted) which was awesome. read more

We came in this morning and the entire store was completely empty. The music was also so loud we could barely hear each other talking. It was screaming music and as soon as we called out to get their attention the song quickly changed to a "beachy" song. There were 2 employees there that we saw. One walked past us up front to grab something and the continued to go straight to the back. Absolutely no acknowledgment. We tried to get their attention by saying hello and trying to get some sort of attention to get our order taken. Still nothing. We waited close to 10-15 minutes until we finally decided it was a waste of time. We intentionally went there so we could get something good and quick on our way out of Saint George. We are extremely disappointed in the service and hope that these employees is spoken to. In my opinion taking orders is one of the most important things to do. Right? Apparently not to these girls. I am very upset and WILL NOT be returning to that store. I have never had such a poor experience. read more

It is ok. I took my toddler here. She wanted a cheese Quesadilla. We ordered a 3 cheese no chicken. Waited 10 mins. Gave us no straws with our smoothie and they gave us a chicken Quesadilla. They didn't greet when you walk in or when you leave. Didn't acknowledge anyone who came to the register for a few mins. For us or anyone else while we were there. Love the location. Food was good. Manager could remind or train their employees a little better on greeting and getting orders correct. read more

The smoothies were phenomenal, of course! But mostly wanted to comment on how kind and helpful the employees were: Krista and Alyssa! They were kind and caring and genuine the entire order process. And THEN, three hours later I came back to inquire about a wallet I had lost. And Krista searched the restaurant and found it on the floor underneath the table. She is so thorough and thoughtful! She should get a raise or become a manager for sure! Today was my first time at Tropical Smoothie, but because of my positive experience, it definitely won't be the last. read more

This location goes above and beyond to accommodate changes to their menu items to make them vegan for me. I can always count on tropical smoothie cafe for a healthy meal that satisfies and doesn't leave you feeling heavy. The hummus wrap and peanut butter/banana flat bread is the best!!! I'm super understanding when it comes to service jobs because I've worked a few. In fact I worked at a tropical smoothie for a little over two years so I know how stressful it can be. But I pulled up to this location, and the drive through worker seemed annoyed to be there. When I got my smoothie it was really grainy, and flavorless. My food was smashed and soggy, and my sides were bruised. I went back because my order was expensive, and asked for it to be remade. The cashier was apologetic and explained that they were training new employees. I appreciated the cashier working with me but I wish that they would make sure it was made correct the first time. read more

This is by far and away the worst place I have ever seen managed. As I waited for my food because it was pretty busy, I saw three different times when they, the workers, couldn't figure out who ordered what food, and ended up giving the food away to people just waiting around. I heard once with my own ears one worker tell another confused worker to just give some smoothies to someone in line cause they didn't know who's they were. Went for lunch, the service was great and quick! I had a hard time deciding on what to get and the employee (Morgan) gave great recommendations. The food was really good and the smoothies are delicious! Try the Bahama mama smoothie and honestly you can't go wrong with any food choice! The employees were so nice. food is great and smoothies are good, but customer service there is not good. some people were nice but most of the people were extremely rude and impatient when taking orders in the lobby. when i walked up to the register, i was not greeted at all in any type of way not even a hi how are you what can i get for you she just sat there and waited for me to place my order. then once i sat down another lady came up to the register to continue taking orders, she seemed in about her 40's and she had the worst attitude to the customers that i've ever seen. she had no patience with people taking a little bit long to place their order and was just rude to all the people and was not helpful or kind. would not recommend going here unless you wanna get treated by a person with a rude attitude and feel rushed and pressured and belittled. read more
