Really like the smoothies here, but then again they're hard to mess up. Last time I was there I ordered one with half sugar and they made me one with zero sugar. This time around I ordered a Thai Chicken wrap with a side of Baked Lays. My wrap contained ZERO chicken and more than a little rotten lettuce. By the time I discovered this I was already at home, so I called the store. Robbie/Ronnie who answered was quick to apologize and said he would send me a gift card to cover the cost of this meal and my next one. He didn't ask how much this meal cost me though ($11+, Robbie/Ronnie), so I'm guessing the gift card will be $10. We'll see. I'm still hungry. All in all I think 3 stars is a generous rating. Update 8/18/18- I went by today to use the gift card I received in the mail. (With the gift card came a personal apology letter from the franchisee, which impressed me.) I ordered the exact same meal I'd ordered last time and the difference was distinct. I got a great meal and lots of chicken in my Thai Chicken bowl. So far I haven't found any rotten lettuce. The Good Stuff: Great hours: 7a-9p M-F and open weekends (including Sunday!!). You can order on line and totally beat the line (when there is one). Haven't tried the food but they seem to have a wide variety of sandwiches and wraps that look pretty good. Lastly, they seem to be pretty health conscious, which is a rare find in TX--let alone San Angelo, TX. Did I mention there's a drive thru? Not so good: I've given their smoothies a few tries now being that it's been insanely hot out. Disappointed every time. They're definitely icy but that's about what they taste like. Ice with a slight hint of fruit. Don't know about you but $10 for two cups of pink blended ice to me seems like a bit of a rip-off. With all the smoothie places popping up in town, I'd save this place as a last resort if you're dying for a cold drink that's not a cup of pure sugar. read more

By far my favorite smoothie place in the area. I've come here pretty consistently since staying in the area. Their smoothies are blended well and taste delicious. I love that you're able to add in protein to them. They also have a wide range of food on their menu to include smoothie bowls, quesadillas, wraps, and my personal favorite- flatbread sandwiches. The staff is super friendly each time we come in. Grant the owner is great and offered us a free açaí bowl (which was tasty!) I'm surprised at the lack of customers that come in. We ordered and sat down to wait on our food and drinks. Halfway through eating the meal, we were informed the cafe isn't open for dining on the weekends. Paid $6.59 for this quesadilla & there was hardly any cheese on it. My food was cold-- it was like eating cardboard, the tomato looked gross & I'm not sure why anyone would even attempt to serve that to a guest/guests. This is just upsetting, the quesadilla was supposed to be my dinner & it was more of an appetizer. I will not be going back anytime soon. read more

I went here after a workout today and was really surprised. The employees had great attitudes and were extremely respectful. I order a strawberry -banana smoothie with a whey protein add on for around five bucks. The smoothie was good and was a decent size. I plan on coming back for the great service alone. read more

This was one of the worst experiences we have EVER had. We go to tropical smoothie all the time in our town, and I get that this location is new so we weren't mad that our smoothies weren't made correctly. However, we kindly asked to switch to something else since ours wasn't made right. When we did so, the entire staff (about 10 people just standing around) crowded up front to hear us ask, and then treated us like garbage for asking. All the while the only adult/manager was sitting in the corner. Each employee was horrid, none understand how to treat a customer whatsoever, and I worked in the service industry serving tables for 10 years. Absolutely will NEVER EVER be going back. Honest review, since people like to sugar coat. Don't waste your hard earned money here. read more

Great food/great smoothies. Customer Service needs some work. I was in the Knickerbocker rd San Angelo, Texas. store, during what appeared to be a slow Sunday around 11am. I was there for about 8 mins before any of the 5 employees present, introduced themselves or offered to take my order. Finally the drivethru gentleman stepped away from his station at the window and took my order. No "hello's" when I walked in the door, no "thank you" or "have a nice day as I left". Just blank stares from the employees. A somewhat uncomfortable experience for me. The first of its kind. Not the southern hospitality I was expecting to get at this Texas location. I would suggest improving the overall customer service skills of the employees. Every employee should be greeted upon entry and given service as soon as possible. They also failed to include my side of fruit with my order. I was on my lunch break so I could not go back to retrieve it. read more
