Went in for food and smoothie on two separate occasions within a week and I must say I don't know who runs this place but they run it very poorly the cooks take forever making your food. I was in there both times for over 30 minutes waiting for my food to be made and watched people who ordered after me get their stuff before me. I placed an order of three peanut butter flatbread sandwiches and they sent them in plastic cups. When I called and spoke with the manager Addison. She said that they do not use plastic cups and she had suggested that the DoorDash driver may have switched the items in the bag. I did Research and on tropical smoothie website and right there on the website is the exact same plastic containers they send our food in. I tried to call the Manager back and they sent my call to voicemail. Very disappointed, poor management skills, never will go back tropical smoothie again. I think it is absolutely ridiculous for this Manager not to own up to a mistake, but to blame DoorDash driver. Shame on her. read more

When I was in Florida, I decided to check out tropical smoothie again, I was able to order ahead, and have my dad pick it up on his way home from work. I had the avocado smoothie, which was awesome so flavorful and fresh. I also added whey protein to add the full feeling. Since they had food I wanted to try that as well, I ended up getting the Buffalo chicken wrap, it was very tasty a spicy but not over bearing. Whoever runs this tropical needs to look into who they hire. You got employees that are shutting things down before you close. My sick sister wanted a smoothie so a left immediately knowing I had time for them to make a smoothie when I got here. Yall got the sorriest laziest crew I've seen. This is mine and my fiancé's go to location. The staff are always very friendly and polite...the orders are made quickly, efficiently, taste fresh, and are always correct...if they happen to make a mistake (I overheard a gentleman say he had ordered something a different way) they apologize and remake it without question. We both enjoy their fresh food options, but many all we want are our smoothies (2-3x week minimum)...we always order the peanut paradise with whey protein and the mocha madness...they are DELICIOUS! I went in tropical smoothie@1989 Federal hwy. I attempted to use my points(812) and was having issues so I asked the employee for assistance. I never used my points and when I checked back my points was gone and I only had 72 points. I contacted the store and spoke with a young man who said he was the manager and his name was Steve(highly doubt). Steve refused to tell me who the owner is and refuse to assist me saying just spend more money to get more points again I've seen the owner come on the store and he's not friendly. ummmmm. we placed a curbside order just to find out curbside apparently means "go inside and get your own food!" 5 minutes after the order was expected to be delivered to our car, we decided to go inside and check it out, even though the order was SUPPOSED TO be delivered to the car upon entry, the first thing we saw were two workers leaning on the counter, on their phones, munching away. nobody asked us what we needed, they just gave us dirty looks anyways, we asked one worker who wasn't on her phone (shout out queen) and she found our order sitting on the counter the smoothies are good tho, so one star. it's so bad, i want to give you a zero. but that's not possible, so i give you a ONE. read more

Ordered the Chicken Thai Salad with Beyond meat Veggie Chicken. There was no extra charge for the substitute, see receipt. I also ordered water and was charged $2 for a bottle of DaSani. Needed something to snack on for the day because I was out and about on the road and decided to drop into this cute little place. Cheap prices and pretty good wraps. Tried the Jamaican jerk and Thai chicken wraps. Both were delicious. The Jamaican jerk was too spicy for my taste and the Thai chicken was sweet and crunchy at first but all the spice was at the bottom of the wrap that I couldn't handle. Husband and I eat there several times a week. The smoothies are probably the most popular item on the menu, judging by what we see people get. They are made with fresh fruits and veggies, yogurt in some, icy cold, and you can get several sorts of supplements added. Hubby always gets a smoothie with his meal. They are BIG!!! This place is great for fresh, healthy, and nutritious food. Wraps, flatbread melts, salads, soups. Every couple of months, several new items will come out. You can eat vegetarian with ease, but there are chicken and steak items too. They also have vegetarian (SOY??) "chiken" strips you can order as a substitute (extra $). Veggie hummus wrap is my favorite; an abundance of ingredients, and very very tasty. Other than a bag of chips or yummy cookies, you basically cannot get unhealthy food here. Tropical decor, Jimmy Buffet type music but not too loud. Several outdoor tables if you wish. Very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. They are open late enough to be able to go at supper time. Staff are cheerful and super friendly, always a smile. We have never had an item that we did not like. Happy to return here often. read more

Out of all the places I've been, this easily takes first place for the worst service award. I have been to this particular Tropical Smoothie only twice and both times they have managed to forget my order. I waited awhile to see if they were possibly just taking their time to make my food but I soon realized that was not the case once 30 minutes had passed and my food was still nowhere in sight. I then went up to the cashier and mentioned that I ordered 25 minutes ago and the people who ordered after me had already gotten their food. She told me to not worry and that it will be on it's way. I then waited another 15 minutes and still hadn't gotten my food so I went to the person making the food and asked if he could make my order since I've been waiting awhile. As I continued to wait another 5 minutes for it, the man standing next to me commented that we could've sat down at a nice restaurant and still have gotten our food faster. Once I finally received my food, I sat down only to discover that it was burnt. At that point I just ate it and left. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in the area, avoid this place at all costs. read more
