I am absolutely appalled by what I witnessed today at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I came in with my 3-year-old daughter and ordered a smoothie and some food. I simply asked for another cup so I could share my smoothie with my child without drinking from the same one. The employee kindly accommodated my request. To my shock, about ten minutes later, I learned that this employee was being sent home over this. This is completely unacceptable. Punishing staff for providing reasonable, customer-focused service -- especially something as small and harmless as an extra cup -- is beyond ridiculous. This incident has left me with a terrible impression of how you treat your employees, and frankly, it's disgusting behavior from management. You need to do much better. read more
