Service was good but this smoothie is awful and for $8 it made it even worse. I got a strawberry banana smoothie and added peanut butter and it tastes like peanut butter and water. I was doing some shopping in the plaza so my husband has stopped at this Cafe before while i was shopping and had a Hurricane smoothie he let me taste and it very good, so i decided to grab one for both of us on my way home. Once i walked up to enter it smelled really good. The place was clean and there were stickers on the floor for social distancing. I looked up and saw they had the hurricane smoothie as a advertisement as a pair & save with their new Cajun shrimp wrap. So i ordered two of those meals with kale slaw as a side for both. Once i checked into Yelp while i was waiting for my order i saw a 25% coupon pop up so i asked if i could use it since it since i had already checked out. The gentleman said he would get his manager. Kass the manager came up and i explained about the coupon , she advised she had never seen nor heard of a Yelp coupon. So i proceeded to show it to her. She still insisted she had never heard of it. So i explained that once i pressed use it now it would activate . She stated since it was no bar code to it she could NOT honor it. She offered a 10% discount on the meal as a option since she stated there was nothing she could scan that would allow 25% off. I took the 10% discount but if the Yelp coupon is not honored remove it and if it is honored explain that to the staff . It almost felt like she thought i was lying even after showing her the coupon. Always a pleasure to get food from this TSC. The staff are always pleasant, the food is always ready in time and the order is correct.

Great location , horrid service . Walked in and 2 ppl were cleaning. No acknowledgement of customers entering. They continued cleaning and eventually saw me waiting. The guy mopping the floor literally stopped mopping and came directly to the register. No hands washed , no hello, nothing. I didn't want my food contaminated in ANY way, and I definitely didn't want someone making it that clearly hates their job. I let them know I was good on the order and to have a wonderful day. I work close by and come to this location twice a month to grab to go lunch. I never have to wait more than 5-7 minutes for my order. The food options are wraps and sandwiches. I usually get the Buffalo chicken wrap. It's served hot and with a good amount of sauce and comes with a bag of chips. For the price, it's really a lot of food. All of the smoothies I've tried here are good, but I'm not a picky smoothy drinker. There is plenty of parking but the lot is usually pretty busy, especially around lunch time. It has taken me forever to try this place and with so many popping up around town, they must be pretty damn good. I came in to just get a smoothie, and I left with one along with a flat bread that had everything I love on it. The Peanut butter banana crunch flat bread, is one of their breakfast items and it's as delicious as it sounds. It has peanut butter, banana, granola, and honey, so I was sold! Unfortunately there wasn't any granola, so all that goodness without the crunch. So hopefully my next visit will come with granola in stock. I had the paradise point smoothue, which had strawberries, bananas, & pineapple. Yes it was very good, I'm a sucker for the strawberry-banana combo. What impressed me was the huge variety on the menu. Salads, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and flatbreads. Customer service was awful:( The person at the register was slouching over the register on their phone (even though it was busy inside) before taking our order--and they were in no rush to take our order. No hello or anything. And when our smoothies were ready, we had no idea because no one ever called our name so they were just sitting there for 10 minutes. This TSC at Orlando Ave is Horrible. I ordered a banana chia smoothie through the app to pick up and it took them almost 40 minutes to get it ready. I could hear the manager shouting at the employees as to why the order wasn't ready yet. The manager did apologize and handed me the smoothie saying sorry but they put too much ice in it. Huh? This is a great spot to go to after the gym! They have some great smoothies and definitely enjoyed mine. They also have sandwiches and breakfast food, which is great. A lot of healthy choices and a great spot to just relax after such an invigorating workout. I was told today 4/22 that I wasn't able to use the 25% check in more than once.. yet when you come to Yelp and check in the offer pops up. I have been getting 2-3 smoothies each week since this location opened. So much so that I even downloaded their app to make ordering easier. Today I ordered a smoothie, went in to pick it up and was told they were out of Splenda. She said they'd been out almost a week. They weren't sure how to credit $ back to my CC since I'd paid on the app so I had to get one with no sweetener. Mgr said his wife had it in her car and they'll have it tomorrow. I still cannot quite believe that I have to write this review because what happened was so ridiculous that I had a hard time believing what was actually going on. I went in this past Wednesday around 8:15 to get dinner. They close at 9pm. When I went in the young lady at the counter informed me that "the oven is off for the night, but we can make you a smoothie" I told her I came in for dinner and asked if they always shut the oven off so they couldn't serve food 45 minutes before close and she said "yes." (Mind you I tried calling in but nobody answered the phone). I asked for a manager and when the "manager" Crystal came around the corner she said "yes" Now for the best part: I asked Crystal if they always shut the oven down so early so I know for next time when I am trying to pick up food from a restaurant that they close everything down an hour early and I shouldn't waste my time. She says "no but it's malfunctioning tonight." I explained that statement was funny because this young lady just told me you shut it down early every night. The young girl just stood there caught of guard and smiled. Crystal at this point (in front of an unhappy customer) LITERALLY LOOKS AT HER COWORKER AND SAYS "WHAT THE FUCK, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU SAY THAT?" I know staffing is tough right now, but this is who you have running your restaurant? To make matters worse the only reason I know her name is because I asked 4 times while she walked away and ignored me. She finally shouted it from the back. The icing on the cake: I have tried calling the "general manager and catering consultant" Dunyia Farha twice by dialing the number on her business card. She doesn't answer, and her voicemail box isn't set up yet. What kind of a general manager doesn't have a voicemail box set up yet? Probably one that knows exactly what type of customer service is being provided and doesn't want to deal with it. By far the most ridiculous experience I have ever had. There was only one small order I had of mine, and I know this because I watch them give this individual the wrong items for their order. At One point they had forgotten to even make my quesadilla. This store has made a remake before so I know how it works and when I tell you these two employees gave me the most difficult time. They both were very rude and yelling at me about my drink saying it was half gone and it's been a few hours since I came in, they took the drink and looked at it and said NO !! I was extremely embarrassed and I didn't understand why they were talking to me that way. The drink was most definitely not half gone and that's why I brought the drink back in the store. I'm a regular customer of Tropical Smoothie, but have never been to this one. And I never will! Their service is horrible. The employees are dishonest and lie, especially Indy, if that is even his or her name. They spilled my drink on my shirt and pants. All I asked was that they cover the cost of cleaning and if it isn't able to be cleaned they replace them as they were brand new. Indy (claiming to be a "manager") refused saying "shit happens." He then became rude and condescending so I asked for the manager. Again, he refused. I told him to cancel and refund my order. He refused. Another young woman came up front claiming she is the actual manager. After initially denying to refund my order saying it's against their policy, she agreed. Since she did not know how to work the register (manager???) it took 20 minutes to refund. As I was leaving an employee yelled out "Thank you.Don't ever come back." Obviously I wasn't planning to and encourage you to not go in either. Too bad it's an absentee franchise owner who is not able to be contacted. read more

If I could give it less than a star I would. My husband went in for a cup of coffee and after paying for it the cashier went to lunch and didn't get the coffee. Other people went in and were served and my husband was ignored. After about 10 mins of this he says to the guy serving that he never got his coffee and after checking the receipt he said he forgot! And without even apologizing turned his back and got him the coffee. I really don't enjoy giving bad reviews but I just can't lie about such blatantly bad service when an apology would've cost them nothing and wouldve made an enormous difference. I saw this place since its inception because I go to the LA Fitness a few doors down. I'm glad this place finally open here and they seemed to be doing amazing. The establishment was very clean and organized. I like the vibrant decor and the open space concept. There are a few tables to dine in and plenty of counter spaces. They were extremely friendly and greeted everyone who came into the door and were very engaging. The service was prompt and I didn't have to wait for a long time for my order. The menu has so many options from wraps, flatbreads, sandwiches, and bowls. There's a whole page dedicated to smoothies. The idea of allowing you to customize your meal is there and this is a great place for those who like healthy options and like things their way. They offer vegan and gluten-free options as well. They have all-day breakfast and a small kids menu. I saw a sign at the door that promoted 1/2 off breakfast and smoothies from 7-9 AM during February. Definitely should take advantage of this! I had ordered the 1/2 Tropical Chicken Salad and the Chia Banana Boost (w/ strawberries) to go. I was pleased watching them making my smoothie; the counter top was pristine and they use a clean spoon/ tong to pick up the ingredients. The smoothie came in a large cup, it may have been bigger than a 24 oz size. It tasted delicious on this warm day and the texture was smooth. Unfortunately, they may have heard me wrong when I made the order. I ended up with a Turkey Apple Dijon instead but it was too late when I got back to the office and saw the sandwich. It really wasn't a deal breaker since the smoothie was so huge. I gave the sandwich to my colleague who says it was delicious ( due to my pregnancy, I can't have processed meat atm but will definitely try this in a few months). I had called to inquire what had happened and they were very apologetic which I appreciate, given that it wasn't anyone's fault really. Hence the 5 stars review. Overall, I like the vibe of this place and like what they have to offer. It will definitely become one of my regular lunch spots post gym.
