Upon arrival, I was slightly disappointed with the signs out front advertising Hershey's ice cream. Not knocking the ice cream itself since it is good, but if you advertise yourself as a creamery, it's usually something local and not a brand that's delivered in bulk to many states. The interiors are cute and service was friendly enough from the girls serving. I went with a scoop of the coconut ice cream. It was really good and creamy, and not like most bulk produced ice cream that tends to melt quickly. Overall, I'd rate it a 4/5 which is about as good of a rating you can get for a more widely distributed ice cream brand like Hershey's. Prices are very reasonable, so if you don't mind that the ice cream isn't from a local creamery, I suggest a visit to Coastal Cafe & Creamery for Hershey's ice cream treats.

And then came the funniest part of the visit. She told us one of the flavors was caramelized pineapple... and somehow I heard Spider-Man. LOL. I have absolutely no idea how my brain got from caramelized pineapple to Spider-Man, but once I said it, the whole family lost it. We were all cracking up. The price is right for all the options here. Every single option available to the menu is sold for under $10 (unless you add numerous toppings to your item) and you get a lot for what you get. 3 scoops for $7 in 2026 is a pretty great deal! The ice cream options are over abundant. They have 20+ options of your typical flavors (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate), but also have other ice cream options that they change out from time to time. In my visit, I got the Superman flavor and gram cracker ice cream flavor. The Ambiance is old school inside with old benches and table, but not an uncomfortable feel by any means. The service is good with no complaints. But more importantly: it's good ice cream at a local shop with great prices by good people. Doesn't get more Greenville than that!
