    Best rooftop bar!!

All inclusive with great staff! Nice variety of restaurants- make your reservations! Pools and beaches are peaceful! Our third trip here and the food has improved significantly!

I am absolutely in love with this All-Inclusive Adults Only resort and can't wait to go back (already booked another trip). I have to say that the reviews are definitely right when they say the food is absolutely amazing. The service was phenomenal and everything about the facilities was amazing! My favorite restaurants were Los Abrazos (Steakhouse) and El Suspiro (Seafood). The pictures are from these restaurants Tip - make sure to make reservations as soon as possible for dinner, they fill up quick

Best all-inclusive resort I've ever been to. 5 star food w so many options. Wonderful customer service from the time you get dropped off till the time you depart. Already making plans on returning.

Just visited for a second time during the holidays! I still think the resort is beautiful and the service is wonderful. They offer lots of delicious food - lobster tail, filet mignon, chilaquiles, Mexican buffet night - the list goes on and on! I really wish we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve good spots at the pool. I also don't enjoy having to make dinner reservations. This place would be perfect if it were a bit more relaxed. Hopefully the resort will consider guest feedback.

Atelier is a beautiful resort from the moment you drive up the lush path. Very secure area with two security checkpoints. Once you arrive, you're immediately welcomed with scented face towels and a glass of champagne. Fitness options: 24/7 gym and nearby Alba serves protein smoothies and healthy salads. They offered some fitness classes. I briefly joined the Vitality Stretching (aka yoga) but found it to be sub-standard. Meals: Atelier's AI restaurants were fantastic and was one of the reasons we booked here. They have an on site Michelin star restaurant, Maria Delores, but we did not try it. Utilize the online website to make dinner reservations and check out menu options. https://atpm.app.adh.com/Dining/ListEstablishment?typeDining=RESTAURANTE Los Abrazos, Takeshi, and Kopai book up quickly so snag a spot asap. Reservations are available for the next upcoming 3 days . Snag a booking in the morning as soon as the following 3rd day's reservation opens up. Los Abrazos - A family favorite! 5th floor with amazing rooftop views that is great for pictures! Dress code here is resort elegant. Steakhouse with a salad bar that had blue cheese butter! I had a bite of the New York steak and rib eye - def preferred the New York steak. The grilled shrimp was plump. Takeshi - Our second favorite spot. The sushi here was surprisingly better than Kopai's given that Kopai is a Japanese restaurant and Takeshi serves a variety of Asian dishes. The chicken Tikka Masala had bone in chicken that was so tender and robust flavor! Yuzu cocktail was refreshing. Kopai - Camelado (coffee jello vanilla ice cream and condensed milk) - so good that I had a second order! Banana rolls (thinly sliced plantains with cream cheese was dessert like). Avoid the pad Tha - too sweet and noodles were gummy. Cilento - Serves Italian food. My son's fave dish was the lobster fusilli. Limencello dessert was beautiful and delicious! El Suspiro - Lobster! Need I say more? Limon y Sol - Good lunch option for chicken bao and chicken skewers. Portions are tapas sized. Can order for pool side service. Mercado 19 - A robust variety of breakfast buffet options. Room service takes about 30 mins. The chicken and shrimp quesadilla were tasty. It was very convenient to utilize the app to order as we were headed back from our excursion to have lunch waiting for us. AquaWorld and BD Experience stands throughout the resort - Many tour options at an additional cost. We booked a swimming with whale shark tour. The boat ride is over 1 hour each way and you may get sea sick. Had about 7 other boats circling the same whale shark so it can feel a bit chaotic. However once you're in the water , the whale sharks experience is breath taking. Cons - Activities are first come, first serve with limited space. This created unnecessary anxiety and resulted in guests lining up early for activities. They had an Acrobatic show that was very entertaining and worth attending! Pro tip: Get a room in building 2 if possible. It's closer to the beach and ideally located closer to most restaurants and Deseo theater room. Building 3 is furthest from beach and only has a few restaurants but it is closer to the convention center meeting rooms. We went to building three only once to go to Kopai restaurant. Within building two, rooms 1-20 and 70-90 were closer to restaurants and gym but further from pool and beach. Noisier as people walk past on the way to restaurants and gym. I'd recommend rooms 21- 69 in building twi as they were quieter and a closer walk to pools and beach. inspiro upgrade wasn't offered when we checked in but from what I could tell, it wasn't necessary. Upgrade gives you a room with a swim up pool (that's connected to your neighbors and was in the shade), cabanas with ocean view and pool access to 5th floor roof deck during the day.

Maybe the nicest place I've ever been. Everything is just perfect at the resort. The food is all unbelievable and staff goes above and beyond everywhere you go. All of the cocktails are excellent and not watered down like other all inclusives. The rooms were cleaned constantly and everything smells great everywhere. They've thought of everything and they spare no expense to make this a classy and perfect experience. Already counting down the days to go back. And Maria Dolares was one of the coolest dining experiences I've ever had!

Starting off 2025 with the best place I visited in 2024! I researched this resort on various sites and the reviews were stellar. I decided that I wanted to spend my birthday at Atelier. I booked my vacation through Delta Vacations. It included the resort accommodations, flights and transportation. The resort is absolutely stunning. Check in took a little longer than expected, but besides that, it was smooth. We were given champagne and beautifully scented towels upon arrival. The resorts smells wonderful. It was so good that I purchased a room spray version of the scent to take home. Our rooms were located in building 3 on the 4th floor. I ended up getting an ocean view king room and it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. The only complaint was the refrigerator didn't work, but I honestly never used it. The room was stocked with drinks and snacks daily. Out of all the restaurants we visited, Takeshi was my favorite. It's their Asian themed restaurant and the food was SO good. I had sushi, fried rice and an Indian dish called Rogan Josh. Our favorite pool was the "quiet pool ". We visited a few time and received stellar service from Julio. The spa was exceptional. It was really the best spa experience I've had and Ada did wonderfully on my massage. We attended a tequila tasting for an additional charge. It was fun and very informative. I really could go on and on about this wonderful resort. The food was exceptional, the beach is pristine, the drinks were great, but above all else the staff were really awesome. I cannot wait to return!

This resort of the best maintained resort I have experienced in Mexico. It's stylist with modern touches. The service is great, and everyone tries to make you comfortable and ensure you are not lacking in anything. There are great food options with something to please everyone.

This place was beyond our expectations. A bit further from the airport but worth it. From the service, to the rooms, to the restaurants and entertainment...everything was great. Loved our room and all of the special touches from the snacks and wine to the robes and slippers. Excellent view from the balcony and amazing food in the restaurants. We were obsessed with the tiramisu and had to snag another plate before departing. Would recommend this place hands down. Views everywhere and great food.

View from the deck near the lobby. Wine and Charcuterie boards are served here each night.

My wife and I just finished a wonderful 10 day vacation here. The resort was beautiful and well maintained and the staff was extremely friendly. This is our fourth time at an all inclusive. We got a basic room, but I can honestly say that it felt like the nicest room we have stayed in yet. The pool was very nice although the one draw back is the stiff competition for seating near the pool. I would absolutely recommend trying a stay here.

To be honest, we can't imagine spending New Year's Eve anywhere else. Both times have been absolutely fantastic; the team didn't skip a beat. The resort is stunning and impeccably maintained, but what truly makes this place a gem is its incredible team and vibrant atmosphere. Entertainment The entertainment is top-notch, with a variety of high-energy performances each night. We were absolutely blown away by the Freddie Mercury tribute act. The resemblance was uncanny, and his energy was simply amazing--he had the whole place rocking! It's shows like that that make the evenings so memorable. The Heart of the Resort: The Staff As wonderful as the resort itself is, the staff are the real reason we started planning our next trip back before we even left. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and are the key to the entire experience. We spent most of our days at the Excellence Club pool, and our waiter, Floricel, was a true standout. He was wildly attentive and responsive, ensuring our glasses were never empty. He didn't just take orders; he helped us discover the most incredible new drinks and his fun, engaging personality truly made our days by the pool so much more enjoyable. Our concierges, Edgar and David, were unbelievably helpful. From the moment we arrived, they helped us navigate our time at the resort, making reservations and ensuring every detail was handled. Having a dedicated concierge team like them is so important; they remove all the stress of planning and make you feel completely prioritized and cared for throughout your entire stay. We truly felt like their only guests. We also have to give a shout-out to Cesar at the lobby bar. We were so impressed that he recognized us from our previous trip, and of course, we remembered him! He is exceptionally attentive, and man, that guy is fast. He's a true professional. Last but certainly not least, a special mention goes to the man running the pizza oven at the main pool. He deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his craft. He was just killing it all day, every day, serving up perfect pizzas with a smile. It's this level of service and genuine warmth from the staff that makes Excellence Playa Mujeres feel like a home away from home. We came back home so refreshed and can't wait to return.

The added perks like the private beach area, exclusive pools, upgraded room amenities, and personalized service made the experience feel even more special. I was very impressed by the food, which exceeded my expectations for an all-inclusive resort. Every restaurant we tried was delicious, but my personal favorite was Magna. We were also told that the lobster house does not serve lobster tails from march to June due to them being out of season. The entertainment was also enjoyable, with live music, themed shows, and fun evening activities that kept the resort lively. Our favorite show was the legends show! They have many pools to choose from with some being more calm and others more being more social. We spent a lot of time at main pool 1, and johnatan was an amazing bartender! I especially loved the beach here, it was very swimmable and the water was soo clear. I would easily give this resort 5 stars and would return in the future.

After asking the staff if our seats would be secured while we went to lunch and the answer was a big yes that our preferred seats were saved. We come back from lunch to find our seats taken. Who knows what kinda stuff might happen. I'd highly recommend you resolve this issue as I don't see myself coming back here. Cheers UPDATE: I happened to run in to our original friend Freddy and he completely helped turn it all around. We spent basically our entire vacation at the Jungle pool! We paid approximately $17,000 for this vacation, so it was disappointing that throughout the resort there were several instances where staff seemed to be expecting additional tips, creating an awkward atmosphere. I understand that some employees may not have known our package included gratuities, but it still left us feeling uncomfortable. We have previously stayed at Secrets Akumal and Secrets The Vine, and both experiences were exceptional. We love the Secrets brand and were excited to try this property. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. Some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level of service was inconsistent throughout our stay, and we encountered multiple situations where staff members were unhelpful, unfriendly, or simply rude. As Preferred Club guests, we checked in through the Preferred Lounge. One of our rooms had a significant mosquito problem. When I asked the Preferred concierge if anything could be done, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. Only after I continued to press the issue was I told the room could be fumigated. The concierge took down the requested date and time, but when we followed up the next day, no one had any record of the request, and we had to start the process all over again. The food experience was also inconsistent. Our first dinner at El Patio was excellent, but when we returned another evening, much of the food was overcooked and dry. One of the cocktails we ordered was noticeably missing sweetness. We knew this because we had been ordering the same drink throughout the resort. When we politely mentioned it to our server, he repeatedly insisted nothing was wrong with it. My husband suggested it might simply need more syrup. Instead of taking the drink back to have it corrected, the server brought a bottle of syrup to the table. His demeanor throughout the interaction was cold and dismissive. Another disappointing experience occurred on our final morning. My parents went to Market Café for breakfast by themselves and sat patiently for quite some time without anyone taking their drink order. My mother eventually approached a server to ask for assistance. That employee spoke with the server assigned to their section, but no one ever came to the table. My mother had to seek help a second time before receiving service. Ironically, near the end of the meal, the assigned server finally appeared and asked how everything was. The entire situation felt bizarre and completely avoidable. These experiences were surprising because they are not what we have come to expect from the Secrets brand or from a five-star resort. We don't know whether the service issues were related to the fact that gratuities were already included in our package or if there were other factors involved. We would have gladly tipped additional staff members for exceptional service if gratuities had not already been included. While the property itself is beautiful, the inconsistent service significantly impacted our overall experience. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we would not return to this resort.

There are pros and cons to this resort. I think the experience really is per person/family because…read morelots of reviews seem to differ. I liked my stay in the beginning, but closer to the end I wasn't so impressed. Leading up, their Instagram page and the online website really hype up the place. We chose this location for our Babymoon with our first child (1.5 yrs old). I'm 5 months pregnant so the variety of food, pools, and fun for little one was a big appeal. Resort & staff: The resort is beautiful and clean, and the staff are very friendly. But some staff don't seem to know what's going on or how to help, while others are going through the motions. When we asked the concierge for directions to the Kids Club, she sent us to "PB"/lower level where the staff only was. This happened a lot as we saw many other guests saying the same thing "she told us to come to PB". Another staff member didn't know how to get to the Kids Club even though it was located right behind the kids water, a few steps away from where he was working. Kids & teen club: The activities and shows are really only worth it if your child is age 3 and up. You can't take your 1 or 2 year old into the clubs unless it's during family time, which are in the mornings during certain time. The one time we were able to go, no one was there. They were at the kids water park instead. Activities: On the app, they have a lot going on. But nothing actually goes on. Activities run behind schedule and the events you'd actually want to go to don't start until late at night. This didn't work for us most of the time but we just did some later naps for our babe to stay up late. The Circus and Magic shows seem to be the highlight be we're only available during the week. Other days the shows we planned to go to would be canceled morning of, and there would only be DJ's or karaoke. Food: A good variety but everything is pretty meh. Great for kids though as there is something for everyone! Check the app as certain restaurants are closed and others open. Dress code is semi strict for men. Reservations for Hibachi are a must! App can be finicky. Best eats for us: Fusion and Tres Colores Pool: All pools were very kid friendly, especially Mermaid. There was a little "beach" area to walk in and the alternative side had a little splash pool. There were splash pad areas at both pools. Mermaid pool appeared to have the younger kids while Sealegs had more teens and adults. Staff become a lot more friendly if you tip. Room: We had the Junior Suite? At the main building on level 4. There was a mini leak above the fan that we called in and put a towel down. They seemed to have "checked it out" because the towel was gone but it wasn't patched and it continued to drip the rest of our stay. We were worried because it was right above where we put our toddlers crib. 2 nights before checkout there was another leak by the A/C system or whatever it is, right in front of the bathroom door. The leak was spontaneous but a lot of water poured out. We called it in again and they said they would "check it out" again. We had to put 2 big towel on the ground and someone definitely checked it out because they just pushed the towels to the side. No patch work was done and it continued to pour. When I woke up at 5:00 am there was water from the bathroom door all the way to where the end of the closet was. As a 5 month pregnant lady, stepping in this and the potential to slip is absolutely upsetting. Even more upsetting that we made them aware of our room's problems 3x but they made no effort to fix it or to potentially put us in another room. We told them again at check-out and our concierge seemed to already be aware of where the leak was, and just apologized. Nothing more. Bali Beds: We reserved a Sealegs Bali Bed before our arrival. Keep your receipts! At check-out they tried to say we owed them an extra charge of $150. We showed our email and they had to call someone to double check. Took about 15 minutes. At the end of the day it is a tourist destination, so they do what they can. We spoke to some other families (with kids ages 5 and older) who said they love it here and have come back. For me, I personally wouldn't recommend and would try a different resort.

The resort was clean (very clean), things worked as intended, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful, and the food was good! It always helps when you're in Mexico and you get good weather (which we did) but these folks had the grounds and resort, itself, firing on all cylinders. My down-rankings were in the lack of daily engagement and night-time activities. Besides a massive party thrown for the superbowl, I didn't notice any nighttime activites (could be my fault for not looking into it more) and the daily activities existed but the staff didn't really try very hard to pull people "into the fight", if you will. Having said that, these luxuries that I've seen at other brands did not take away from the wonderful experience that my friends and I had!

Half the restaurants were closed because of "low season." And, if you're looking for a romantic evening sipping champagne by the pool, foorget it. The "adult" pool, part of the "premium" upgrade, closes at 8 pm. Yes, EIGHT PM. With so many great alternatives in Cancun this is one to avoid. What a joke. An expensive joke.

We set our expectations high for this place considering all the reviews/ratings on Trip Advisor,…read moreGoogle, Facebook, and Yelp. Adults only, couples only, all-inclusive resort - that's a big yes! We hadn't been to a resort in a long time and were very stoked for our visit in August 2025. As is the standard for the Excellence brand of resorts - the staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Instantly, our needs were taken care of - the room wasn't ready, but we were provided with an opportunity to change and immediately take advantage of our stay. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

The morning breakfast buffet at Le Bisou has an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and sushi. The morning breakfast buffet at Isla Trattoria offers more traditional Mexican dishes. The ribeye at Lupita Steakhouse is a must try. The Tequila Experience is a steal at $50, which includes Casa Dragones and Clase Azul. The cabana rentals are only $60 for the entire day and come with a coconut drink, mimosa bar, and fresh fruits. We will be back!!!

Second visit and another GREAT vacation! We have been fortunate to travel to some amazing…read moredestinations and this place is special. It's fairly new and a lot to love here. But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!…read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.

We rarely had an issue during our Christmas stay but when we did it was satisfactorily handled. The grounds, to include the sister family resort, are expansive and worth checking out. However, we did appreciate the adult only side that we stayed on. The food was good, we never left a meal disappointed, although we had our favorites. The drinks were plentiful with several top shelf options. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and appreciated the laid back atmosphere, focus on reducing waste, and the slower pace the resort offers. Probably the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. The swim up pool connected to room was a perfect place to enjoy room service breakfast and have a morning dip and start the day right. And a great place to cool down at night long after the main pool closed. We had great service at the main pool from Brayan. He remembered us and our drink order. We purposely sat in his area both days because the service was spectacular. The food was not amazing but that's to be expected at all Inclusives. What was most frustrating was the reservation system or lack there of. The butler service wasn't very helpful and the website would say places were open and you'd show up and they were actually closed. Our favorite meal was at Portofino on the Grand Palladium side. If looking for a truly relaxing adult getaway TRS Coral is the spot.
