The hammock areas that are spread out throughout the park that hang over the pool water.

Beautiful day! The staff here is always willing and eager to make sure your state is the best. Very easy to get around the area. Plenty of bars to get your favorite beverage. Outstanding multiple venues to eat at. They all offer something special, all of the food is excellent. You will never have a bad meal. The table top grill is the best place for breakfast due to its wide variety. You can order poolside for food. Sometimes it does take a while to get it. The main large pool is heated. They also do games and other entertainment and that is true. There are nightly shows and dance music played after 9pm.

Great resort for couples or girls' trips. Very clean, spacious, and romantic place for relaxation. There are musicians playing saxophone or other instruments at different corners. Lobby bar, swimming up bar and multiple restaurants, including Japanese and French restaurants. The seabass in French restaurant is great, must try. The room has beautiful indoor jacuzzi. Good in room dining with table service. Love the day bed in the balcony. You can also book the first floor with access to the pool from your room. The resort has night club, but not open in winter.

I visited Cancun for the first time, and I'm so glad I stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres. Our stay was for 7 days in a Junior Suite with the Excellence Club upgrade. Excellence Club: The upgrade gives you perks that, in my opinion, are worth the splurge. You get a private beach area, a private pool, exclusive access to the Magna restaurant, and a lounge bar. In your room, they add fresh flowers, sparkling wine, and an upgraded mini bar. You also get a different room service menu and a hydrotherapy session per person. Staff: Absolutely every staff member gave us phenomenal service. Many returning guests said the staff is why they came back. Some other resorts are more technologically advanced, but Excellence is top tier for its service. Someone is always checking in, and anything you need is taken care of right away. Pools/Beach: There are several pools, including a main pool with a swim-up bar. I called this the party area because it has music and afternoon activities/games. My favorite spot to lounge was near the "lazy river" across from the ping pong and billiards. This area is quieter, and they also have some day beds available. People get up EARLY to save the day beds and the lounge chairs. One morning, I headed down just before 8 AM, and there were only two day beds left. People leave towels, bags, or books to save space. The resort does not allow this, but it's difficult to enforce because you can't tell if someone is away swimming or grabbing a snack somewhere. Be a nice human, and don't save a space for three hours while you're up in your room sleeping. The beach also has a lot of lounge chairs and day beds. I've visited the beach in the morning and in the afternoon around 1 PM and was able to snag a lounge chair. Both pool and beach areas are very well attended! There is someone going around every 10 - 20 minutes checking in on you to see if you need water, drinks, or food. Restaurants/Food: It is impossible to absolutely kill all food categories at a resort. I'm going to be honest, the American food was not it. I wasn't a fan of cheeseburgers, wings, or pizza. However, there were some restaurants and food items that stood out to me. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with the Kitchen Table. It's a brunch buffet, and my go-to was the made-to-order omelets, chilaquiles, and French toast. The freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing, AND be sure to order a cappuccino instead of their regular coffee. For lunch, I highly recommend the fish tacos at Lobster House or the agua chiles and the crunchy salmon tacos from Olas. You get a great view of the beach while you eat, and it's a great vibe. One of our favorite dinners was the interactive dining at Spice. This does require a reservation, and I recommend making this reservation when you check in. It's a teppanyaki-style dinner, and you're in a separate room with 10 people total. It's very intimate, and all the courses were delicious. Our favorite post-dinner hangout was at the Sports Bar. They have a small pool table and will likely have a game that you're looking to catch while you enjoy a beer or cocktail. Aroma was our go-to for our morning coffee and our nightly ice cream scoop before heading to our room. Their iced hazelnut coffee was excellent, and I loved their lemon sorbet. You also cannot go wrong with the 24/7 room service. Experiences/Show: Download the Excellence Collection app. You'll use it every day for entertainment schedules and restaurant menus and dress codes. There are daily fitness offerings like yoga, pickleball, volleyball, or Zumba and activities like Sip Wine & Paint and Cantarito painting on the beach. Some events have limited spots, so arrive early. Every Thursday is the Mexican Fiesta with mariachi and a huge buffet (and a ton of margaritas), so it's a great time. Shows we loved were the Burlesque, Elegance Circo, and the Magic Show. Seasons Transfer: If you stay 7 days, you get a free airport pick-up and drop-off. Seasons provided great instructions, and finding our driver was easy. The vehicle was comfortable with room for six. Our return trip felt hectic because of an accident that caused major traffic. We still made the flight, but I recommend requesting an earlier pick-up time just in case. Junior Suite: I still think about this bed. I took a picture of the mattress brand because I want one at home. The pillows were perfect, and they gave us four. The couch wasn't comfortable, and the TV options were limited. I wish there was a Netflix login option. I'm hoping this is part of the hotel renovation. There's a tub near the window we didn't use, but it was a nice option. The ocean-view balcony was 10/10. The bathroom has a glass door, so not super private, but the shower was huge with a rainfall head. Closet space was great, and the robes and slippers got daily use. Overall, I was very happy with our stay. It's worth the money, and I felt like I was in an episode of White Lotus when they greeted us with champagne.

Final Denial Email from the Resort

Avoid: Management instructed me to wait, then denied my injury claim I am writing this to warn future guests about the lack of safety and accountability at Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres. During my stay in late October 2025, I sustained a severe vertical root fracture (tooth #4) from biting into hard, burnt food grain in a meal provided by the resort. I reported the injury immediately to staff and spoke directly with management (Adolfo de la Torre). I was explicitly instructed by management to wait until I returned home to pursue a resolution. I followed their instructions in good faith, providing dental X-rays and professional diagnoses from my dentist in the U.S. confirming the trauma. After stalling for months, the corporate office has now issued a final denial of liability, effectively using the delay they requested as a way to avoid responsibility for my medical costs. I am appalled by the lack of concern for guest safety and the dishonest way this was handled. If you value your safety and expect a resort to stand behind their service when an accident occurs, look elsewhere. I am currently escalating this matter to the U.S. Consulate and PROFECO. #ExcellenceResorts #ExcellenceCoral #PlayaMujeres #TravelSafety #BadService

Well, I just learned I should have listened to my mother in law TEN YEARS AGO!!! My husband and I went to EPM for our 10th Anniversary in October and it was absolutely magical. We were treated like royalty the entire time. I don't think I can capture all of the great things in a normal narrative style so I'll do a Tip List instead... Tips: Travel- You can book direct to get a free airport transfer, but we priced it out and it was cheaper for us to pay for private round trip transfer through Seasons Transfers (which is the company the resort uses anyway) Don't bother with the gift shop unless you're desperate for an essential item they have. Duty free at the airport is way less expensive... Like less than half. Rooms- I'm really glad we upgraded to a swim out suite, but you may want to bring sticky notes to tell housekeeping that you're in the pool so they don't lock you out, lol There is no bidet. If that is an essential for you, come prepared with an alternative to that. Food - Check the schedule because not every restaurant is open every day. We missed out on a couple restaurants because we didn't plan properly. Magna has the best food overall, but it's only for guests with the Excellence Club upgrade. You don't have to go with Excellence Club to get a top notch experience. Che Isabelle's food as fancy as Magna and the restaurant is fancier and the Martini bar in the lobby makes a mean Espresso Martini. If you do hibachi at Spice, you can't get stuff from the sushi menu and the sushi menu has delicious food I wouldn't want to miss (Bulgogi, spring rolls, dumplings, etc ). Don't be afraid of Basmati, embrace it, love it, everything there is delicious. I was worried about it at first because we have excellent Indian restaurants near home (Metro Detroit) and it didn't smell like the distinct blend of spices I am normally greeted by when entering my local spot, but it was fantastic. My only complaint is that their chairs are really uncomfortable. I have a big ol' caboose so most chairs aren't exactly clouds, but my tiny bottomed husband agreed, they're the worst chairs in the resort. We didn't care for the breakfast buffet at Kitchen Table (Agave & Basmati) so we had breakfast at Lobster House most days. We both agreed that chilaquiles or eggs rancheros are the best breakfasts outside of Magna. Fish tacos at Oregono, seriously so good!!! Activities - Aqua Fun is a great way to get your body moving and feeling better with all the food and drinks you'll be having. Handicrafts to Share is a nice way to spend an hour and it fills up most of the days it is offered. You get to make a bracelet in the pagoda on the beach and it's nice to have a reminder of your amazing vacation that you can wear. The cocktail and cooking classes are okay, kind of disorganized and not super sanitary as they are taught outside next to Sol bar by the pool. We'll be back next fall for the in-laws 50th and I seriously can't wait...

So clean, incredible hospitality, and obviously in such a beautiful setting. There was enough variety in the food options to not get bored. Great drink options too! Our suite was gorgeous. Went for honeymoon! Highly recommend!

I've been to excellence Playa Mujeres multiple times, and it never disappoints. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating, they bend over backwards to make every single person in the resort feel welcome. Favorite restaurants are always Basmati and Las Olas, and the staff at the restaurants are always just as amazing. Also participated in some fun events this time, bag painting and the guacamole workshop. Thanks to the entire event staff, and specifically Jesus, who is perfect at his job! And our favorite bartender at the pool bar, Sergio...he is by far the most dynamic and energetic bartender... give that man a raise!!

Excellence was as majestic as the name itself! One of the best resorts in the world. Went with my girl for a week! Best staff, best food, unreal beaches, nightlife, and vibe! Highly recommend a party boat day cruise to Isla Mujeres! Once in a lifetime experience destination! Thanks for the memories Excellence and Cancun

This place is very nice and vast. First we got pick up at the airport there's 8 people on our group with different reservation and was put in different pick up van... Took 40-45min from the airport to the resort... Then when we got drop off we were welcomed by the bell desk team got our luggage down, some refreshing wet towels for our faces then was turn to a desk with some champagne waiting for us and ticket for the luggage.. Then we went straight to the front desk, as the first couple in the group we were first to check in, and the person who was checking us in said room was ready and then she offered if we want a suite? So we're like yeah that would be great she just wait at the lobby for a bit... then after 10-15min she said she's still checking on the upgrade she said go have some lunch for now... so we did... Then our group start arriving but rooms where not available yet because their suite is not ready yet, so we all ate together and came back to the front desk at 2:45. When everyone check in EVERYONE after us got the upgrade BESIDES us the first one who checked and I'm like wait what? We end up not getting the upgrade that we were willing to pay for but everyone after us got the free upgrade? And I'm like how did that happened? I had a feeling while we were all waiting everyone mentioned that they were all waiting for a suite while us were waiting for just a room and maybe a suite. At that point I was already pissed. And the front desk were not really knowledgeable I'm not sure if she's new but she just didn't know. Anyways she made us wait for 1 1/2 hour for nothing and end up getting a regular room. My point was don't offer a suite that you don't have or sure have then give all the 4 other suite to the people after us. It's upsetting. The room was nice and spacious Even it's not a suite or pool or 2 floors. Because this is an all inclusive resort please bring a lot of $1 for tipping if you or do money exchange. We didn't had a chance to try 3-4 Resto because we're busy. But we enjoyed the different events they had in the resort. For example concert, painting, dance lesson etc... Besides the bad check in it's a nice place to stay at, everything is week kept from the room to the garden etc. Everyone is very nice besides the front desk and the host at the lobster restaurant they need a little bit more customer server training. The resort is so huge the pool and beach is a little walk to the from that were in but that's alright. The sand is so fine and our resort area they kept the sand clean and they will be taking it make sure that there's nothing sharp to be step on. The cabanas are really nice to take a nap they have volleyball as well. They provide towel and the drinks just keeps coming, having your own cup helps to just pour it in as you order or just for hydration everyone we order a drink we order bottled waters the room comes with bottles drinks as well and if your service the room they replenish it. Over all it's a good experience. During our stay there's been 3-4 wedding happening,

    Lobster House. So good!

We've been here in 2017 and then again in 2019. First time back post Scamdemic. It's a 4.5 hour flight non stop but it's worth it. The Excellence is stunning. Sure, there's the first day, don't like the room, we want something better kind of stuff, but that is a common theme with me, but other than that the Excellence is one of the nicest resorts we've been too, actually Hotel Ziva in Puerto Vallarta all I can compare it to ( Mexican resorts ). The grounds are immaculate. The food is amazing, I am not certain who anyone can complain? Bismati and Lobster house always stand out for us. Staff is the best, always get into the Excellence Club if you can, I'll show a few pics of the view from our room. December is a great time to go, first couple days cloudy and chilly with the breeze on the beach, but you have great drinks and big warm brown towels to bundle up with. The rest of the time was sunny, but in the mid 70s, get your tan comfortably. My skin seems to bronze to a Lucious golden hue in Mexican resorts, moreover at the Excellence. Spending NYE was great, it's all great. Already booked for next hear. Go, and go soon. Ps Adults only, so much better.

The staff treats you like family while still delivering top tier luxury. The drinks? Top of the line. Not watered down, not basic real quality liquor, crafted cocktails, and premium options everywhere you go. The food was consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and restaurant quality at every spot on the property. No "typical all-inclusive" shortcuts here everything tasted made to order. And the ambiance... unbeatable. The architecture, the art inspired design, the infinity pools, the beach views it seriously feels like heaven on earth. Every corner of the resort is peaceful, clean, and stunning. Honestly, it's the kind of place that makes you think about going back every single day after you leave. 5 stars isn't enough.

I even noted my birthday on the reservation and mentioned it to my butler the day of. Unfortunately, my birthday came and went with nothing. Only after I complained did decorations appear the following day along with an opportunity for a free spa massage in exchange for listening to a 90 min sales pitch. After such a missed opportunity with the birthday decor, I should've known it was going downhill from here. After the presentation that ended up being 3 hours not 90 mins, I signed up the the Inspira vacation membership but changed my mind the following day. I submitted a cancellation request for the membership within the contract's grace period and received no response until after that period had passed. It's says a lot about the character of a brand when a company is highly responsive during the sales process but far less responsive when a customer exercises their contractual rights. Also, Maria Dolores wasn't great. It was actually a 5/10. The other restaurants on property have way better food. After this experience, I will NEVER return.

After asking the staff if our seats would be secured while we went to lunch and the answer was a big yes that our preferred seats were saved. We come back from lunch to find our seats taken. Who knows what kinda stuff might happen. I'd highly recommend you resolve this issue as I don't see myself coming back here. Cheers UPDATE: I happened to run in to our original friend Freddy and he completely helped turn it all around. We spent basically our entire vacation at the Jungle pool! Freddy is an absolutely amazing asset! Eduardo, Pedro and Arturo as well as Jaime all helped to make our stay incredible! Yes we had something unfortunate happen but what matters is how it is addressed and this resort stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! We paid approximately $17,000 for this vacation, so it was disappointing that throughout the resort there were several instances where staff seemed to be expecting additional tips, creating an awkward atmosphere. I understand that some employees may not have known our package included gratuities, but it still left us feeling uncomfortable. We have previously stayed at Secrets Akumal and Secrets The Vine, and both experiences were exceptional. We love the Secrets brand and were excited to try this property. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. Some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level of service was inconsistent throughout our stay, and we encountered multiple situations where staff members were unhelpful, unfriendly, or simply rude. As Preferred Club guests, we checked in through the Preferred Lounge. One of our rooms had a significant mosquito problem. When I asked the Preferred concierge if anything could be done, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. Only after I continued to press the issue was I told the room could be fumigated. The concierge took down the requested date and time, but when we followed up the next day, no one had any record of the request, and we had to start the process all over again. The food experience was also inconsistent. Our first dinner at El Patio was excellent, but when we returned another evening, much of the food was overcooked and dry. One of the cocktails we ordered was noticeably missing sweetness. We knew this because we had been ordering the same drink throughout the resort. When we politely mentioned it to our server, he repeatedly insisted nothing was wrong with it. My husband suggested it might simply need more syrup. Instead of taking the drink back to have it corrected, the server brought a bottle of syrup to the table. His demeanor throughout the interaction was cold and dismissive. Another disappointing experience occurred on our final morning. My parents went to Market Café for breakfast by themselves and sat patiently for quite some time without anyone taking their drink order. My mother eventually approached a server to ask for assistance. That employee spoke with the server assigned to their section, but no one ever came to the table. My mother had to seek help a second time before receiving service. Ironically, near the end of the meal, the assigned server finally appeared and asked how everything was. The entire situation felt bizarre and completely avoidable. These experiences were surprising because they are not what we have come to expect from the Secrets brand or from a five-star resort. We don't know whether the service issues were related to the fact that gratuities were already included in our package or if there were other factors involved. We would have gladly tipped additional staff members for exceptional service if gratuities had not already been included. While the property itself is beautiful, the inconsistent service significantly impacted our overall experience. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we would not return to this resort.

There are pros and cons to this resort. I think the experience really is per person/family because…read morelots of reviews seem to differ. I liked my stay in the beginning, but closer to the end I wasn't so impressed. Leading up, their Instagram page and the online website really hype up the place. We chose this location for our Babymoon with our first child (1.5 yrs old). I'm 5 months pregnant so the variety of food, pools, and fun for little one was a big appeal. Resort & staff: The resort is beautiful and clean, and the staff are very friendly. But some staff don't seem to know what's going on or how to help, while others are going through the motions. When we asked the concierge for directions to the Kids Club, she sent us to "PB"/lower level where the staff only was. This happened a lot as we saw many other guests saying the same thing "she told us to come to PB". Another staff member didn't know how to get to the Kids Club even though it was located right behind the kids water, a few steps away from where he was working. Kids & teen club: The activities and shows are really only worth it if your child is age 3 and up. You can't take your 1 or 2 year old into the clubs unless it's during family time, which are in the mornings during certain time. The one time we were able to go, no one was there. They were at the kids water park instead. Activities: On the app, they have a lot going on. But nothing actually goes on. Activities run behind schedule and the events you'd actually want to go to don't start until late at night. This didn't work for us most of the time but we just did some later naps for our babe to stay up late. The Circus and Magic shows seem to be the highlight be we're only available during the week. Other days the shows we planned to go to would be canceled morning of, and there would only be DJ's or karaoke. Food: A good variety but everything is pretty meh. Great for kids though as there is something for everyone! Check the app as certain restaurants are closed and others open. Dress code is semi strict for men. Reservations for Hibachi are a must! App can be finicky. Best eats for us: Fusion and Tres Colores Pool: All pools were very kid friendly, especially Mermaid. There was a little "beach" area to walk in and the alternative side had a little splash pool. There were splash pad areas at both pools. Mermaid pool appeared to have the younger kids while Sealegs had more teens and adults. Staff become a lot more friendly if you tip. Room: We had the Junior Suite? At the main building on level 4. There was a mini leak above the fan that we called in and put a towel down. They seemed to have "checked it out" because the towel was gone but it wasn't patched and it continued to drip the rest of our stay. We were worried because it was right above where we put our toddlers crib. 2 nights before checkout there was another leak by the A/C system or whatever it is, right in front of the bathroom door. The leak was spontaneous but a lot of water poured out. We called it in again and they said they would "check it out" again. We had to put 2 big towel on the ground and someone definitely checked it out because they just pushed the towels to the side. No patch work was done and it continued to pour. When I woke up at 5:00 am there was water from the bathroom door all the way to where the end of the closet was. As a 5 month pregnant lady, stepping in this and the potential to slip is absolutely upsetting. Even more upsetting that we made them aware of our room's problems 3x but they made no effort to fix it or to potentially put us in another room. We told them again at check-out and our concierge seemed to already be aware of where the leak was, and just apologized. Nothing more. Bali Beds: We reserved a Sealegs Bali Bed before our arrival. Keep your receipts! At check-out they tried to say we owed them an extra charge of $150. We showed our email and they had to call someone to double check. Took about 15 minutes. At the end of the day it is a tourist destination, so they do what they can. We spoke to some other families (with kids ages 5 and older) who said they love it here and have come back. For me, I personally wouldn't recommend and would try a different resort.

The resort was clean (very clean), things worked as intended, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful, and the food was good! It always helps when you're in Mexico and you get good weather (which we did) but these folks had the grounds and resort, itself, firing on all cylinders. My down-rankings were in the lack of daily engagement and night-time activities. Besides a massive party thrown for the superbowl, I didn't notice any nighttime activites (could be my fault for not looking into it more) and the daily activities existed but the staff didn't really try very hard to pull people "into the fight", if you will. Having said that, these luxuries that I've seen at other brands did not take away from the wonderful experience that my friends and I had!

The food was actually delicious at every restaurant and buffet we tried. Their speciality restaurants were exquisite. Plenty of bars and night action as well. We were impressed by everything. We visited their spa which was undoubtedly the best spa experience I've ever had, international or in the states. All of the alcohol was top notch and the service matched the aesthetic.... Perfect! We paid for a "premium" upgrade only to discover the bars weren't fully stocked. Bartenders' excuse was either "low season" or "we had a large party" (Newsflash: Resorts have reservations and can plan for capacity in advance). Half the restaurants were closed because of "low season." And, if you're looking for a romantic evening sipping champagne by the pool, foorget it. The "adult" pool, part of the "premium" upgrade, closes at 8 pm. Yes, EIGHT PM. With so many great alternatives in Cancun this is one to avoid. What a joke. An expensive joke.

We set our expectations high for this place considering all the reviews/ratings on Trip Advisor,…read moreGoogle, Facebook, and Yelp. Adults only, couples only, all-inclusive resort - that's a big yes! We hadn't been to a resort in a long time and were very stoked for our visit in August 2025. As is the standard for the Excellence brand of resorts - the staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Instantly, our needs were taken care of - the room wasn't ready, but we were provided with an opportunity to change and immediately take advantage of our stay. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

The morning breakfast buffet at Le Bisou has an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and sushi. The morning breakfast buffet at Isla Trattoria offers more traditional Mexican dishes. The cabana rentals are only $60 for the entire day and come with a coconut drink, mimosa bar, and fresh fruits. We will be back!!!

Second visit and another GREAT vacation! We have been fortunate to travel to some amazing…read moredestinations and this place is special. It's fairly new and a lot to love here. But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!…read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.

And a great place to cool down at night long after the main pool closed. We had great service at the main pool from Brayan. He remembered us and our drink order. We purposely sat in his area both days because the service was spectacular. The food was not amazing but that's to be expected at all Inclusives. What was most frustrating was the reservation system or lack there of.
