If I could give a 0 stars I would. Warning stay away, these guys are crooks and only try to overcharge people. I've been here before and had great service however less than a year later the service has dropped dramatically. I went to get a level and tires put on and even had an appointment, was told it would be done same day and I even dropped it off first thing in the morning. The end of the day they called and said hey it's not done and we haven't even started can we keep the car. I said yes with them promising me that my truck was first in line. The next day I came in to pick the truck up at the end of the day and guess what.... Truck is still not done. Once I told them this is unprofessional and this is going on 3 days they said hey if you're willing to wait we can have someone finish the alignment. I waited for about a hour after they closed and was told hey sir we drive the truck and everything is good to go and it rides smooth. I took keys drive off and within 5 mins the truck wobbled so bad. I called so I can bring it back that and no answer. I called back the next morning (day 3) told them what was happening and they told me to bring it in. I told them I'm military and currently in class and don't have time to keep running back and forth but I will come during lunch. Got their at lunch and as soon as I walked in and said I had a appointment they said oh sorry sir we meant to call you..... did no one talk to you when you got the vehicle, I said no. He said the tires you have are bad tires. I told him if the tires are bad why did no one say anything to me prior to putting the tires on???? He had no answer so now they want me to buy new tires.... Keep in mind that I got these tires off of my other truck so I know they're good. Truck and Moore said that they mechanic had notes that I was supposed to be brief on. When I asked for the notes the clerk walk to get them took them all the way across the room scratch something out and gave me the notes. On the notes it clearly says convince customer to buy new tires she try to scratch it out however you could still see it. I got my last truck done with them and paid a little over 6 for a level and install, tires put on and balance, alignment, and a oil change. This time I bought my own level kit and had tires put on (smaller than last time) and alignment that's it and they tried to charge me 1100 even after o called ahead and was told the price would be around 450. I will say that the Trucks and Moore I have used for the past 20 years is no longer. I took my car in today (1-4-23) for an oil change and engine check (because lights on the dash indicated "check engine") and four hours later, all that was done was an oil check or so they said. They were to mount 4 new tires but that was not done. They were to check engine but that was not done and I'm not sure the oil change was done as they did not remove the windshield sticker and replace it with a new one. I do Not recommend this company for any work to be done on your auto or truck. read more

So I got a hitch add to my car I left it there for a week. There were issues with shipping saying it shipped but didn't, this happened twice. My car was to be left outside, to be picked up; it was not! They ended up bringing my car to me to avoid refunding me some money! Once I got off work I checked their work and they didn't put the ball on the hitch! I called and was told there would be an open order for it! And that they could not ship it too me! I have to agree with Mr. O - we ordered a hitch a week ago Saturday [today is Tue] - which Trucks and Moore said would come in last Tue or Wed - at which time they would call so we could bring in the truck and have it installed. We paid in full in advance. Wed came and they hadn't called so we called and found it didn't come in. When asked when they expect it to come in they said this Tue. Today came no call. Again we called late in the afternoon to see if it arrived. We were told me no it didn't. When we asked if they knew when it might come in - they lady said no. So I politely explained our situation - we made reversations with a local campground for the coming weekend based on their claim that the hitch would come in and been installed a week ago - and wasn't sure what to do [stay or take my business elsewhere] - or wait and risk not being able to cancel my reservations. She said she couldn't help me and would have a salesperson call me. When 4 came and no one called back - my husband went in and got a refund for the $400 we paid. Sadly we decided to take our business else where and try and save our vacation. read more

Well, having owned several businesses in my past I can say Tyler and his crew TRY to provide and perform in an imperfect world with at times rude and ungrateful people! They attempt to smile and please, and did my work with consistent communication calls and updates, covered all difficulties with honesty and were upfront about what I could expect! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! IF I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD. I took my car in to Trucks and Moore because the tire pressure light went on in my car. The said they repaired damage done by a screw in my tire. The light went on again later that afternoon. I brought it back. They turned off the light and said the pressure in the tires was off so they fixed it. They made a point of saying that Bobby, the manager, "took care of that for you" meaning they didn't charge me again (they acted like they were doing me a favor by doing the right thing). The next day, the light went on again (Sunday). I called them Monday since they were closed on Sunday, and they said the pressure sensor light kept coming on because the sensor broken. I get out to my car Monday evening after work and my tire is just about flat. With my trust in them completely gone, I took it somewhere else instead. Turns out, I needed a new tire and that no repair had been done on my tire at all. There was a tear along the edge of the tire causing the slow leak. I paid Trucks and Moore $28 to for a tire repair that should have cost half that anywhere else and they never even made an attempt to fix my tire. I called them and left a message about my flat tire and they never bothered to call me back. Recommendation to anyone reading this: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

If you are going to do business with Trucks and Moore Services, Augusta, GA, do not give them a deposit prior to them working on your vehicle. I made this dreaded mistake and it is costing me 400 dollars. I put a deposit down for Trucks and Moore to install wheels, tires, leveling kit and fender flares. I am not sure if they ordered the parts. the reason for saying that is because Trucks and Moore kept my vehicle over night, however the very next day they decided there was trust issue and they were not going to do the work as promised. They decided to keep a portion of the money that was deposited for the work that never got done. So be careful when dealing with this company. read more

This place sure isn't what it used to be. Back in 2006 I took the truck i had at the time in for a new exhaust, and they did an outstanding job but then last summer I took my 2010 Dodge Ram in to have a set of exhaust Headers installed, at about 9:30 in the morning. I was quoted a time farm of about 4 to 5 hours for the work to be complete. That afternoon at around 2:30, they called to tell me the truck would not be ready that day because they wanted break the headers in by heating them up and retighten them in the morning. The next morning I called and was told they work was still not done, but my truck would be ready to pick up after lunch, so at about 1:30 that afternoon my wife dropped me off there to pick up the truck, but it still was not ready. They told me it would be about another hour. After two hours went by, they still had not finished. To finish the story, my truck was not ready until about 5:30 that afternoon. I complained to the manager, and over 15 man hours to complete a 4.5 hour job, and they were not apologetic and I was still charged full price for the work. (UPDATE) I decided to give these guys another chance by having some exhaust work done on my truck. I asked them to convert my exhaust to a true dual setup, by going from the two catalytic converters into an x-pipe then into two separate Flowmaster single in single out mufflers and then from there straight out the back. After the work was done I looked under the truck and saw that the idiot that did the welding, did not put the x-pipe between the catalytic convertor and the muffler where it is supposed to go, but instead welded the x-pipe after the muffler before it exits the back of the truck. THIS MADE ABSALUTLEY KNOW SENCE WHAT SO EVER. Anyone who installs exhaust for a living would have a common understanding with what I requested, so where did they get this guy? So I waited for another hour or so for him to fix it. And to top it off the work looked sloppy. I have seen better welding done from high school metal shop classes. A month or so later while washing my truck I noticed one of my exhaust tips stuck out about a half an inch further than the other, so I took it back again to have them correct this. And the same welder denied doing the work. He actually tried to say someone else must have made that mistake. Are competent welders that hard to come by these days, until I showed the receipt that said showed who the work was done by. read more
