I have asked many questions but he never frowned nor hesitated answering my questions. I was very impressive that he genuinely cares for me like his family member. Also, the staffs are kind and welcoming! They have the most up-to-date technology/devices. The office is clean and nice. I was worried visiting the dental office during covid19 pandemic, but they had their own covid policy for extra safety measure. First off let me begin by saying that I have not been to the dentist in over 20+ years. Similar to many others, I was embarrassed and very nervous to go anywhere after such a long hiatus since my last dentist visit, but Dr. Kang and the TruDental staff were top notch. I just recently had my third appointment here: two regular check-ups + cleaning and one to replace a filling I had gotten years ago that started to cause some pain and discomfort. It's been a couple months since I got my filling changed, and I feel no more pain! Dr. Kang did a great job making sure I received the best treatment! TruDental is also very thorough with xrays and photographs, something I've never experienced from other dental offices. I was always used to not really knowing what is happening to my teeth and what condition my teeth are in, but Dr.Kang gives a very detailed and thorough report of what your teeth look like and state they are in. He cleans each teeth individually in detail and asks if I feel any discomfort or pain during the procedure. We decided to try a dentist closer to our home instead of driving all the way out to Santa Ana. My wife visited Dr. Kang first and was very happy with the service she got. She also mentioned how clean and modern the office was. Our regular dentist office is quite old, which was something she always didn't feel too fond of. I decided to go in for a cleaning also since it was almost a year since my last cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to see a modern up to date office. The waiting room had a nice bright look to it. Things were clean and they had the 6 feet apart markers on the couch. The equipment used in the office was also newer. There's a whole mouth CT scan that gets done, which was something I never had done before. The bite wing Xrays are done with a similar machine as my old dentist, but the Xrays are done digitally instead of waiting for the film to develop. Dr. Kang also took detailed pictures of my mouth and explained what he saw. There's a nice flat screen that shows you everything right in front of you on the dental chair. It's quite interesting what you can see when you have pictures of your teeth blown up on the big screen. The cleaning process is the same as ever, meaning it sucked, but Dr. Kang was very attentive and made sure that I wasn't in any kind of pain during the process. The staff was also courteous and professional. My wife and I are very happy with TruDental. read more

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the office and how they even tried to stagger appointments to ensure each pt was staying safe during the visit . I am pretty nervous about seeing a dentist since I've had a bad experience when I was younger. I tried a dentist before coming here but was not happy with the cleanings. I was always in pain for 3 days after their cleanings..and they were not able to fix my husbands tooth pain. They had tried with many appointments and money without ever finding the solution and reason why the tooth was still in pain. We found Trudental by our neighbors and husband went first. Dr. Kang immediately found the reason and in one visit his pain was gone. I decided to try Dr. Kang for a cleaning and he is the most genuine , caring, and patient dentist. After moving to OC and getting new dental insurance, I had been searching for a new dentist and one of my coworkers recommended TruDental. I visited for the first time this week and I must admit I had the BEST dental experience I've ever had! I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Kang and his team. From the moment I walked in, I just felt so relaxed~ the office is very clean and has a modern yet homey vibe, with coffee/tea available and calm music playing in the background. More importantly, I quickly felt comfortable trusting Dr. Kang's professional judgment regarding my teeth and oral health. He patiently walked me through everything and clearly explained what was going on in my X-rays. I had originally come in for a general cleaning but after assessing the images, he recommended a deep clean, and I was more than happy to agree because I had seen with my own eyes that I truly needed it! XD During the procedure, Dr. Kang verbally prepared me for each step, letting me know what to expect and making sure I was comfortable the whole time. I did need to get a local anesthetic, but I barely felt the injections~ and I normally have a low pain tolerance, so this is a real testament to his skills! This may be TMI but I haven't been to a dentist in quite a while. I had some trust issues with my last dentist that really made me distrust the profession. I was referred to Dr. Kang recently and decided to give TruDental a try. I was completely blown away. Not sure if dental technology recently went through a major boom but this office was straight futuristic. The first machine they used made spaceship sounds. It was genuinely fun! Equipment aside, it was super easy to make an appointment. When I arrived the staff was super friendly and I was actually seen on time. Imagine that! Dr. Kang gave me the most in depth explanation on the state of my dental health that I have ever received. I'm used to dentists basically just telling me I have a cavity and start drilling. Dr. Kang was super professional and honest. There was an area of potential issue, but Dr. Kang showed on the X-ray that it doesn't quite need treatment yet and said we'll monitor it. Never in my life has a dentist said that to me. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a dentistry but now I refer all my friends to TruDental! read more

Dr. Kang is the best dentist! He is caring, patient, thorough, honest and transparent. I recieved deep cleaning and filling services, and he made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I hardly experienced any pain through my 90 minute procedure, even when he injected local anesthesia for my deep cleaning treatmemt! My visit to TruDental was a truly pleasant experience! I was referred to TruDental from a friend of mine who lives in Anaheim and I am so glad that I have found TruDental.
