Saj and Jeff are GREAT. I have had them repair my Avalon 3 times now. Once for an emergency gas line replacement before a scheduled vacation. They came through at a very fair price! They are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to work with me on what I want or don't want. I now rearrange my work schedule for them to do the work rather than pay the higher prices that dealerships charge. Getting ready to bring it in for basic transmission service and air and cabin filter change because they are doing pick up and delivery during the Pandemic. Great customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND...Brought my vehicle in to get a couple issues diagnosed. Dropped off on a Tuesday evening and received a phone call later on Wednesday. They called and claimed they found the issues and went on to tell me what they found and the couple thousand dollars it would take to fix..Went for a second opinion to another shop and they diagnosed completely different issue for less than a quarter of True Blues price. Went ahead and had other shop repair vehicle and all issues I had with my vehicle are now taken care of. Imagine if I would have had True Blue replace the parts they claimed were bad and paid that couple thousand only to have the same issues..On top of all this they charge me $125 to misdiagnose my vehicle. My car, a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX, was having trouble starting. I took it to TrueBlue on a friend's recommendation. The manager said it was probably the battery, but to be sure he had his technician perform a complete battery/charging system diagnostic (for free). The charging system checked out and they were able to order the correct battery from a local parts store and install it within 30 minutes. The waiting room (and customer restroom) was clean and didn't stink. My three year old had a blast looking through the window into the repair bay and playing with the toys they have in the waiting room while we waited. read more

In from out of town visiting family and my cadillac was stranded with no power steering. Took it to Midas and they didn't have the tools or knowledge to work on it. True blue got me right in, checked it out after-hours for me and their tech gave me a ride back to my sister in laws house. Fixed it right the first time, and gave me all the scenarios up front. Great shop! It is so nice to find a mechanic that you can trust. I've taken 2 different cars in multiple times and a couple of times they sent me home with no repairs necessary. Despite all the good reviews I've seen, I wasn't shown the *Honest* service everyone else seems to have had. I simply brought my car in for my brake lights to be changed for a guy to come back 5 mins later to tell me it wasn't my brake lights but an electrical problem and I'd have to come back another day for a diagnosis. I have a CTS which is a pain in the butt to change the lights which I understand but for me to take my car elsewhere and have them tell me it WAS just my lights is pretty annoying and so inconsiderate considering I have a 4 month old I tote around. I would give this place zero stars for trying to rip me off. read more

I found True Blue Auto Care staff to be very professional with excellent communications while providing service that only used OEM parts and fluids. At no time, did I feel pressure to buy additional services or products. The whole facility was organized and neat. While waiting a few minutes up front, I happen to notice that True Blue also takes pride in giving back to the Orangevale community since I saw a food receiving barrel from the local food bank as well as being members of the local Rotary International who is always doing wonderful things for mankind. I have had issues in the past with getting my oil changed but this place was great! I let them know my concerns and asked if I can watch them change my oil. They were more then happy. They even pulled up a chair and let me watch them in the shop. He let me check out my whole engine with him. They were VERY honest and they weren't trying to take every cent I had. Unfortunately, I did not have the positive experience of other reviewers. I took my car in because the front end was shimmying and one of the belts was making a mild screeching noise. They replaced the brakes, turned the rotors, and replaced 3 belts. Got it back and not only does it still shimmy, it makes a very loud screech when you start it. My husband took it back and they said there was something wrong with the pully. I later called to discuss this with them and I was told that they fixed it. I told them that it did not make that loud screech when I brought it in to them. After a bit of discussion, they offered to look at it again, but I felt like they had already made up their mind that they didn't do anything wrong. I felt if they really stood by their work, they would have offered to re-look at it immediately when I called rather than take a position of defending themselves about how they did nothing wrong. I didn't want to argue the issue and didn't want to have them touch my car again so I didn't take it back. They charged $570 and I still have the problem and the screech. I won't go back. Another reviewer compared this place with the Car Czar, indicating that the Car Czar is more expensive. Sometimes you get what you pay. If it costs more to get it fixed right, I would rather pay more and have it fixed right the first time around. I would say use this place at your own risk. read more
