A few hours later two plumbers can to complete the repair. Total man-hours for three workers was 4 hours. I was charged $1135. I asked what was their hourly rate. Christian told me they don't charge by the hour, but by the job. I realize I should have been more proactive when I got the estimate, but $250/hour is crazy. Again good work, outrageous rates. I don't recommend them unless you're really in a tough situation.

More importantly, since the unit is under HOA, he made HOA aware with pointing out where the unit main water shut off valves were. Four complex, HOA controlled operating those shut off valves. The plumber worked on it for two days. I was told it would only take one day. What's more frustrating is that the plumber used copper piping and a lead flux. This does not make sense to do for a water filtration system. There are lead contamination points downstream of the filtration device. Further, there are now bits of flux all over my flooring. The piping is all mismatched and not clean. The pipes are diagonal instead of in parallel clean lines. My water system leaks at the coupling points. I paid $2k for a sloppy and rushed job that took two days. I can't believe the plumber used lead flux on a drinking water system. Who even uses flux nowadays? So some more research and find a better plumbing company.
