Mike & Robert were on point. Once a appointment was made, they arrived on time & the service was dead on. They power vac & scrubbed my pool till it was perfect. John responded to my Yelp post quickly, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted the work. He handled the opening, does weekly maintenance, and has taken the time to walk me through the different components so I can take on some upgrades myself. Can't say enough good things about John. He's easy-going, reliable, and has been maintaining pools across the Island for over 15 years. For my neighbors in and around Port Jefferson, the Three Villages, Mount Sinai, and Miller Place--John's been coming out to me, and he's a rare find if you're looking for honest, hands-on pool support. I suggested to do a search on Yelp and he landed on Deluxe Pool Services. I held my breath... and they came through. The services he gets include opening/closing and weekly cleanings. Dad is especially impressed because whenever there are issues with his pool, their customer service is so top tier, they are on it immediately to resolve the problem. Their location is in CT but you can see from the reviews that they work with pools all over LI (and apparently as far as Albany, according to my father). Their maintenance people are fast, friendly and thorough (I've been at the house a couple times when they serviced the pool). Reasonably priced, too. Important to note that my father is someone who doesn't tolerate inconsistent timeliness (this probably goes for 9/10 dads, no?) and they are always on time or they call. You really can't ask for anything more when it comes to pool services.

Instead, he insisted on putting it in a different spot, assuring me that he had leveled the ground and that it would be fine. The pool looked okay at first, but it only lasted one season. Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.

More like "Pair of crooks" Paragon pools on Main Street outside of the village of Huntington... been going there for years even went after last year when the woman said to me that because I bought chemicals from another place, exact quote except for the expletive "don't blame me if your $£€+! doesn't work " (she's been fired btw)... in any event been going there , know all the employees and they know me and we kid around about how hard it is to get the pool balance and then today after realizing I already had chemicals - that I already bought from them , my son went there and didn't double check, I called and I wanted money returned on the chemicals that we had just purchased within the last hour Well, low and behold I'm read the chapter & verse that says it is the policy to not take back any chemicals , so I called the store and told Tim that this is ridiculous , they know who I am , I've spent hundreds of dollars in chemicals and watched their trial and error, which I'm paying for and by the way they need to return the money. My son will be there in 10mins. I then get a call from the store manager, aaron, who says it's only $15. We don't return it And when I said yes you are. You're gonna return it. At which point he said great, "I'll return it. Don't come back " so basically I got thrown out of a store that I've been spending money at bc of convenience that's been been giving me bad service / advice from kids that don't look old enough to buy beer a blessing in disguise and a warning for everybody else who has a pool near Huntington NY .
