We hired True Craft Builders for a bedroom and bathroom remodel in our 1950s home. Let's just say our house had its fair share of older home surprises and challenges. We were also 6 months pregnant and needed the project completed on schedule in order to have enough time to complete the nursery. Not only was Rodney and his crew extremely professional and skilled, but they finished the project on time and on budget. Communication was great. They were easy to work with and responsive. The bedroom and bathroom are beautiful and just as we had envisioned. 3 years later we're planning our next home project and have already reached out to Rodney for planning. We would highly recommend True Craft Builders! They did a great job!

I concur with the first reviewer. So glad to know Rod is on his own and doing well; but not a surprise. As a kitchen and bath designer, I worked with Rod for years when he was a foreman for a well established construction company in the bay area. He was the one I dealt with on a daily basis during the entire remodel. On top of things and never dubious about expressing his need to keep the job on schedule and running smoothly, Rod would keep me very much in line. And I never wanted to let him down. Looking forward to working with him again. Congratulations to Rodney Pacheco of True Craft Builders.

JV Cabinets earns my highest recommendation for anyone considering cabinet refacing or new cabinet…read moreinstallation. From the very first visit, Paul set himself apart from other contractors I had met with -- he arrived fully prepared with a variety of material and color samples, thoroughly explained the refacing process, covered warranty details, took measurements, and even designed the layout, all in a single appointment. There was never any pressure to sign, which I genuinely appreciated. When questions came up after his visit, Paul responded quickly with a phone call followed by a detailed email complete with photos and examples. That level of follow-through is hard to find. Once I signed the contract, Jaime came by to confirm measurements and listen to my ideas, translating them into a well-defined project plan. The results speak for themselves -- everything was completed ahead of schedule. The cabinet refacing surpassed my expectations, and the material we selected not only looks stunning but feels great and is effortless to clean. The new coffee bar in the living room has become an absolute showstopper, and the added cabinets in the laundry area are both practical and well-crafted. Miguel, who handled the final installation, was a true professional -- communicative, courteous, and a pleasure to have in our home. The team wrapped up with a thorough walk-through and left everything immaculate. I've already recommended JV Cabinets to friends and family, and I would do so again without hesitation.

Their customer service is top-notch, they even came back two months after completion to fix a minor issue I spotted. Shout-out to Carlos for the amazing countertops!

Amazing work from Elite Custom Cabinetry. After a quick Yelp search, we came across Elite Custom Cabinetry and Fidel was able to see what was already done and listened to what I wanted to do. He quickly understood what was needed, listened for any design input, even provided some options with regards to trim styles to be installed in between each bookcase. On the day of installation, just a few hours went by and the crown molding, various pieces of trim, and nearly perfectly matching baseboards were installed. Lots of little bits here and there were considered to truely give the appearance of a built-in library. The work was perfect, especially given where the starting line was. When the work was done, their clean up was so good, not a piece of dust was left behind. On top of everything, pricing was very reasonable. For the work that was done, the cost was very fair. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone looking to complete a bookshelf/library project. I am sure they do other types of work but as far as libraries go, nothing but fantastic work.

I am *really* fussy about hiring contractors. So many of them conduct their business sloppily and…read moreunprofessionally I can't believe they stay in business at all. So I do my research and am VERY selective in who I hire when our house needs work. My wife and I hired Andy Fernandes and Adval and they proved to be the real deal. Andy was *always* prompt - every time he or anyone from his company was scheduled to arrive they arrived early. Andy and his crew were communicative, clearly very knowledgeable, and straightforward, which is to say that they told me *and showed me* what was really happening and not what they wanted to promise or what they thought we wanted to hear. And they followed through exactly as they said they would. The quality of their work was outstanding. We had a few kitchen cabinets that had gotten damaged by the 2014 Napa quake and were looking like they were going to fall off the wall. Andy sent over a master carpenter (he spent years building stuff for moneyed people on Martha's Vineyard, who can be quite demanding) who didn't "upsell" us by telling us one of the cabinets needed to be rebuilt (the build cabinet in their own shop), he showed us in detail exactly what the problem was and convinced skeptical me that a new cabinet built from real plywood instead of the particle board of the cabinets the flipper who sold us the house had installed was the way to go. They reused the facing from the old cabinets, so the match was immaculate. Price-wise, yeah, they weren't the cheapest I could have found, but they were most definitely not close to the high end, they were right in the ballpark, and I figure if I demand quality I have to be wiling to pay for it. And we most decidedly got what we paid for. I repeat again that I am VERY picky about contractors, but I unhesitatingly give Adval Construction my highest recommendation. Our job was pretty small, but I would hire them for a big job in a heartbeat. This is the way construction contracting is supposed to work.

The Adval team is amazing! We researched a number of companies in the Bay Area for our master bath…read moreremodel/closet project and they impressed us from the start. Kurt came out and spent time with us to understand the scope of the project and really listened to what we wanted. He was professional with a warm and caring approach. Patrick did a great job spearheading the project and Andre and his team were onsite every week working tirelessly to ensure we stayed on schedule. The communication was top notch throughout the project and the team made sure no detail was overlooked which made us feel that our project was in good hands. I would highly recommend Adval!
