This is in a food bar and is a bit of a pain to get to unless you're staying/working in one of the high-rises. The area is dark and cool. I've had several menu items from here... 1. The True blue is good and one of the few fruit-based menu items without banana 2. The avocado toast is good, but do yourself a favor and request light salt... so salty 3. The hummus wrap is gross. Don't get it. The amino acid is drenching all of the other flavors. I threw it out and just had my smoothie for dinner. In general they always seem to be out of a critical menu item. This last time it was cucumber which is on many of their menu items and because they use so few ingredients within their menu they have nothing to offer in as a substitute. read more

If I could give zero stars I would have chosen that option. This is a black owned business which makes this experience even more disappointing for me. The owner was the only person there and was the one providing the service. After ordering, he proceeded to say I need a minute to go to the back to grab the ingredients. He returns 15m later with brown bags full of fruits. Upon ordering , I asked for No Pineapples he said the smoothies are made as is. Once I see that he is cutting each ingredient in front of me and adding them to the blender. I asked again why do I have to get pineapple when you can just not place it in the blender. He was adamant about having to add all the ingredients because that was his company's policy and he was not bending on that. He proceeded to be rude , disrespectful and arrogant as he was communicating with me. He interrupted me several times to ask if I want to get a refund. After he verbally expressed that his focus is not on customer satisfaction but what is best for him and his business. I requested a refund. I will not SUPPORT any business who intentionally disrespects customers ,chooses not to listen to them , and must have the last word. I'm glad he did atleast provide a refund. read more

I spent $5 for a less than shot worth of "power juice" that tasted like lemon-y grass water. There wasn't even any caffeine in it so I have no clue why they called it a power drink. I didn't feel any energy from it at all, and I've gotten more liquor for that price. There are plenty of other good options in the food hall. read more

I went here to get a smoothie. Upon ordering, I was given a pager, so walked around the area around Politan Row. About 15 minutes later, the pager had still had not gone off. So I walked up to the counter and told the staff (the owner) that I'd been waiting awhile; so here is the pager (I put it on the counter) and hopefully I'd have my smoothie soon. 10 minutes later--it was still not ready. At one point, the owner/staff realized I had returned the pager. He began yelling at me, berating me. He told me I had "messed up his system." He was extremely angry, argumentative, and upset. He acted as I had done something intentionally wrong to him personally. He would not listen to me, or even let me speak. He just continued to let his temper get the best of him and treated me -- a friendly customer -- like garbage. I was dumbfounded. Without question, this is THE WORST customer service I've ever had at a smoothie place. Once I finally got it (around 20-25 minutes after ordering) -- the smoothie was actually good. But I cannot a support a business that has no respect for its customers and exhibits rude & aggressive behavior to those it provides its services for. I will never support "True Life Wellness Juice Bar" in any fashion. Clearly, they don't want customers or their money. I hope this place goes out of business. read more

There's an old saying that goes if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. There are times when the "don't say anything at all" part is necessary, but now is not that time. First off, believe what you read about the horrible customer service. When I stopped by on 8/12/23, there was only one worker, and he was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. I asked for one of the cold-pressed juices, but he said he didn't have the ingredients. I asked for another juice and received the same response. Mind you, I'm looking at the ingredients the entire time on his counter. He then annoyingly tells me "I can't make you a juice but I can make you a smoothie". I should have walked away then, but I really wanted a healthy drink so I ultimately settled for a smoothie. Where is his attitude coming from though? Because truthfully, if you don't want to clean the machine or don't know how to use a juicer, then just say that. Despite this, I still left a tip. So while I was waiting for my smoothie, I went to grab a cup of water and I came back to ask for a straw. He literally told me to go to the bar and ask for one. Are you f*cking kidding me?!? I can understand if he was out of straws then yeah, sure, send me to the bar, but he wasn't. I literally just ordered a drink from HIS stall AND left a tip, and he couldn't give me a straw? Now I'm the one annoyed. After about 25-30 minutes of waiting, the buzzer vibrated to let me know that my order was ready. Why did it take so long to make a smoothie? Only the Lord can answer that, because his stall wasn't even busy. The smoothie, itself, was mediocre at best. I didn't even taste any of the ingredients that it was supposed to come with. With all of his unwarranted rudeness, I should have taken my money elsewhere and gotten something to drink from another stall that would've tasted better and probably would've been cheaper. I will never give this place my money again. If that was indeed the owner, then I don't believe in the longevity of this business. read more

Today 4/3/2021, I visited the wellness juice bar and asked for a "shot" for my friend and asked if I could purchase a single mango. I was told: "this is not a grocery store" to which I replied in a very playful tone: "black man, please don't deny me a piece of fruit...I'll pay whatever I need to, I'm just not into juicing" he squeezed two of them, then stated "that's a custom order and will take 20 minutes....." First off this place is a scam. Though have to give it credit for their smoothie but other than that it's terrible. I been having a cold for that last few days and I was trying to get something to clear my air way from the mucus I have. So I decided to get a cleanse shot and the man said " that it'll help me bring some of that mucus out and clean of my cold and that it didn't have a taste to it". That was a fucking lie because I drunk it and I ended up vomiting, I still have fucking mucus, all I was coughing up was my dinner, and that shit burned my throat like hell. It was disgusting and i was completely scammed of my money and my night. Unfortunately I ruin my dress along wit my mothers birthday dinner because I couldn't even make it there. Great product, but takes a loooooong time even at off hours like 2pm. And by long, I mean like 35 minutes for a smoothie. Again, the actual product is super tasty, but the wait really defeats the purpose of popping in for a quick pick-me-up. I kept hoping this was just a one-off event, but it's definitely a pattern.
