True burger and Nashville chicken sandwiches
    Anthony N.

Ordered takeout and we got the true burger and Nashville chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich had great flavor, a nice spice but also not too spicy because of the avocado mash. The burger was nice and juicy but could have been seasoned or had a little more flavor. French fries and Greek salad for sides were really good!

We went for father's day. The service was great and the food was amazing. We got the calamari, steak, burger, pasta and fish n chips. The calamari was crispy, flavorful and yummy. It came with a spicy mayo dip. The burger was Juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. The fries were super crispy and tasty. Pasta was okay. It had a Mexican spin on it. The fish was super flaky. Overall, it was pricey but worth it. Would come back

Detroit style pizza, feat. whats left of our fried pickles!
    Matt D.

Definitely hit the spot for a Wednesday date night. Came specifically for the Detroit style pizza and I was a fan. Brought a couple of slices home to my dad, and he didn't feel the same way. I liked it. Nice and cheesy, and a good helping of sauce to top it all off. To set your expectations: its on the thicker side, a bit chewy, and very satisfying. The restaurant itself is very much a place you could congregate in and watch a football game. It does have a bar. There's a towny vibe here. Service was well done, our waitress asked my girlfriend and I how our food was after it came out and was generally attentive to our needs. You can't expect a gourmet experience. It's a standard, but well done experience here. Prices are appropriate. I would come back. The shrimp risotto on the other end of the table looked amazing. Don't forget to order fried pickles! Yum!

    Nashville hot chicken nachos

Waitress was very friendly and responsive. The food was good except for one meal. The nachos were great with the fried chicken. All sandwiches and burgers were huge portions and great tasting. The pasta however, was barely warm and not cacio e pepe. Please do not call it that, there was not a spec of pepper in it and it tasted like watered down cream sauce (there is no cream in cacio e pepe). Also needed salt to have any flavor. This is my second time ordering, I gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time because we ordered to go. This time ordered in and it was just as flavorless. Everything else is 5 stars.

Spent a nice Friday night date trying out True North Kitchen in Weymouth and overall it was a good experience the waitress Ashley was amazing! She was down to earth and overall really helpful! I started with the strip steak and it was good and cooked correctly! No real flavor profile but a decent cut of steak with some mashed potatoes and asparagus. We ended the night with the lava cake honestly I wouldn't recommend it to others. It had a very fake cake taste and was just drenched in chocolate. Maybe we just had a bad cake but it really wasn't good. Overall it's a nice spot in Weymouth with amazing service!

Went here for date night and thought it was great! Our server was fantastic and everything came out super quickly. We got the clam chowder, chips and onion dip, old bay wings, and their Detroit style pizza. I will say they don't make their own ranch which was kind of a let down as someone from the mid west- but other than that everything was good! The clam chowder was my favorite and the pizza was great! I would come back and try some of their entrees!

The food at this place never disappoints. Mongolian tenders are great by themselves or on their pizza. The other wild concoction's on their monthly pizza special always shock my taste buds. The true burger and true beer are a perfect combo. Staff is fun and bubbly and while I don't typically frequent the same restaurant because am always on the search for something new I check this menu and visit every month

Each part of each dish is well thought out with care and attention to detail. DONT GO TO LOBSTER SHOP FOR FISH AND CHIPS COME HERE! Fish and chips: fish was large flakey pieces with a light crisp batter. Fish tastes almost buttery and melts in your mouth. Coleslaw and tartar sauce are both clearly house made. Both delicious and balanced. Build your own bowl: I had a medley of toppings. The caramelized onions were flavorful. The pickled onions added a great crunch. The quinoa and bulgar was mixed with a bunch of herbes the ones I could taste were mint and chives but the over all effect was very pleasing. Marinated feta chunks were big almost fluffy and tasted amazing. Seemed like they put a whole half an avocado in. They don't skimp on any one topping. Key lime pie is a kick of key lime flavor. Personally I like a thick key lime pie, this one is super light and airy also the crust is a bit grainy. Over all not a fan of the texture but love the flavor! Also a note, they use a mix of plastic and cardboard type packaging for to go. Overall very pleased with this restaurant's food!

Bay Pointe removes both claws from the lobster which I appreciate and puts the whole claw meat under the stuffing mix. On this particular day only 1 claw was found. When I inquired about the missing claw I was told it was cut up in the stuffing mix. First of all, I have been to this restaurant many times ordering this same dish. So, tell me why 1 claw meat would be cut up and not the other one. Once the explanation was given it was utterly bull. I've never had the claw meat cut up and mixed in with the stuffing and as far as I'm concerned it should never be an option to do that. If so, I probably would not order this dish anymore. I want to see my claws in it's entirety and not cut up. Bottom line lobsters have 2 claws not 1. Both should have been in the dish and basically it wasn't. This will not deter me from coming to this establishment, but please think about your response before providing an answer that doesn't make any sense. After putting our names on the waitlist for an outdoor table, we hoped to wait near the outdoor bar in case seats opened up. We were told by the veteran short brown-haired bartender to move elsewhere, which we did. Later, when I returned to close our tab, I noticed several other guests standing in the exact same area where we had been told we could not wait. What bothered us most was not the wait, but the inconsistent treatment and dismissive attitude we encountered. When I mentioned the situation to the hostess as we were leaving, she immediately seemed to know which bartender I was referring to and apologized for our experience. We understand busy restaurants have policies to manage crowds, but after years of enjoying Bay Point, this interaction left us feeling unwelcome. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return.

We started with the house-baked bread sampler that was served with honey butter and a delicious "nest" of hummus and an appetizer of honey roasted carrots on a bed of farro. We then shared the Salmon Poke Bowl that was so fresh and flavorful and a spring pasta dish of lemon cream, fresh tomatoes, arugula with lots of cheese. There were so many items on the menu we'd like to try but their baker makes such incredible bread that we ordered another plate! Cheers to chef/owner Tina Conte and her team. We were seated within a few minutes of arriving, which was nice. Our server was great - greeted us right away and went through the specials for the evening. On to the entrees - I had the chicken picatta, which was good, and came with a generous portion of linguini. My friend had the steak tips (on the specials menu) which came with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Trivia was a lot of fun - more old school style of writing answers and point wagers on paper for each round, and bringing it up to the quiz master. We will definitely be back for trivia, and dinner, again soon!
