We have eaten here twice already within one week because of the delicious food. We had the stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and ahi for appetizers and they were just perfect. For dinner we had lamb shank & chicken souvlaki. The prices are extremely fair and definitely a regular spot for us now. The owner was friendly and staff was great. Very clean and new. Driving down Tustin and noticed a new restaurant and thought we would give it a try. Walked in and was given the warmest welcome from the owner Henry and his wife Telma. We sat down and ordered some tapas. Ordered stuffed mushrooms which I highly recommend as well as the lamb chop and tried Garbanzo beans Salad which was very very good. Henry would check in on us from time to time. I ordered the Lamb Shank and was not surprised on how good it was after tasting the tapas. Also a very good wine selection to choose from.The way everyone treated us there, made us feel as we were part of the family. Thank you so much Henry and Telma. This restaurant is so new and we were on our way to a another old favorite nearby and we decided to stop and take a look. We walked by and the place was empty so we were a little worried. They started us off with soft pita bread and some olive oil for dipping. Excellent! We decided to give this place a chance so we ordered One meal, shrimp Souvlaki and Tapas, all to share, like the lamb meatball, spicy shrimp tacos, Spanakopita, and the Caprese salad. All food served was really fresh, tasty, and excellently prepared. Prices were reasonable too. Perfect! There is nothing like this close and I can tell this place won't be empty for long! I absolutely love this gem of a restaurant that takes me back to my visit to Spain. The ambiance of the intimate place is comfortable and makes me feel like I have my own personal chef since everything is made to order. You can see the Chef make the dishes, I appreciate the hard work and love that he had for his work. The tapas are amazing, all that I have tried are delicious. There are many tapas to choose from, my personal favorite is the Arancini. The wine selection is spectacular, the Tempranillo and Spanish Red Blend went well with the lamb as well as the arancini's. Dessert choices included a number of cakes, we went with the lemon cake which was also delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try. I look forward to trying the entrees followed by the coconut raspberry cake. read more

We found Truffles Bistro last year for my husband's birthday. We returned for my mom's, mine, and our anniversary. Truffles is the best restaurant we've been in in a long while. Exquisite food, great service, extensive menu. We enjoyed the small plates, sharing tapas that ranged from octopus to you name it, entrees and paella. Even my gourmand husband who has been known to say, "we're going to that restaurant? we went there twice last year" wants to go back. Truffle Bistro has become our 'go-to' restaurant and one where we love to take friends. We initially just stumbled on it and have never looked back. The food is consistently terrific (we mainly order from the tapas menu), portions exactly right for two to share a variety, always a surprise or two with the tapas of the day and a very nice wine selection. This place is absolutely lovely and all of the food was very good. It is a small place and there was only one chef and waiter but it's charming. We ordered quite a few small dishes and they came out one after the other instead of all at the same time which was nice. Tried this local restaurant a week ago, it was fabulous! The menu is so appetizing with unique dishes that just aren't offered around Orange. Had a fabulous 1/2 bottle of wine called Montepulciano d'Abruzzo dal Tralcetto. It was so good my friend and I ordered another one. She had the Spanish stew and loved it, the broth was so good. We shared the Brussel Sprouts which were also great. I wasn't super hungry which I wish I had been so I just had the mussels and clams in wine sauce. Love the Tapas section of the menu. I believe this place will do great, the owner has owned multiple restaurants and knows what he's doing (he's the chef!). The only downfall is once the community tries it, there'll probably be a wait to get in. read more

This is a great new neighborhood/local restaurant with some very nice tapas and full plate meals. My wife and I enjoyed a nice tapas and wine happy hour/dinner and we really enjoyed the Lamb Meatball w/ excellent marinara and also liked the fried cauliflower which came with a spicy sauce. The great thing about the cauliflower is that it is not too greasy or unhealthy but has full flavor. We also tried the fried calamari which breaded but is nice and light and includes the addition of fried pepperoncini which helps make this a great dish. The wine selection is by the glass or bottle and the prices are good for the selection and size of the pours. Chef owner Henry also came out to our table and others to greet his guests and see how everyone was doing. Also, save room for the Tiramisu (house made) for dessert as it is among the best I have ever tasted...and I love Tiramisu so much we had it as our wedding rehearsal dinner dessert. Definitely worth trying this little gem in Orange and always great to dine at a restaurant where the owner is a skilled chef as you know you will get a great meal. We will be back. :) read more

Our new favorite place! We came in for tapas and ended up enjoying entrees as well. Everything was delicious. Our favorites were cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, chicken wings, and the stuffed mushrooms! Had the Mia Bella Farfalle and the mushroom cream sauce was incredible. My first visit here and definitely not my last. This place is an absolute gem! The three of us shared a bottle of wine and ordered tapas until we were full. The lamb meatballs are perfect. The cheese and cured meat plate is perfect, especially the onion cheese! It's like butter. We had the garlic truffle fries, two plates of wings, fried cauliflower, and more! Service is impeccable! Yummm! Just tried this place for the first time tonight with my mom. The service was amazing. Tony was our server and super awesome. He had great recommendations and was very attentive. The stuffed mushrooms were my favorite and whatever sauce is served with them should be dumped over everything. I was even dragging my truffle fries in that sauce (they need to serve that sauce for dipping the truffle fries in as well..just my opinion!) super cozy ambiance. We are always looking for really good restaurants in the Tustin/Orange area since we eat out every Sunday evening. We heard about the Truffle Bistro from friends, and we were so glad we went. We ordered drinks, appetizers, salads and entrees and all four of us loved our food, which is rare. The Chef and Owner, Henry knows what he is doing. We went a second time a week later because it was so good. Not only is the food delicious, the servers have been awesome and the drinks and wine are really good too. Really super good! Brought the fam in for a quick dinner, The interior was very stylish and comfortable. All the staff were wonderful, warm and friendly. We shared the arancini (huge and so tasty), the calamari (crispy and fried just right), the spanakopita (so rich and delish) and then we ordered, the Greek salad, the rib-eye steak, the lamb kabob, the lamb shank and the Gamboni Di Sophia pasta.
