What a great place to watch a ballgame! I managed to walk up and get some good seat for our group right before the game and were in and seated just in time for first pitch. The food stands were busy, so I waited until the game got well underway, the lines were shorter and had some great hot dogs, peanuts and cold beer! I always walk around ballpark to check out the views from the other seat and there is not a bad seat in the house! Like most minor league ballparks, it's always a lot of fun and at a decent price. I went with several of my alumni fraternity brothers to Niner Night at Truist Field. The event was sponsered by the UNC CHARLOTTE Alumni Association. It was in the Piedmont Natural Gas Pavillion behind left field. An absolutely incredible time. It was a beautiful night. They offered a covered section with a buffet from 5 to 7 pm. Food included hot dogs, barbeque and chicken. I was able to make a Carolina Dog with all the ingredients they had to offer. There are great views of the baseball field and the Charlotte Skyline from this ballpark. It is a very nice venue Although the Clemson beat my 49ers, we all had an outstanding time. We plan to see a Charlotte Knights game later in the summer, and if our Alumni Association sponsors a similar event, we will be there again. read more

I've been here for many baseball games over the years - as well as the Outdoor Classic when the Checkers played - and it's always a fantastic venue! It is super walkable and easily has one of the best views of the field and city skyline of any ballpark around. While it does feel like the food quality has declined slightly recently, the food is still good overall and doesn't take away from the experience. Any seat is a good seat. The team is pretty good. It's a great way to watch a good game of baseball and parking is so convenient. The parking sect is directly across the street from the stadium. Reasonably priced event and oftentimes you can see fireworks at the end of a game. read more

Bathrooms and bar stations everywhere. Company outing had us seated on the 3rd Base Party Terrace. Spectacular views of the field and skyline. Food was great and our bartender Kayla was awesome. Take an opportunity to enjoy a home game, have a beer and some popcorn or hot dog. The view is great! For parking use 410 South Mint in your GPS for Mint Street Parking. It's right next to Marriott Residence Inn. Additional Public Parking is located at 415 South Mint. Both are easily accessible to the stadium with an easy one block walk. read more

I like Truist Field. It gives "summer time vibes" because baseball hot dogs and burgers is summer time. What I did not like is not having a seat when buying $25 tickets to home run porch. It's misleading when buying. It's general Admission but when I bought the tickets it gave me a row to pick from and a seat number. WRONG. It's so big! I work at a smaller stadium, and I was amazed at how big it was. The staff when we first got there was really friendly and helpful. I got to go in the home base club, and it was amazing. It felt so good in there compared to outside lol. They had food, free popcorn, lots of tables, a bar. Everything you needed. I didn't try the food, but the drink I had was really good. I like that we got to keep our cups. It was cool walking about to look at all the vendors they had. We had a great seats outside of the home base. I thought it was very entertaining. The mascots were cool and funny. I like that they have the dragon breathe out smoke when they have a home run. I would attend another game! read more

KNIGHT & DAY Be it a Sunday matinee game or a Friday under the lights, it's always fun to support Charlotte's AAA baseball team. The minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, the Charlotte Knights have called Truist Field (née BB&T Ballpark) their home since 2014. The stadium has a capacity of 10,200 which is about the median for MiLB. It's a very hitter-friendly park, more prone to home runs than any other minor league stadium. I attended the game on 9/12/23 against the Nashville Sounds; Charlotte lost 5-3 because the Knights issued *checks notes* THIRTEEN WALKS in addition to surrendering ten hits. A loss is all but certain when your pitching staff allows a whopping 23 baserunners. Sheesh! I tried "Homer's Citrus Dog" ($9.50), a hot dog topped w/horseradish cream, scallions, chopped brisket, and what they called 'orange soda coleslaw'. It didn't taste good (orange soda, my ass!) and the bun fell apart as soon as I picked it up, so I wound up with a hot dog salad. Everything about this was f-a-i-l, and I don't recommend it. Get a polish sausage with onions instead. The Knights have one of the nicest outfield backdrops in the entire minor league system. The huge commercial buildings of downtown CLT rise like monoliths at night, glowing hues of white, blue, and purple. It's gorgeous during the day and even moreso once the sun sets. A dragon in centerfield blows smoke when a Knights player hits a homer! My ticket was $12, not too bad. A 16oz aluminum bottle of Michelob Ultra was $10, which is about what I figured. I stopped into the team store to check out the merch and saw T-shirts starting at $35. Guest services folks were nice and there were no lines for concessions (then again, it was a weeknight at the end of the season). * TL;DR * For many players, Truist Field -- not to be confused with Truist Park, home of the big league Atlanta Braves -- is the last stop before hitting the majors. I'd say the park's defining feature is the terrific view of the city skyline in center. I can't comment too strongly on the food as I only got one item, but it seemed as though there was decent variety (pizza, cheesesteaks, chicken tenders) and other than team-branded merchandise, prices were fair. This is a nice place to catch a baseball game, and for the most part it's pretty affordable. Come check out the Knights when you're in Charlotte! read more

We attended a Charlotte Knights game earlier this week and we had a great time! The game went into extra innings and the Knights won. We bought seats near third base and we had a great view of the field and the Charlotte skyline. Concessions were plentiful and the lines were not too long. The only downside was figuring out how to arrive and where to park. Unfortunately I didn't research enough and I was unaware that several of the garages adjacent to the stadium offered $10 event parking. If I had known that, we could have parked much closer. Lesson learned - I'll know better next time. This was definitely a good way to spend some family time and enjoy a beautiful summer evening. read more

Went for a company outing, sat in the picnic area. It's a beautiful stadium and every seat has a great view of the game. The picnic area included a buffet of all the ball park staples. Was very good. They did have fireworks at the end of the game as well. Check the schedule to see which games will have the fireworks. read more

We visited the Truist Field during their Christmas village season and it was absolutely beautiful! lights lit up the field along with lights through out the concession area. They had all sorts of vendors that provided food, coffee/ hot chocolate, and nicknacks for sale. Very beautiful! Snow tubing and iceskating were available with ticket purchase. It was a little unorganized. Even though we purchased tickets for snowtubbing, we still had to get in a separate line to get wristbands, and a second line to sign the waiver unless you done that online.. Long lines and no sort of direction.. easily able to lose your standing space as people rudely merged themselves in line out of nowhere. seeing the light display through the venue was very nice though. Santa was there for the kids, and there was also a station you can write letters and send them off as well. read more

We took our daughter and a friend to the Garth Brooks concert in Charlotte and my wife and I were looking for a way to kill time until the concert was over. Every restaurant near the football stadium has at least an hours wait. I hate waiting to eat. So after walking around in the sweltering heat, we discovered the Charlotte Knights had a home baseball game. We decided baseball stadium food for dinner sounded good PLUS taking in a game would probably take as long as the concert. WIN/WIN! We found the ticket office and the kid behind the window was friendly and helpful. Tickets were $24 each. We got our tickets down the first base line in right field and most importantly, in the shade. We each got a hot dog and drink with chips. They offer hotdogs several different ways. The hot dogs were really good. Our seats were comfortable with a good view of the field. There were little League teams there at the stadium with the resulting children constantly running up and down the aisles spilling their ice cream and treats everywhere which was annoying. Two strange things: 1) the wasn't an announcer for the game which was odd. 2) the scoreboard never showed replays. In this regard, the WS Dash are much better. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. The stadium was beautiful. Prices for food are what you would expect. Unfortunately. But all in all a pleasant experience. read more

It's "newer" and I remember watching it be built from the ground up, so I just feel like we go way back. I love the Friday fireworks during the season for home games. I went to opening night and the stadium was packed it took us 30 mins standing in line to get in and it took us an HOUR to get out we saw a home run happen and the stadium was loud. Great game and stadium but Riverstone Logistics Suites is pretty much a rip-off. Most of the food was lukewarm and all food was removed at the top of the sixth inning! Four more innings of baseball and no food? What the heck? Drinks were also super expensive as you had to buy a double to get a normal sized single outside the park. Came to see the baseball game on asaturday at 7pm. This stadium is fairly big with open areas. They have plenty of concession stands throughout the stadium, so anywhere you sit, you have access to the same food in any area you sit at. They offer normal baseball game foods such as hit dogs, fries, pretzels, beer, etc. Everything was super clean, including the bathroom, the many times I went. There is security as well as helpers around the stadium that help you navigate your way to your seats in case you are a bit lost. They have multiple entrances, and in those entrances, multiple lines, so you move quickly and swiftly and don't have to wait forever to get in. The lines for beverages and food also move quickly. They may look big, but they move pretty fast. Overall, it was always a pleasant experience when I came to this stadium. This is in uptown, so parking will definitely be a hassle, even in a parking deck. read more

One of the best minor league stadium you will find! The views are gorgeous and there isn't a bad seat in the house The food choices are decent, mac n cheese, BBQ, sausages, pizza, and nachos, to name just a few. They also have great drink choices, plenty of common and craft beer options, and my husband's favorite Yuengling. They have the usual activities between innings and fireworks on most Friday nights. I've been around my fair share of baseball parks, majors and minors, and Truist Field is one of the best. We came for a Knights vs. Norfolk Tide game, and the amenities were up to date, the environment (it was Dino Day) was exciting and fun, and good baseball was played! Especially as out of towners rooting for the away team, we also were met by very kind fans and people were way more talkative and chattier than what I'm used to with ballparks (in a very good way). Prices for food and drinks were on the lower end for stadium prices as well, which was an added bonus. All in all, I'd love to come back again for a game! read more

Certain Vendors you should avoid because they are stealing from you. First off my family has had season tickets for over 6 years and we love going to games. The security staff and office staff are always friendly, helpful, and all around incredible. With that being said the FOOD VENDORS are another story. I've had multiple experiences with rude vendors who have no interest in giving a good service. It's "what do you want? Ok pay this." That's fine but just wait there's more.... The worst part has been recently vendors will take your order and add the max tip and not say anything. I've been going to games for 6 years I know how it's supposed to work. You order, they put it in, they turn the kiosk and give you the option to tip, then you have the option to choose your receipt. That's not been happening they put in the order then push 18-20% and just say tap to pay you never see what is entered so if you aren't paying attention your $12 order is now $16-$17. Not a big deal but if you're ordering $30-$50 getting food for your family it adds up. Lack of honesty is a problem and it's legitimately stealing. read more
