Breakfast here was excellent! Everything from the French toast, to the huevos rancheros and big boy wrap, all around top notch food from this small cafe. Service was to be expected for a busy morning, not too long of a wait at all. It's pretty easy to overlook (they forgot to turn on the open sign) but once you find it you won't be disappointed. read more

The staff was rude, half way into our meal, the waitress puts the receipt on the table. We were there about 15 minutes. Soon as we put our forks down, the waitress said " you need to leave, I need the table". No coffee refills, poor customer service. They are more interested in turning tables over than taking care of people. I have never been treated this badly by a restaurant ever. My young son could not believe we were asked to leave!! We stumbled upon this place for breakfast today and couldn't have been happier with the food and service! The breakfast menu had a ton to choose from and the ingredients used (i.e. Cabot butter, real French gruyere cheese) were the icing on the cake. We both had the organic baby spinach and gruyere omelet, which was perfectly done. We loved the fresh, juicy orange segments served on the side! Service was very attentive and so friendly! We consider ourselves somewhat tough to impress when it comes to breakfast out, but this place definitely did the trick! Without I doubt we will be back! read more

Went on a Saturday morning. It was decently busy. The outdoor tables were very large but the server was only sitting two people at the table. Which didn't make much sense, because way more people could fit if the two parties were sat on either side. Smaller circular tables might be easier to seat more people. Took a while to order, and even longer for the food to get there. Despite this the food was delicious!! I had a black bean cheddar omelette and it was better than I could imagine. 5/5 on the food. When asking for the check, that took about 20-30 minutes, which was way too long. Overall excellent food, kind servers, but could use some better time management. read more

Stepped in with wife to try a new spot as we are residents. Couldn't find the place originally as there is no signage out front, no problem. We get inside and wait to be called, there is no one host/hostess to take times or names. A few more people come in and line up, finally one of the staff says how many and stares at the crowd trying to figure out who was there first. We get seated and order coffee and juice, that was quickly, two other groups get seated beside us. 20 minutes go by and no one has returned to receive our order. Then they come take the table next to us order first. At that point I paid the bill for the juice and left. No organization and poor attention to detail. poor service, can't review food as I didn't get that far. read more

Not sure who's in charge of management now but they completely changed things for the better. Adding Hispanic/Mexican touch and cuisine to their menu was/is an amazing game changer. Yesterday Jan 30 2022 4 of us went to the cafe and grill for breakfast . First I got a cup of coffee that kept leaking all over the table , no ones fault its happens. There was no heat on in the cafe with temps outside about 10 or 12 degrees , the two tables on either side of us were wearing their coats it was so cold. We ordered two orders of simple eggs and sausage and two omelets . It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the ladies to get their omelets . I told them to start eating because it was so cold in the cafe and the tables were stone cold . About 7 minutes later the first order of eggs came so I continued to tell the other three people to eat because it was so cold in there .As the third order came I said gee I wonder where my eggs are? The fella with us laughed and said they're making them now because we heard them scrambling the eggs as we spoke. Ok another 5 minutes while three meals are getting colder my eggs finally showed up. Three of our party mentioned that their feet were cold . two of our party live in Miami Fla . I grabbed the check $ 77.64 WHAT . The meals weren't listed individually and the price wasn't listed individually only a total WHAT . I paid it with 20% . $93.17 for four breakfasts , a cold room , cold feet and cold food . None of us finished our breakfast because there's nothing worse than cold eggs and we couldn't wait to get out of there to get to a warm place . I still can't figure how the bill came to $73 unless the egg ,cheese and sausage was $13 we took out the rest was tax and tip. As far as the meals tastes its really hard the mess up eggs so they were just fair . It will be a cold day in hell before I go back , no pun intended . $93.17 for a cold breakfast . read more

Awesome little hole in the wall. Great food and friendly staff. I had the chicken and waffles, both were tender and crispy at the same time. I've become a regular here for breakfast and lunch at least 3 times a week. The breakfasts are always spot on. Excellent, fluffy pancakes. Perfect omelettes. Corned beef hash! Nice fresh fruit garnishes. Good diner coffee. Lunches are good too. Regular diner fare. Excellent burgers and broiled chicken. Authentic Mexican food as well. Try carne asada and cochinita. Service stinks...food is good but they misfire often on bringing out the food succinctly. Some of the wait staff is nice and others not so friendly and will choose to ignore you if they decide your not who they want to wait on that morning. We've come almost three to four times a month on a Sunday since we moved to CT in the past 6 months and are becoming more and more disappointed. There was no wait to get in, so we gave it a try. The food was fine but it came out at all different times. And it took a while (at least 20 mins) for anyone to come take our order. I'm not sure if they didn't have enough wait staff or why there seemed to be some kinks to work out, but I hope they can work things out because we could really use a great brunch spot around here. read more
