Good food. Service can be slow. Place is very noisy when busy. The food more than makes up for it.

Seemed ok except the staff completely ignores the customers waiting. We left. Music was wayyyyy too loud for 10am too.

Tried this awesome new spot for breakfast this morning (hint, look for the "Marie's" sign as they haven't quite changed the lettering yet), and glad I did! Coffee was on point, refills were generously forthcoming, and after careful review of the menu I selected a breakfast burrito.. wise choice. It was utterly delicious, packed with authentic flavor and a genuine departure from your typical boring breakfast. Will definitely be returning for more, really excited to have a place like this in Trumbull. read more

So good! Food is wonderful. I had the Caprese Toast. So yummy. My friend had the Breakfast Tacos and loved them. Staff is so nice--friendly, fast. Clean, bright space. Busy. Please read this before choosing this place. The problem I have with this restaurant/diner is NOT the food nor the service. Food is very good and servers are attentive and efficient. My problem is the choices the owners make-starting with displaying a huge tv with Fox News on... but if you are a Republican I guess this would not be an issue to you. My biggest complaint is that this owner doesn't allow customers to add a tip on the credit card at time of payment. This means most of the time the hard working waitresses do not get a tip, unless you happen to carry cash with you, which is never the case with most people. So, if you decide to eat here and don't mind watch a channel that promotes lies and invents reality please bring cash with you so the low wage waitstaff can get a proper and well deserved gratuity. read more

We tried this place when we had family in town, and I was only sad I hadn't tried it sooner! Our group ordered huevos rancheros, pollo asado tacos, grilled cheese, club sandwich, and something like an open faced capresa sandwich (can't remember what it was called), and everyone left happy with their meal! Found this place traveling from Boston to NYC while stopping for gas. It's hidden off the main drag in a strip mall. I don't even recall seeing a sign for the restaurant. Food was delicious. I ordered the beet and dill salad. Very unique. Very flavorful. Fair portion. My husband ordered the chicken burro and said it was very tasty. They are excellent!!!! Avocado omelette was not in their menu but when i asked for it, they gladly made it for me. I didn't say how i liked it cooked but they made it perfect! Awesome! Mediocre at best. Ordered the berry and marscopone stuffed French toast which is so overpriced. $12 and it had one strawberry sliced thinly and mixed with mostly jelly and topped with canned peaches. The breakfast burrito was ok but the potatoes was mostly just potato skin. Will not be coming back even if my meal was free. Breakfast for two with coffee was over $35 after tip. My husband ordered the steak and eggs with hash and it was great as well. My son ordered the waffle which came with fruit and ice-cream, syrup was not needed. Two of us went for lunch but wanted breakfast food. Although sign said breakfast all day we were only given the lunch menu at just noon. Ordered eggs and pancakes anyway but menu might have enticed us into something else as omelettes and other items available. (Saw the menu online afterward) Food cooked well but nothing special and I didn't care for the crispy potato shavings they call home fries. Adding a small fruit garnish would up the presentation. Food is amazing. These are the people that were across the street, previously Trumbull sandwich shop (Marie's Cafe). Chicken and waffles are always a hit or miss because one aspect can be wrong, but both were amazing. The chicken is so crispy and juicy. The waffles are fluffy and full of flavor. My wife got the breakfast steak burrito which was spot on with chucks of steak. I had a few bites and all I can say is WOW. We will definitely be coming back and are so glad they are open again. read more

These people have a menu online total price per menu was under $50 they charged me $111 because it was weekend. Was a scam. Update the menu to let people know. Food was not great either. It's too bad because I like to support small local shops but this is ridiculous. Either don't list prices or be honest. Also they forgot order of sausage and we had to go back. We don't go to a typical diner for breakfast very often anymore They have a great variety of American and Mexican dishes for breakfast and lunch that are always fresh, inventive, and tasty! I also appreciate that they have a range of decadent to healthier food served here. It's rare to find a little place so focused on fresh food that you can tell they put care into.
