We had a caregiver for M-F days but needed someone for evenings and weekends. Everyone Sanam sent was wonderful. Experienced and caring. Never late, never left me without coverage. I even had a caregiver on Christmas. By November she was completely bedridden. My mother required medications to be given, she needed to be fed, diapers to be changed and they knew how to use the Purewick Catheter System (which I highly recommend). We had a hoya lift to get her in the wheelchair and they were all experienced in it's operation. At the end, I was so grateful for Iva, her experience told her my Mom was transitioning and it would be soon. I had time to call the family to come and we were all at her bedside when she passed. Finding caregivers for your loved one(s) is a terrifying prospect, especially when coupled with an urgent timeline. That's the scenario my family found ourselves in a few months ago. My mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness in a very short period of time. My father was her primary caregiver and was so overwhelmed that he couldn't handle finding caregivers for when she would come home on hospice. So I called around to various agencies and got quotes. They were all very kind and compassionate but Trusted Caregivers really stood out to me. Sanam answered the phone personally and we chatted about our situation and time sensitivity needs. After consulting with my father about all the options, I suggested we go with TCs. The day we brought my mother home, Brenda was already waiting for us. Brenda had the 8am-8pm shift (per our request and her desire to work that many hours) and she was incredible. She took such excellent care of my mother during her final days and showed incredible compassion for our situation. She even did light housework! In the evenings we had Sandra from 9pm-5am. She was an utter gem and I felt so good knowing that mom was taken care of during the night by such a great woman. Sandra personally requested that she work all the nights for as long as we needed and I made sure to double check that she wouldn't be too exhausted or overwhelmed with that shift. She was adamant on taking it and we're so grateful for her sacrifice and compassion. My mother passed away peacefully 2.5 days after coming home. Our situation was really difficult and the time constraints ("Hi, can you start on Monday and it's currently Friday and we need 24/7 care?") were tough. But Sanam and her ladies made us feel so well taken care of that I 100% would recommend TCs to anyone. It's so hard to know if you're getting a good agency for your loved one and I want you to know of our experience. You can expect the best care, compassion, and kindness from these women, and could not be in better hands. I highly recommend Trusted Caregivers and thank Sanam for all of her help. Sanam at Trusted Caregivers came through at a time when I really needed it. My brother needed overnight care following a minor medical procedure. I have kids at home and a busy business, and I couldn't do it myself. Ordinarily, they wouldn't take such a small job because he only needed transportation to and from the hospital, and then someone present overnight and through the next day at home until he recovered from anesthesia. I still can't believe how accommodating Sanam and her team were during my friend's trial with cancer. We needed overnight caregiving, and I'm embarrassed to admit this but I gave such short notice (on a Sunday night over a holiday weekend!!) and Trusted CareGivers came through. The caregivers transitioned easily each day, and informed one another regarding medications, and my mother's status during the shifts that they worked. My friend got a rhinoplasty done and through this service she was picked up by a nurse and driven home, the nurse took really good care of her, checked in on her often (did some nurse stuff, really don't know), and made sure my friend ate! Normally I'd chalk this all up to just good service and not write as I mentioned earlier but the nurse was so friendly that I had to. I contacted Trusted Caregivers during the pandemic when I was trying to find some additional care for my parents who were living on their own without any family nearby to help out. Sanam spent time with me getting know what my parents needed and also met with them. She worked with us to find the right person to help out my parents with shopping, cooking, cleaning, medication management, etc. She followed up to make sure that caregiver was a good fit for my parents. She was very easy to communicate with over the phone, text and emails. Over time, my mom ended up moving to an assisted living facility and Sanam worked with me find a different, more highly skilled caregiver, Cheryl, to assist my dad with his particular needs and grooming. Both Sanam and Cheryl were wonderfully warm, caring and helpful to my dad with both his personal needs and his sadness over my mom's move. My dad has since also had to move into a care home, but I still feel supported by Sanam and know that if I my parents need additional care, she will help provide it to them. My mom had a hip replacement and I Chose LA Care Provider Home Health Care Agency. The staff were wonderful. They immediately contacted me, and told me who and when they are coming. The nurse came in the same day (few hrs. after we arrived at home). The physical therapist called the following day for afternoon appointment. Then I had another call from the office to schedule a next morning appointment for bathing. Anyway, eventually all staff came in during the week. All the staff were both knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy with The Trusted Caregivers and Sanam. I broke my ankle and was unable to walk on my foot. I thought I would be having surgery and would need a caregiver to help me. I intervied Sanam and felt that her caregivers would me a good match for me. I ended up not needing surgery or her services on a daily basis but was in need of someone to help me get to several doctor appointments (all in one day). Although they don't normally do one day services Sanam was able to provide me with a caregiver for the day(9hours). Julia prepared a late morning meal, transported me to Kaiser and pushed me around in a wheelchair to three doctor appointments. Julia stayed with me and provided support during these appointments. We had a late lunch when we got home. She washed dishes, cleaned my stove and counters and did some light dusting. I felt as if I had spent the day with a caring friend.
