This place is so great! This is my first time in T or C and I love this town! For sure coming back. This brewery is so good! They have beers sours ales etc I drink cider since I'm GF and they were some of the best I've had anywhere. Tried the Sandia there and it was superb. I got a big ass cider to go. I was pleasant surprised by the tasty variety at this brewery. The had a nice mix of light, wheat, amber, dark and ciders. Big space inside with also outdoor seating in the front and back. It is a family business. They are related to Tony's Mexican restaurant and Mile Marker 7, all good businesses. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. You can eat in or take out. The wait staff is great and very helpful. The food was wonderful. They have specials and I got the prime rib when it was available. Everything is made from scratch. I highly recommend. read more

Thanks to this brewery, the town overall had a little more character to it. Both beers my husband got on tap (Valhalla Peach Wheat, and Cosmic Blonde) we're bright with flavor. We decided to try out this local brewery on a Friday night. What a great place for this small town. I had the Cerveza Gold and my husband tried the darker beers. All were very good. They had a great live band and the dance floor was packed. If you find yourself in TorC or plan a weekend lake trip this is a great add on to your trip. read more

With over 500 craft breweries visited, we look for solid line ups and a unique offering. TorC Brewing offers both. From the Dunkel to the Stout, the beers were really well executed. But the unique standout for this evening was the Monticello Amber Green Chile beer. Often times, Chile beers are hot for the sake of calling attention to the green chile. Not so on this offering. First up, you get the earthy amber tones as you should taste. Then, the roasted flavor of green chile shines through; tangy, bright, slightly warm, and alllllllll New Mexico. Growing up in TorC having a brewery in town makes me so excited. Now when I go home for a visit I have a great place to go grab a beer. The atmosphere is very industrial but inviting, the patio is dog friendly as well. The craft beer was well brewed, however there was a few that were out unfortunately. Hey, it happens! Beer! This makes it official: Truth or Consequences is a getaway. Because, you know, what else do you need? These guys have come out of the gate swinging and, for the most part, the punches are landing, these pints have huevos, man. This isn't to say any of the samples I sipped were terribly impressive, but for a small town operation with the audacity to audition, what, like twelve differing pours, they're doing a fine job representing the aggressive brewing culture of New Mexico. The majority of styles are heavy-hitting ABV (6-11%, the really dank stuff, Tripel and Winter ale, taste like it), but it was cool to see a three dollar, three percent Airstream ale available, as well. And like my favorite watering holes, they offer a solid selection of beers and ciders from local breweries around the state. What they really nail, moreover, is the small town vibe and country charm you're thirsting for. A couple of honky-tonk fellers were playing soft tunes while we sipped, and the place was relatively rockin' on a Thursday night. If you're hungry, the food truck out back, Me Gusta, suffices, although I also noticed they allow you to import your own goods. Kids allowed and they close around 10pm, 11 on weekends. Fun spot in a small town. The green chili beer is weird. I liked the small taste of it but don't think I could drink a whole beer of it. We got food at the food truck and felt that was a little lacking. It was cold and cold poutine is not really good. We had a great time playing cards and drinking on the patio though. It was awesome to get the flight of tasters too since we wanted to see what NM beer was like! Heads up, the cider is soooo sweet! It tasted like straight candy. read more

Wow what a find! The beers here are superb, across the board, and a few are spectacular. For me, the standouts are the Honey Winter Ale, and the Trippel, but I would happily drink anything in the lineup (except for the chile beer, but I can't stand chile beer). On nice thing is that the beers are all wonderful examples of their style--far too often a porter and stout will be indistinguishable, but not here! Just look at the picture: you can tell which is which just from the color of the head. And that is true for the taste as well. The brewer REALLY knows his stuff! Every person in T or C should get down on their knees and thank god that he decided to move here. I'll be back every chance I get.... read more

We had a wonderful time here. Everyone was super nice the entire staff was helpful and attentive. This was our first visit and the place was super busy, every table was occupied. We were lucky enough to snag two seats at the bar. My spouse had the pinot Grigio from black range vineyard which is a New Mexico winery. I typically will drink a stout or a wheat beer but the bartender recommended the Oktoberfest so I tried it and it was wonderful. I had a slight hop which I usually don't like but with the other nutty flavors it worked. The place was very close to our hotel that we just walked over. We also enjoyed the food offered at the food truck behind the building. They also had live music which we enjoyed. Next time we're in town we will definitely be back. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here (we were in T or C hiking and soaking in the hot springs) and the workers were super friendly and outgoing. People were out on the patio with their dogs and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Since it was our first time we both got flights to try their options.
