Returned for brunch on football Sunday! Absolutely adore this place. It's a chill vibe. Football lovers hanging out and cheering together? Sign me up!! The service was impeccable, as usual. It's always good to see Oscar!! He's the perfect balance of "are you good" and giving space. If you are in the area, and want a good dive/sports bar experience? Check out this place.

Love this place as my trusty local spot for a beer and burger after work. Service is alway kind and attentive. The vibe is absolutely a neighborhood spot.

This is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Great service, fun atmosphere, tasty food, a full bar, and plenty of outdoor seating. I like their nachos, buffalo wings, and steak. The burgers and sandwiches can be made with gluten free buns. And they have tacos on Taco Tuesday. I often recommend this place to visitors.

I was hanging out with a friend and we came here for a drink and a bite to eat. It's a cool place to hang out with friends and the beer options are solid but the food menu is uninspired. I figured a burger would be a safe choice given it's essentially a pub but my burger was so bland and dry that it was awful. Honestly one of the worst burgers I've had in a long time!

What options do you have for gluten free?

All of our burgers and sandwiches have the option to substitute for a gluten free bun. Our salads, shrimp tacos, fish and chips, salmon entree, nachos are all gluten free. We also have two brothers brewery gluten free beer.

What options on your menu are vegan or can be made vegan? Is the beet burger vegan? The bun? I know the Mayo isn't. Thanks in advance!

There is an impossible burger on the menu for $17. There are also impossible tacos made with ground "impossible" meat, pico de Gallo and guacamole.

They were offering the Restaurant Week menu, so we decided to take advantage of that. This included a drink, along with 3 courses, consisting of Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert. For the drink, I selected the Lazy River and only non alcoholic option, which consisted of Coconut, pistachio, mint, rosewater, lime, as well as seltzer. This was a bubbly, refreshing drink that was strong in Coconut and Lime. I had the Fried Calzone with sausage, tomato, mozzarella, and pecorino as the appetizer. This was 2 huge beautifully made Calzones, however there was barely any sausage. It was full of thick, melty cheese and well seasoned tomato sauce. The outer shell was wonderfully crispy. I just really expected and wanted to taste Sausage, so I was disappointed. I tried my friend's Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and I'm usually not that impressed by chicken, but I enjoyed this. The Fried Chicken was satisfyingly crunchy, tender, and flavorful. My entree was The Garrison Burger, which was a beef burger with raclette, confit onions, burger sauce, gem lettuce, and french fries. This was just okay. The meat was cooked well, but a little on the bland and dry side. The cheese with onion and sauce was a nice addition. Fries were thick, delightfully crispy with great potato taste. Dessert was Bread Pudding with sour cherries and buttermilk caramel. This was not a traditional Bread Pudding for me, but I did enjoy the rich, creamy caramel, as well as the cherries, which are my favorite fruit! I found the Bread Pudding itself to be thick, dense, and sweet from the caramel sauce. Service was pretty good. I wasn't that impressed by the food, but next time I would like to try the Piggyback Dates appetizer made out of dates wrapped in bacon with cheese inside.

Solid delivery satisfaction with Burgers, Shakes and Fries!…read more In pre-COVID, I have been to this location but my latest review is based on two deliveries via Uber Eats in October 2021z Food: The quality of the burgers is always high in my experience with Burger Heights with quality ingredients and cooking. The four different burgers were all tasty and I like the option to customize my orders as needed. Overlook Burger for $8.99 made with Swiss Cheese, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Onions, and Heights Sauce. The Impossible Burger for $14.99 made with 100% Plant - Base Burger, Vegan American Cheese, Raw Onion, Lettuce, Tomato, and Ketchup. Amsterdam Burger for $9.89 made with Cheddar Cheese, Guacamole, Lettuce, Tomato, Chipotle. The Wordsworth Burger for $9.49 made with Swiss Cheese, Grilled Pineapple, Ham, Tomato, Lettuce, and BBQ sauce. My favorite burger was the Wordsworth! The pineapple added a nice flavor. The impossible burger is good but pricey. We ended the burgers with fries half regular and half sweet potato for each order which was nice to compliment the burgers. Shakes: The very thick shakes are always a good match to a good burger so I have enjoyed a variety of shakes here. Cookies & Cream, Black & White, Strawberry, and Dulce de Leche for $7.99 each. My favorite flavor was Dulce de Leche. The cookie and cream had chunks of cookies which was a nice touch. Packaging: From the two deliveries, we had a great experience with everything in order with condiments and napkins. It is always important to have your shake as soon as possible especially to get the best taste! Overall: As expected, Burger Heights delivers with solid food and drinks. It is great to have a local favorite in Washington Heights! Hope to order to soon again!
