I tried this place at the Bee Cave Farmers Market. Best pork dumplings I've ever eaten.

Best dumpling I've ever had - perfectly light and crispy and the filling was to die for. I had both the beef & the chicken

Never had it before but it did not disappoint. The cut is fatty since it's the head but the meat was tender and delicious. Paired with the homemade tortillas and salsa it was a 10 outta 10. The staff was so kinda and I was able to tour where they cook all the meat. The time and effort that is put into making the food is a true work of art. The TENDERISM was so real . I will be back again to try the other cuts since it was so good . I believe they do tend to sell out so the earlier the better .

Great experience and very authentic barbacoa…read more This isn't a typical restaurant setting. It's more of an outdoor, picnic-style setup that honestly feels like you're at a family barbecue, which made the experience even better. The food was excellent. The birria and barbacoa were rich, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell the meat is cooked the traditional way. They also offer traditional cuts like cabeza and lengua. I tried them even though they're not really my personal preference, but I appreciated that they offer those authentic options. What really stood out was the hospitality. The gentleman working there was awesome. He showed us the barbecue pit and even gave me a taste of fresh lamb barbacoa straight from the pit, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. At the end they were already cleaning up and closing, but I asked for a jamaica and he still brought it over and didn't even charge me for it. Great food, authentic cooking, and genuinely friendly people. It felt more like a family cookout than a restaurant, and I'd definitely come back.

My first visit to T-Loc's Sonora Hot Dogs and wow, what a way to be introduced to this spot!…read more I met up with a fellow Yelper friend and we got there not long after opening, which turned out to be a very smart move. While we were waiting for our food, it suddenly became a whole scene, it was National Hot Dog Day, and the line just kept growing and growing. People were fully committed too, hot dog shirts, hot dog hats, I'm pretty sure I saw a walking hot dog at one point. Add in folks bringing their own ice chests of beer and it felt like a little hot dog party. We decided to go big and ordered every kind of dog they make so we could share and try them all. A super sweet lady brought our order out to us, which I loved. No waiting around trying to hear someone shout out your name. And let me tell you, every single one was damn good. You really can't go wrong here. My favorite ended up being the classic chili cheese dog, because apparently I like to keep it old school, ha. But seriously, Mr. T-Loc knows exactly what he's doing with his chili recipe! I also tried an agua fresca for the first time and now I get the hype. So refreshing and good. Next time, I've got my eye on one of those big burritos because they looked crazy good, no joke. Accessibility wise, they do have accessible parking, which is a huge plus. The seating is a mix of circular and standard picnic tables, some with shade, but not the most wheelchair-friendly setup. They do have a ramp up to the covered area and I made it work by parking at an angle at the end of a table, nothing was getting between me and those dogs. Bottom line, this is a must try spot if you're craving great food and don't skip on the fresh made agua fresca!

I wasn't expecting much, and as far as the decor goes I got what I was expecting, but the food was much better than I expected. They had salt and pepper wings listed in their chalkboard outside so I ordered that - these are the best wings I've had in a while, with a crispy tasty outside but moist insides. It even came with actual peppers which were also surprisingly tasty, and I'm not into peppers (or veggies in general). A bonus for me was that they were all flappers - of course if you like the drums you would have been disappointed. I also got the Hu Tieu Ap Chao which says it is pan-fried rice noodles but turned out to be rice cakes - again surprisingly delicious, nice and crispy outside, soft and yummy inside. The beef and veggies it came with were also surprisingly good. Hope ordered a pho with beef and tofu which was also good, especially the broth. Service was decent, but it was not crowded so not sure how it would be during a busy time, if any. Looking forward to returning to try some of their other dishes.

Combo Hu Tieu Ap Chao ($19.95): Wow, definitely a must-try! The combo includes 3 proteins and they let us choose our own (beef, pork, and shrimp). The fried rice noodles came out so crispy and delicious. However they used thin noodles instead of thick, flat ones. Banh Bot Chien ($11.95): The fried rice cakes weren't as crispy as we would have liked, but everything else about the dish was still really good. If the rice cakes had that nice crispy texture, we would absolutely recommend it. Fresh Sugarcane Juice ($5.95): It was fresh, but we wished it were a little colder and sweeter.
