The food and drinks are okay but OMG THERE IS AN ADORABLE LITTLE DOG!! So smol～ The owner's dog just roams around the store and on the street nearby, hands down the best advertising ever. Literally went in for the dog. The whole store is named after the dog and even the store logo is the doggo! They have these cute little polaroids of him around the store. I didn't actually get to try their soda but they have some pretty good teas. Unfortunately, they didnt offer it hot as the milk was refrigerated. The drink was also a little too sweet. BUT WHO CARES BECAUSE DOGGO! The staff there was also super friendly (and also speak Mandarin). They told us that little doggo was actually getting old now but still full of energy and loving the petting. This place has officially become my #1 favourite cafe, and to think I only stumbled upon it because Sugar Lab was closed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (unless you don't like dogs.....) read more

...I'm really torn between giving them 2 or 3 stars, and I honestly WANT to give them 3, but I feel that if I went with 3 I would just be giving in to their cute aesthetic and being too generous with the rating. Despite the two star rating I didn't have a terrible experience with them. I had a Pine Green Tea w/ Cheesy Foam and White Pearls added, and there were lots of good things happening. The tea is brewed fresh when you order and the drink was served with the teabag still in, which I loved. They don't add any milk or sweetener, it's just straight up tea. The tea itself had a smooth, gentle flavour, and it went well with the cheese foam. The flavour of the foam was also pretty good, it wasn't salty like many other places are doing but still had a distinctive cream cheese flavour. However I would have liked if it were a little thicker - I like to be able to taste the drink and the foam separately, but the foam mostly just mixed with the tea (which was still a good taste, just not what I'm really looking for when I order cheese foam). The pearls were the one thing that was really questionable - maybe I just had the wrong expectations, but when I see white pearls, I expect more or less normal tapioca pearls, just white. Honestly I'm not totally sure what these were, and I wonder if they maybe gave me yakult boba balls or even lychee boba balls by mistake. They weren't hard like undercooked tapioca but weren't chewy like normally cooked tapioca either, and seemed vaguely sweet. They weren't bad per say, but I had no idea what they were, which was offputting. Service was not great. Guy at the register seemed shy and a little inexperienced but friendly, and even though I had trouble hearing him because he spoke so quietly I wasn't bothered enough by it to dock points. But then when he brought me my drink he told me he forgot to charge me for the pearls and asked if I could come back to pay the extra 80 cents. Of course I was fine with having to pay, I knew what I ordered and I knew that there was an extra cost, but I did find it a little unusual that I was asked to come back to the register after waiting probably about five minutes for my drink. Maybe this is harsh of me, but I'm generally under the impression that if you forget to charge a customer for something, that's on you. Service was definitely on the slow side, but as they were making everything fresh I sort of expected as much. Redeeming qualities here: the concept is really cute, the shop is themed around the dog (who I didn't see while I was there but who I hear is often around), and they make everything fresh, the tea itself is high quality, and if you get one of the fruit drinks they give you a fork for the fruit (which is something I never see anyone else do and annoys me a ton when I get fruit tea at other places). But I cannot give as many stars as I really wish I could because of the inexperienced service and questionable toppings. I think I'll come back to try the soda tea because that seems to be what they're really known for and I really want to be able to change my rating. read more

Adorable little place for bubble tea. Love their cutesy aesthetic. They carry all the typical bubble teas along with their signature line of fruit tea sodas that come in various "fruity" tea flavours and have fresh fruit pieces inside the drink to be eaten afterwards. I had the yakult soda and my friend had the passion fruit soda. I was impressed by how they had actual passionfruit seed pieces and how some of the fruit inside the drinks became carbonated. They also had the popping pearls in the drink which was pretty creative. They have the cutest cups with their dog on the logo and they tape a fork onto the drink for the fruit. The prices range aroung $4-6 but could increase with toppings. Service took at least 20mins but there were a few other people and the staff working there were nice but quiet. Would come again if I happened to be in the area. read more

Many interesting drink choices here. The prices do seem quite high when scanning through the menu. 'cause I'm adventurous I decided to give the pine tea with cheese foam and meatfloss. Yes, meatfloss! I thought this would be for the gram kinda drink 'cause I've had pine stuff at starbucks and elsewhere remembered (after I put in my order) that I hated it. Oh wells.... The tea turned out to be quite light and didn't have that strong pine smell/taste. The meatfloss on top didn't really do much in the first few sips and was just an addition of savoury to the palette. At some point in my journey away from the shop the cream, the meatfloss and all got mixed and it started to taste a bit odd. So tip: do NOT mix. Just sip at 45 degree angle. The shop is pretty small with only 3 or 4 tables, but most of the customers got their drinks to go. We wanted to try the peach and the lychee soda tea, but they didn't have it so we got the passionfruit and strawberry soda tea instead. For the medium size, it was around $6-7, pretty standard for drinks of the same size. It also came with a fork to eat the fruits inside. Visited T's home around 2:30 PM. It was a small shop, but the interior was clean and nicely decorated. Their signature drink is the Soda tea, which comes with a variety of different flavours like mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, etc. I got the medium passionfruit soda tea while my friend got the peach soda tea. Unfortunately, the dog wasn't there when we went. The passionfruit soda tea was very refreshing, especially with the fizz. There were 2 slices of watermelon, a grape, slice of lemon and lime, a small piece of pineapple, and some fruit pearls (popping pearls). There were very few passionfruit seeds but the flavour was there. I did like how they put popping pearls in the drink though, as they complimented the fizz well. Overall, the drink wasn't too sweet which I liked and it was great that they used fresh fruits. As a result, the drink was very enjoyable. The drink itself was $6.75 for a 700 ml. It is a little pricey but I thought it was justified by their use of fresh fruits and the size of the drink. Service was okay, the cashier was blunt and straightforward. Although she indicated she was new, I didn't think it was a good enough reason to not smile at customers. Another thing was that we couldn't find a garbage can anywhere in the shop. They had one behind the counter so the cashier took the empty cups/napkins from us and threw them away. Please note though that she was in the middle of preparing a drink, so it wasn't very hygienic in my view. Very good and refreshing drinks. The fruit bubbles pop in your mouth. It's weird (in a good way), but reminds me of candy. It's nice to see them prepare and cut fresh fruits in store. I wish I had the opportunity to see the dog! The store is very clean, but small - total capacity is 10 people. The drinks remind me of those at Yi Fang (on Robson), but it didn't taste sugary or artificial, which I liked! Drinks are around $5-8. The menu is small, but easy to read and understand. They messed up our order even though we were one of the 2 groups there. We also waited over 20 min for our 2 drinks and an ice cream. Overall, good drinks and I will come back maybe on a hot summer day. A useful tip is to order online on their website and then pick up after because the wait is quite long. read more
