Great breakfast with a unique menu. I always find something there to try that is different. And although I may love my breakfast this time I usually try something else the next time because they mix it up so much. I love that they have avocado toast and I love that they serve yogurt with fruit. They're great with the kids and the service is always excellent. Today I visited T's Restaurant in Cranston, RI to catch up with a wonderful friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. It has been some time since I too visited T's and we agreed to meet here since they are centrally located in Cranston, RI, and we both shared positive experiences here previously. T's is lovely with beautiful local paintings displayed on the walls, warm color scheme, and comfy upholstered booths. I ordered the French Toast with a coffee and I must say it is the best I've had thus far as they add a dollop of what seems to be a medley cinnamon, butter, and maple. Price was typical for dine in breakfast. Now the service is usually outstanding but today was a shocker! Mid meal the waitress asked if we wanted to box our meals to which we responded we are eating. She then passed shortly after and placed the check on the table and asked me "would you like to box that to go?" ...mind you the fork and knife was still in my hand with food. I had no words...none... I just looked at here like "really?!" What typically set T's Restaurant apart from the rest was their service. We've waited 30-40+ minutes for a table BECAUSE of T's thoughtful service. Now that that is out the window, what do they have going for themselves?? I used to work at the one in Narragansett. I love the decor of their restaurants. It's so cozy and clean. My absolute favorite order is the rose window waffle. A very dependable if predictable breakfast place. Nothing unusual or very different but as I said very dependable. The omelets in particular are usually done quite well and the potatoes are just right. Coffee is fine although I prefer the mugs they had a few years back. Came here with a friend for a late Sunday brunch and was quite surprised that 1 hour to closing there was still a packed restaurant. That was a good sign that this place must be doing quite well. I had a couple of higher rated brunch places but this one was attracting due to the private parking which had ample parking space. Wait was quite quick about 2 minutes for a table but we could have sat at the bar right away. "The Raving Fan" Omelette was calling to me and I'm glad I did. The steak cheesy goodness was definitely worth it and the chipotle gave it a good kick. The home fries were typical as well as the four slices of buttered toast. Still can't complain for the price and I was definitely adequately stuffed. My friend ordered the Park Avenue Platter where he substituted the pancakes for two buttermilk pumpkin pancakes as well as the corned beef hash (restaurant made) which were recommendations by our server. They were definitely good and the pancakes didn't require additional syrup. We split the bill which came up to $20 each with tip. Well deserved and we weren't rushed out despite staying a bit longer than the 3 PM closing time. Much appreciated and great value for the money! read more

Typically, we enjoy T's. But this was the first time we had gone back since COVID-19. We went in for breakfast on a Wednesday morning in June, and there were a decent amount of people here for a weekday morning around 9am. First thing is first. The server brought out a children's menu five minutes after we were seated. We came with our 5-year old son. It goes downhill from here...when it came to the drink orders: They didn't have green tea, which is listed on the menu. So I switched to English breakfast tea. The server kept apologizing saying they keep getting a random selection of teas, so she brought our Earl Grey and Camomile, which I was not in the mood for that morning. I laughed it off and just ordered an unsweetened iced tea. The food took a while to arrive. On the plus side the children's menu/placemat kept us entertained. Unfortunately, we didn't get any crayons or writing utensils to do the activities. Thankfully I had a pen in my purse. My son had fun passing the time regardless. When our order came out, I didn't get my home fries and my son got home fries instead of fruit in his kids meal. So, they accidentally switched the side dish selection. The fruit was old :( which was so disappointing. The melon was inedible. I'm pregnant and I am very careful and wary when it comes to spoiled fruit and food. I was so upset. Also, when my son ordered his pancake he asked politely for whipped cream, and the server said yes of course we can do that (cheerily). Want to make a guess what happened? Yes, no whipped cream on my son's little pancake. My husband and I did not complain because at that point, thankfully, my son completely forgot he asked for whipped cream. It had been so long since we ordered haha. But I was upset, not visibly. The reason I'm still giving this 3 stars is based on the fact that I know that when I had been to T's in the past, it was good! I don't know what happened...this was a shocking breakfast experience for us! The bill came to $45 and we paid $60 in cash (we still tipped fairly well), but we will not be returning to T's anytime soon! read more

Delicious and nutritious (of you want it to be!) this is one of my Wife and I's favorite go to breakfast places, they're defiantly a dollar or two more per person but they've been offering Yelp check in deals and they always deliver the right quality and value even when there aren't any coupons or deals! Mind you when I say the price is a dollar or two more we aren't talking about the Ritz here, it's just a little more than your average diner, and well worth the price. They have a rotating seasonal portion of their menu and a standard long standing menu, both of which have lots of great offerings! They are especially good at making Omelette and eggs Benedict dishes that repeatedly surprise me at the new tasty highs they achieve. If you aren't a fancy breakfast booger like myself, they provide plenty of standard breakfast options that are delicious. If you like spiced or cheese ask about the Buffalo homies or the southwest homies, both are quite good and can add some nice variety! read more

T's has always been my go to breakfast spot. This time was quite different though. We were asked if we wanted to sit at the counter, and sure enough that's just where we sat. We were greeted by two awesome servers, who went above and beyond. One we even had previously right before our wedding and she recognized us! Onto the food! I got a #1 with Buffalo homefries and chocolate chip pancakes. It was your typical delicious breakfast, the only thing I would say is even though I asked for the bacon extra crispy it wasn't and I wouldn't recommend the Buffalo homies as they call it if you like your homefries crispy. If seeking out some good breakfast in Cranston, then T's is an excellent choice. They have an extensive menu, a large restaurant with plenty of space to accommodate diners during busy times, friendly staff, and very good food. My garden eggs benedict was very good and had just the right amount of Hollandaise, not too much, and not too little. I have been to T's a couple of times and each time I have had a very tasty meal. I went to T's last week with my friend and we didn't plan it very well because when we walked in the place was packed. We only waited about twenty minutes since we were a party of two. The tables are small and you get a little to up close and personally with the people sitting next to you. I ordered a hot chocolate with the corned beef hash, 2 eggs over hard, and home fries. Their hot chocolate is good and comes with a heaping pile of whipped cream. I have to say they have some of the best corned beef hash and It is definitely not out of a can. It has big chunks of corned beef and potatoes. The home fries are seasoned and fried. I enjoy them a lot and try not to leave a single one on the plate. My friend had one of the eggs benedict specials. He cleared his plate so I am going to assume he really enjoyed it. I know that you are not suppose to assume anything but oh well. The waitress was friendly but the place was so busy we barely saw her. They are very consistent here but make sure you get there early on weekends because once it hits 10:30 everyone and their grandma shows up. read more

Quite possibly my favorite thing about Rhode Island is T's. I'm going to miss it while I'm back home in NY. The service is impeccable, so polite and very prompt. The ambiance is cheerful and welcoming. Then it comes down to the food, which is absolutely spectacular. I really appreciate a place that has so many options and also has a seasonal menu. My favorite is the narrangansett skillet with poached eggs, just can't go wrong with that. They have different flavored coffee, which I always go for. Their pancakes are huge and fluffy. The home fries are addicting and always fresh. The muffins are also made fresh everyday, try the pistachio one and thank me later. They also serve brunch drinks like mimosas and such. To top it off their prices are moderate and the portions are huge. It's never a miss here but always a hit! A girl from NY can always appreciate a good diner and this is one of the best. read more

My husband and I love this place! It can get packed on weekend mornings, but T's is worth the wait (usually 15-20 min max). We were both addicted to the Fireside Skillet, which included buffalo home fries (ah-mazing!), poached egg and hollandaise Benedict with shave steak. I've been here three times and I hate to say, the tea and grapefruit have been the best thing at the table. This establishment is usually pretty loud and very family oriented. Quite busy during brunch hours and super, super busy on weekends. If you come for the drinks, great! Enjoy. If you come for breakfast, bring an Advil. I feel like its hard to really mess up breakfast. T's isn't a place I would wait for 45 minutes for again, but if it was free and clear I'd surely stop in. I was late to meet my friends as usual, but luckily this meant I only had to wait for 25 of the 45 minute wait to get in for brunch on Columbus Day. They should do a coffee service or something when waits get long...I legit contemplated running back to Reservoir Ave to get a coffee until we could go in. The waitress sat us over in the dining room next to a window, you could tell we were a bit of a larger group as a 2 top was placed next to a booth to accommodate 5 adults and a toddler. Coffee came out fast, and our waitress was really pushing to take our orders ASAP. I'm not sure if they had to flip the tables quickly or what, as the line outside was still growing and it was past 1 (remember they close at 3). 2 friends ordered off the lunch menu, another got the rose waffle without yogurt (as they didn't know what brand it was and certain ones upset his stomach), and I got the Narragansett skillet. So the food was good, but definitely was not made to the description. The skillet was supposed to have maple sausage in the apple sausage hash....it was made with ham steak or Canadian bacon instead. How do I know this? I draw the line with pork products at the occasional breakfast sausage. Bacon, ham, chops, etc....do not enter my system unless mixed in something i can't pick it out of or request it not to be in. Apple maple sausage hash sounded soooooo good, instead the apples were nearly raw and the sausage was not sausage. The homefries did come with a warning that they were a home fry hashbrown hybrid, so i took that with a grain of salt as the potatoes presented to me were battered and fried. I asked for the hollandaise on the side, and I'm glad I did. It needed a bit of stirring, and i couldn't put my finger on if it was house made or a mix. One thing I'd love to see them offer is that you can get the homefries with a sandwich. I totally would have gone for a more lunch like option (as it was 1 or so by the time food was delivered) if i could have gotten those instead of chips or fries. read more

The hostess wasn't the most pleasant; started carping an attitude when we asked to be seated as the last person in our party of 10 walked through the door. We called in advance letting them know our plan to surprise one of their servers in need. We finally were seated and our breakfast was delicious! What made our meal was our Server named Dallas, she was fantastic considering we were a large group. Dallas never missed bringing more water, coffee, tea, or anything else requested. We surprised her with a special holiday tip! Her gratitude was beyond reproach! The energy made breakfast more delicious and enjoyable! I don't frequent the Cranston location as we often go to East Greenwich and have always enjoyed our meal. I had the opportunity to stop at the Cranston T's location. It's definitely a spot that fits down south somewhere. We were immediately greeted by several happy and inviting hosts. Their matching uniforms/ dress code made you appreciate their paying attention to professionalism and details. It's something to notice. Their menu was clean, crisp and fun to read. In fact Everything was clean and crisp. I ordered one of their omelets with all of the fixins - home fries and chibata bread. I really appreciate their fresh ingredients. I've heard people rave about this place for a long time so it had a lot to live up to and luckily it did. Even though it was very busy, the wait was not long and the staff was very friendly. The food was just as great as the service. I had a brunch bowl that left me satisfied but not stuffed which can be a fine line with a bowl full of eggs, hash, home fries, toast and hollandaise sauce. 12/28/17 - I hate to do this but I have to knock my review down from 5 stars to 3 based on the revised menu. My husband and I normally get the same breakfast (Farmers Market Omelet) which we were happy to see is still on the menu. The good changes are they now serve it with homemade bread and a delicious jam. The negatives - the price of the dish went up slightly but they now allow you to pick your side without an up-charge. Initially I thought this was a good thing because I always paid the up-charge because I wanted the fresh fruit. The size of the side of fruit on the new dish is soooo tiny. You basically get 1 strawberry, a few grapes and a few blueberries which is disappointing. They also switched the onions to red onions and no longer cook the veggies all the way so they are still pretty crunchy and don't sit well with my stomach. Lastly the options they used to offer are no longer there -- no more cinnamon apples, less selection on the bread etc. Although these changes may seem minor to you (and some of them are) previously I was able to justify spending a little bit more on our breakfast ($33 including tip) as it was a treat... now T's has fallen out of our top spot for breakfast. read more
