    Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken

So happy to have some good boba in the area. I got the mango coconut tea. It's giving HeyTea a run for their money. It was perfectly coconutty and mango. The popcorn chicken was also sooo crispy and juicy. Love this shop.

It was 100 degrees outside with 1,000% humidity and I needed a drink. This shop sells various teas, milk tea, fruit tea, slush and offers the typical boba shop toppings. It also has an extensive snack menu. I ordered the coconut cream slush with mango and crystal boba and I ordered it with 0% sugar. Topping were not as plentiful as the picture inside on the order kiosk and if I knew otherwise I would added some sago topping to the drink also. It was still slightly sweet but not overwhelming. My drink absolutely did the job of hydrating me. Casual. Order via kiosk but staff was very nice to answer questions. Please come and create your own adventure.

I had been eyeballing this place very closely as it was being built and finally had a moment to stop in and I am so glad I did. Based on some reviews I read I knew I wanted to try the popcorn chicken and a doughnut. The doughnuts and chicken were so good but the purple potato boba tea was fine, not the best I've ever had. I think it was probably on me because I may have ordered wrong. The way to order here is to go up to a computer select what you want how you want it and then check out. The inside of the restaurant was super cute, very photogenic, and had lots of Things to look at while I waited.

I knew I was going to be in the area today so I place an order through Yelp (GrubHub) for pick up. I know this is a bit more expensive I thought it would save me time. I never been to this location so I didn't know when you come in everyone orders from a kiosk! I arrived to the location before my schedule pick up so I just waited. The restaurant is getting quite a bit of foot traffic however not many stayed to dine in so it was very quiet. The decor is very cute like designed for the insta shots I ordered shrimp shumai, pork dumplings, and a passion fruit and lime green tea light ice and 50% sweetness. My tea was the highlight of my meal!!! So delicious. The shrimp shumai were okay, they didn't really taste like anything. The dumplings were good and I am loving the chili dipping sauce. I will definitely be back my daughter wanted to come here for a while now.

We stopped in on their opening weekend. This is our first time time trying Tsaocaa and we really enjoyed our drinks. We got a traditional brown sugar milk tea and an Oreo milk tea with milk foam(cheese foam). We ordered a peach bubble waffle, and it was gifted a strawberry doughnut. Both words, flavorful and fresh. The donut was super light, but still very sweet. It will definitely be a staple on our list each time we go we were both surprised by the flavor of the bubble waffle, it packed a lot, but didn't taste super artificial. These prices were in line with other shops in the area and for the quality and quantity. All the food was good. My favorite part was the atmosphere. Therefore a couple of family members who were celebrating the open weekend so they were all excited and made for a Super lively feel. The cute decorations make you feel happy and jovial.

Grand Opening today and there was a BOGO promo for the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. It was alright and opted for no Boba and got Nata Jelly. Ordered the Korean Honey Garlic 10 pcs. It was flavorful and had the right crisp. However, the 6 piece Fried Shrimp Shumai was very tiny and barely had any taste. Had to dunk in the sauce for flavor. It was the 1st day at this Tsaaoca, will have to try other items on the menu.

Full disclosure: been stalking this location for signs of a soft open and today we lucked out! The staff is so friendly and everything we had was just as good at the other locations we've visited. Key loves: Jasmine milk tea w boba Melon and watermelon green tea (my son loves lychee popping boba in it) Ube mochi donut Pink velvet waffle I recommend going light on the sweetener in the drinks as even the regular boba are quite sweet to me.

I have visited this cute little boba shop twice when in the St. Johns area, and have had good experiences both times. I like that you can order on the screens, although when they are busy, the wait can be long. I scrolled through and placed my order and easily paid with my credit card right on the screen. It took maybe 10 minutes to make my drink, and it was delicious. The prices of these teas keep going up, but it's everywhere. The product is consistent and I will go back even though I know it's going to be a $7 drink. We've also tried the chocolate bubble waffle, which is a delicious, crunchy treat. The bathroom was clean and the workers were friendly. The shop itself is absolutely adorable and all themed. They have good wifi too. I had a meeting and then a virtual meeting and was able to easily connect. They have a large parking lot since this is in a "new to me" plaza. My favorite order is the ruby milk black tea with coconut milk and boba, 30% sweet. It is soooo delicious and really is a treat. I've also tried the frozen coconut slushie with boba, and that is great on a hot day too.

    Mango Pomelo Sago

Consistent quality and service, great variety of drink, options, cute, ambience, convenient location. So happy to have a Tsaocaa location in St. John's other than the Beach Boulevard location. Ordered the fresh taro milk tea and mango pomelo sago drink. The milk tea was OK, I would recommend going 70% sweet (rather than 50%, sweet). The mango pomelo sago drink was super good, very creamy and filling.

This place is amazing!! We came for a special birthday treat for my daughter and we all were super happy with our choices! We can't wait to go back to try more flavors. This is the absolute cutest place- very clean and well decorated. Even the bathrooms are nice! Our drinks were made to perfection and the staff were super sweet answering our questions. We can't wait to go back!

We have had our eyes our Tsaocaa once we saw it was getting built. Once we saw they did Korean Fried Chicken we really started counting down the days. Ashley made it there before me since I was out of town but this time it was my turn. I will say we were not that hungry but we were craving Tsaocaa for my first time. We called in our order and went with the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken and the Spicy Popcorn Chicken. They told us it would be really in 10 minutes so we went that way. Once we arrived I was very surprised how nice it was on the inside. White and Black marble or quartz all throughout. The place isn't that big on the inside and you just order at the counter. We picked up our popcorn chickens and you could tell they were super hot and super fresh so we hurry back to the car to eat at home. We got into our popcorn chicken and wow, for $6.75 each they put a good amount of chicken in here. Taiwanese was new to me and I had never had anything like it. I had flavorful seasoning, were still very hot and the chicken was nice and tender. I will say both of these popcorn chickens use dark meat so just a heads up for those who are not a fan. I will say you are wrong but still. The Spicy was very similar just with a spicy seasoning. I will say neither were very crispy but that could have been from the steaming in the box since again they were fresh out of the fryer. If I had to pick one I will say I preferred the spicy but both were good and it was very close. I will for sure be coming back since I saw they have a Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and well as Korean Fried Wings and Drumsticks. Also they are cheaper then the other Korean Fried Chicken restaurant down the street so come here.

Both boba tea were lumpy, taro tea had a cake like crumbs in it and mango tea had strands of mango which have a very unpleasant flavor.

Unfortunately, that's the last time I'm gonna use that word in this review . The shop it's itself pretty small. Not an outright problem, but it does limit a few things. Sadly anybody that's got a wide set of hips or a larger backside is not gonna be comfortable in any of the chairs that they have at this location. That's fine if you're not trying to entice customers to sit and enjoy their food there, but it was unfortunate to find myself in a situation where my hips did not fit and its unlike the chairs at other locations. I ordered six donuts , sadly, the very first one and the second one that I ate out of that grouping, I could tell have been sitting out for a while. I don't know if they had been made that day or potentially the day before, but the donuts themselves were hard and not the smooth texture that they're supposed to be. Were they inedible? No but I was disappointed because I was excited to share this with a friend and found that this was a letdown. I just had a mochinut this morning from a different flavor, but the same place and I could tell that that one was much fresher. I would strongly suggest there be a timer or there be a limitation to how many or which kinds of donuts are left out. Or you could take a leaf from some of the other mochi nuts and have a few that are on display for the different flavors that you offer and then make each of the Mochinuts, fresh to order. I recognized that may be more complicated, leaving fryers on and things like that but if you have a good product, that's not gonna matter long-term because your sales will offset that and have a consistent basis for what your food and products are supposed to taste like will make a difference. I also found it really interesting that you had different flavors for your Boba teas. I asked specifically if you had Ube and the girl at the register had no idea what I was talking about which is fine. But upon looking at the menu of a further after sitting down, you do list, purple, sweet potato as a flavor. And while there are some nuance differences between purple, sweet potatoes and Ube because technically Ube is a yam and not a sweet potato. Most people don't look at that nuance and believe that they are the same. So I will have to try that the next time I'm in although I don't know when that will be because I don't wanna have to drive out to Beach Boulevard to go to kung fu tea every time I want a Boba. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but again the issue with the chairs and people with hips. I give this place a three out of five for now. We'll see if a new visit gets me a different opinion.

I love that there's an option for ordering at the kiosk located inside the store where you can browse everything they offer, make your selections and pay right there. There are a few tables where you can wait for your order and eat in if you're so inclined. I took my Mochinuts to go and enjoyed the Ube flavor and the Nutella flavors the best. The texture is chewier than a conventional donut and I really enjoyed the entire experience overall. I look forward to trying other menu items next time especially the more savory offerings I saw others eating.

You can order at the kiosk or the counter, and we chose the counter. We both ordered the Supreme Poke Bowl and added a side of shrimp sauce. I'm glad we got the shrimp sauce on the side because it was heavy on mayo and not to my taste. The poke bowl was okay overall. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the crab and shrimp were flavorful. The cucumbers were fresh, and the bowl had a decent balance of ingredients. However, there was very little eel sauce, so if you like extra flavor, I'd recommend asking for more. The biggest disappointment was the spicy tuna--it tasted off and was not enjoyable. The ambiance of the interior was inviting, and the staff member we interacted with was friendly. That said, the food didn't leave much of an impression, and with so many other great poke places out there, I probably wouldn't return.
