Had my 1st head spa experience and it was amazing! I felt so relaxed with the hair wash, neck/shoulder massage, and facial that I ended up falling alseep! Lol! My scalp and hair felt so clean and soft afterwards. The new TT Head Spa located in Long Beach which use to be the Underground salon. The new head spa salon is really nice, clean, and spacious! And there's plenty of parking. The staff were all friendly and they offered refreshments and candies. They explained the whole process to me, while doing a scalp analysis to let me know what hair products they would use on me. Everything was great and I definitely would come back! She offers a warm welcome and you're just off to a good start from the beginning. Everything is so clean. They offer beverages and snacks. The service itself is so informative and relaxing. I fell asleep during my wash, it is so soothing! I was shown my scalp before and after. My scalp was so clean and moisturized. Once you're finished, they blow dry and style your hair. - Made an appointment but had to wait 25 min for a basic wash bowl to become available. At they point they should have upgraded me to "better" bowl. - Never received the scalp analysis that was included in my Essentials package. Never got asked about my hair at all she just started washing. Not to mention she was talking to a coworker a lot so it was difficult to relax. - I asked the front desk person what was the scalp oxygenation possible upgrade.. she had no clue and said she would ask one of the girls in the back... never got an answer. - Now to The blow dry: No heat protection spray or anything else was offered. - Never asked how i wanted my hair style. She blow dried 70% and was finished! I was so confused. I came in to get my hair blow dried completely. I asked and there was a language barrier. Another girl explained that they only dry up to 90% or something like that. That defeats the purpose to me. I asked for her to use a round brush to blow dry a bit more because my hair gets frizzy. I'm just glad I live close and was not planning on going anywhere else after because that would be a hair horrendous. - free snacks and tea is nice but at least clean up after the clients. There was used tea cups and trash at the coffee table the whole time I was there. So yes I am bummed about my experience here when I was so excited that it had opened near my home. I know it's new so hopefully they get it together. read more

Didn't enjoy my experience i scheduled a couples spa day however when we went for our appointment we were separated until completely separated areas. When I asked they said we could not be in the same area. Instead I was next to someone who didn't stop talking the whole time I was there not a moment of silence. Also the person who was preforming the massage did nothing for about 20 minutes while she just let the water run. I been to other places where it's none stop massaging/and head treatments not here. Went this afternoon for a Deluxe Head spa treatment ($158), I loved the scrub and treatment session it was really fantastic and extremely relaxing. My main issue with my visit was that the woman who was giving me the service was very obviously new/her first day. She was not confident with the tools they used during the consultation, and had to be instructed by a different employee to even use a hair clip to move some of my hair out of the way. After the shampoo/treatment the blow dry was mildly infuriating, I had to instruct her on how to section hair using clips and how to blow dry my hair, she never even picked up a hairbrush. I left looking with my hair a bit of a mess, if you've been to a salon you know that the blow dry is one of the most important steps and if done incorrectly the ends of your hair can look frizzy and damaged. Which is how I ended up leaving. The salon is beautiful and they have all the top of the line tools, but in the hands of an untrained employee those tools do absolutely nothing. I'm not blaming the employee for this, this is 100% the employers/managers fault, if you're going to let guests be worked on by an employee who is in training, offer a discount or inform the customer of the situation. I've been to a handful of head spas in LA/Westminster that were a quarter of the price that I actually felt confident/satisfied leaving. This was unfortunately not it, I had to go home and re wet my hair and give myself a blowout. For the price, not a single customer should be having to do that. Please train your staff properly before allowing them to take clients. read more

The first time I had Sabrina and she was amazing, I came with my friend it was a 10/10 experience... 2nd time here and it was so bad, i'm not sure what my technicians name is but she was not welcoming and it was not relaxing for me.
