First time at this restaurant where I came as part of a financial presentation that included a…read moredinner. I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency. Overall a great classy restaurant with a nice Happy Hour makes this a destination restaurant worth the trip if you live outside this area. For discerning customers who prize Quality in what they eat and drink this is a business not to be missed!

We opted to share a salad and sandwich and it was more than enough for two people! Our severs were attentive and checked in on us consistently. The salad was flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The cod sandwich, chefs kiss! It was so good. It's an highly elevated Filet of Fish. So skip McDoanlds and go here! You won't be disappointed. I'll be back to try something else!

Only our second or third venture into this wonderful eatery. We've been eating at other RO…read morelocations in the area over the years and it's always been solid. I'm guessing the building is relatively new. Very clean and presentable. One reason it's packed at meal time. The parking lot is a bit small for the businesses that reside here. Which is the only other dinner challenge. The waitstaff is tremendous. From late teens to older servers, a great experience is guaranteed. The menu items are all tasty. The vegetable soup is a must try. Big hunks of potato, carrot, etc. Mrs. E recommends the Spanakopita and rice w/ red sauce. 01/26

I was glad to see a new casual sit-down restaurant come to the area; I like Leo's, but I'm tiring…read moreof it. I finally went to Red Olive today. The restaurant is a brand-new construction, in the space where an Italian restaurant had stood. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Both the host and the server were just constantly smiling, and it felt genuine. The vibe they gave off was that they were truly happy to be there I knew what I was in the mood for, so I was happy to see it on the menu: a gyro sandwich and Greek salad combination. I thought it would be a small salad, like Olga's does, but no, it was full-size. And the gyro was stuffed with meat. After finishing the salad, I could only eat about half of the sandwich, so I took the rest home. The server (I didn't get her name) asked if I wanted a refill on my iced tea -- and then, she asked if I wanted it to go, which was perfect. And she saw the coupon I had with me & she automatically took off the 15% from my bill. I don't think many people know this restaurant is here or open, though; I was there around 2:00 on a Thursday, and there were only other tables occupied, and they were finishing up, leaving me alone for a little while. A small group did come in as I was leaving, and I did see a couple people pick up carry-out orders. I will definitely be coming back here; I am in this area a lot. I look forward to trying some of their other selections.

I was super excited to see this opening up closer to me, I love the Telegraph location and I've…read morebeen to the Royal Oak location before as well. I always get the sandwich with tandoori chicken, tandoori sauce, garlic, pickles, and a bunch of veggies. Today, I also got tabouli, and I tried the pickled beets, which were excellent. My husband and I got takeout, but it looked like there was a nice seating area as well. The only con for me for this franchise is the price - it's a bit pricey, but the sandwiches are huge, so you could make two meals out of it if you weren't super hungry. The sandwiches are about $13 each, and if you get a protein like lamb there's an upcharge. I believe the bowls are about $15 each. Make sure to ask for some samoon chips with your order, too! These are like bagel chips with za'atar spice and I've never seen them anywhere else. It was about $29 for two sandwiches for us - like I said, pretty pricey but portions are gigantic.

The meat was very dry and I mean very dry. Chicken thighs aren't usually dry, but these ones were. The rice wasn't bad but not my favorite. I did like that you could get a grape leaf for a topping. But you're limited on toppings to 2 of each section which I didn't like. I did get free bread and that was actually really good. It came out fresh. Service was nice and you can try sauces and such. That's a plus, but the food was just not a wow factor for me.
