From the moment we arrived, the experience felt underwhelming. We stopped at the bar before dinner and were not greeted with the warmth or hospitality we would have expected. During our meal, I also never saw a manager checking in with guests or anyone making an effort to ensure that diners were enjoying their experience. The most troubling part of the evening, however, was my Shrimp Salad. While the four prawns were beautiful in size, they had not been properly shelled or deveined. When I took my first bite, I discovered that the shrimp still contained the digestive tract and a piece of shell. I actually had to remove it from my mouth at the table. The experience was extremely unpleasant. There was a noticeable grit and taste that completely ruined the dish for me and the lettuce had not been cut up at all, I had to clean the shrimp with my hands at the table before I could eat my dinner. In all my years of dining at fine restaurants, I have never been served large prawns that had not been properly cleaned and deveined. This is especially surprising in an establishment where I would expect a much higher level of attention to food preparation and presentation. What was intended to be a special birthday celebration unfortunately became an evening marked by disappointment. I felt it was important to bring this to your attention, both because of the food preparation issue and because the overall lack of attentiveness made the experience feel as though our presence was not particularly valued. I would appreciate hearing from you regarding this experience. Extremely disappointing food, no one should have to clean their food before they can eat it.

Tucci is such a fun spot with a lively, energetic atmosphere that's perfect for families, groups, or a summer night out. The outdoor seating area is especially charming, with a nice green space that creates a relaxed and inviting setting. Inside, the open kitchen concept adds to the excitement and gives the restaurant a vibrant feel. One of the highlights of our visit was the host team. The host at the front was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and funny, and even took the time to stop by our table to check in. That extra touch of hospitality really stood out. The menu is extensive with a great variety of options, making it easy for everyone to find something they'll enjoy. The restaurant was very busy during our visit, which speaks to its popularity and overall appeal. The only downside was that a few important meal modifications were missed. We had three requests related to sides and ingredients that didn't make it to the final dishes. While it wasn't enough to ruin the experience, attention to those details would have elevated the service. We were also a little surprised that there wasn't any birthday acknowledgment or celebration, as we've seen the restaurant do for other special occasions in the past. Overall, despite a few service hiccups, we had a great time. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and family-friendly vibe make Tucci a place we'd happily visit again. read more

This was alright, but unfortunately nothing that grabbed us. Service was great and the wine selection was very well crafted. I was in good company and our evening was very enjoyable, but if I am to give an honest review there were points for improvement. Certain things seemed to take longer than I would expect.
