Our Server Kerri was wonderful and the entire staff was warm and friendly. Kerri answered all of our questions, and staff circulated and checked on everyone in what was a warm and fun atmosphere for a first time diner. Our drinks and water were refreshed without asking, which is great! The Dining Room was clean and the Ladies Powder Room was well stocked. Our salad greens were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was cold and freshly made. We started with the Crab Imperial Onion Rings (which were crispy inside and topped with creamy and hot Crab Imperial, then split The crab cakes which were perfectly done. There's a nominal fee (less than $8) to split the meal, but totally worth it because each diner receives a crab cake (which is rather large and made with real crab meat) along with an ample serving of the two sides that come with the meal. (We chose the mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes which were cooked perfectly. The veggies were crisp but not hard and the potatoes were soft but not mushy.) Overall, 10 out of 10! A group of us went there last night, we had a reservation, there was a mix up with the count, it was a reservation for 9 they set the table for 8 then made a big to do about 1 seat. They split our party, totally unexceptionable, there was NO reason why they couldn't accommodate 1 more seat. The host was very rude to us, I don't know if he's the owner or not, but he needs to work on his people skills. That being said, the food?..cold, hard brussel sprouts, the menu said red bliss potatoes, they gave us au gratin potatoes, no explanation, when I told the waitress I couldn't eat them because of the cheese she said that's all they had. Cute place. Nicely decorated for Christmas. We couldn't get the full experience because it was winter time and dark so some other time we will go back and see the view and the outdoor areas. I thought the food was good. It was decent. I had the fillet with crab meat and shrimp. I especially liked that I noticed that they had an outdoor cat house, taking care of the stray cats in the winter is something I do at my home in Pennsylvania so they get extra points for that. read more

My told me about a special the Tuckahoe was running. $25 from 12-4pm daily. Special menu but a lot of things on there (see my pic). My wife love prime rib and that was on the menu so off we went. Special includes soup or salad, entree and dessert (several choices). I opted for a cheesesteak off the regular menu as I sort of remembered it was very good. Well my memory was correct. Cheesesteak was excellent! High quality meat on a fresh delicious roll and just the right amount of cheese. Fries were excellent as well. My wife enjoyed her prime rib and was served perfect medium rare as she requested. We both enjoyed the bread pudding dessert which was enough for two. It tasted like a warm, moist cinnamon bun and covered in a warm vanilla syrup-YUM! I will order this any time. $43 not including tip and a perfect view of the bay read more

The food wasn't very good. My chicken parm looked like something they unboxed and put on the plate. It was dry and rubbery. The pasta wasn't seasoned. My wife's prime rib was over cooked, and over seasoned (way too salty). I do not recommend. We won't be going back. read more

No apps for us tonight. Dinner salads are included. Pretty much bagged greens mix. Definitely not a fresh made/chopped dinner salad. Entrees came with new potatoes and green beans. My friend loved his filet mignon. The red snapper was enjoyed as well. I tried the flounder stuffed with crab imperial. The crab was tasty but the flounder overcooked and very bland. Had a really nice night out for dinner on the water. It's a limited menu outside but the atmosphere is worth it. I had the crab cake sandwich with the corn salad and my partner had the French dip with fries. The crab cake sandwich was good, I wasn't crazy about the corn salad. Visited on a recommendation. Happy hour was happening inside at the bar from 3-5pm. It was pretty busy, but we were able to get a high top table to have some happy hour drinks and appetizers. I had the Tuckahoe Tomahawk drink and bruschetta. My only negative comment on the inside was that it smelled pretty weird, and not in a good way ha. We also decided to check out the outdoor dining which is a different menu than inside and does not offer happy hour. They did have crossover on some menu items though. I was so excited to revisit the Tuckahoe Inn for dinner during our vacation and sadly, it was totally disappointing. I ordered the Broiled Seafood Platter consisting of shrimp, scallops, lobster, and crab stuffed flounder. The lobster came out like rubber, the scallops were tasteless minus the paprika seasoning and the crab stuffed flounder was mush. I also ordered a glass of their recommended red wine and it tasted like water. our server Emily was a gem however, and exchanged the wine for a beer and removed the platter from our bill after i showed her the consistency of the lobster. Came here for Saturday night dinner and made sure to make a reservations in you plan on coming during the weekend. We had a reservation and came half hour early and were seated promptly. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Try the calamari and try the filet. Both came out excellent and cooked to perfection. Definitely try the triple chocolate cheesecake for dessert. I visited Tuckahoe Inn last night for a friend's birthday dinner and we had a good time. Our server Katie was great and was very kind. There are many options on the menu and their specials were also interesting. The restaurant is pretty big and has a nice view of the bay. There was also live music being played in another room and I enjoyed that too! We ordered the Crab Onion Rings & Calamari as our appetizers and both were pretty average. I liked the Crab Onion Rings more than the calamari but I do wish the crab was somehow separate from the onion rings because I wanted the onion rings to be crispier. The calamari was also just okay. I really liked the sauces drizzled on top but the calamari was a bit chewy. I ordered the Chicken Parm as my entree which I enjoyed, but I'm not a fan of angel hair pasta, so the chicken was delicious and the pasta was okay. My friends both got the cheeseburger on the specials menu and that came on a pretzel bun. We all had a great time and had great service, but the food was fairly average. I'd still go again though so you will probably have a good time too! read more

What a great way to spend a quiet, relaxed afternoon. We went to the Tuckahoe Inn for a late lunch/early dinner. We were meeting some others so sat outside by the bay. Sunny day...warm weather...quiet, peaceful. When the others showed up, I was ready to stay outside and enjoy the peace (take a nap), but they talked me into going in to eat (another of my favorite pastimes). And I sm glad they did. We were still in time for the afternoon specials - and special they were. I ordered the queen cut prime rib -believe me, it was plenty for me. The salad was fresh and delicious. Dessert was a disappointment - I didn't have room and had it to go. Ice cream does not travel that well. One other had the broiled flounder and said it was very fresh and flavorable. Another had the chicken parm....she devoured it! Food great...ambience great...time was great. Looking forward to the next visit. read more

Well I havnt been here for years and went for a family dinner of 20. I was quickly reminded why I stopped going. All the drinks came out and most were not made well. A lot of us ordered the lobster bisque. We all agreed it was trash. Ive had better at diners. The calamari was just weird with all kinds of extra ingredients. Most who tried it didnt like it and said with all the crap on it it was still somehow bland Many ordered crabcakes. All filler and not good for over $30. I tried it. Trash. Like slightly crabby mush. My wife got filet. Wanted it medium...it was well done. Like 6 of us got NYS steaks and had to put salt and pepper on it and still was not flavorful. Didnt help most were overcooked. Mine tasted like a dirty grill. Sides were barely catering quality. The prices they charge for this subpar food is ridiculous. The waiter was passing drinks over us. I had water spilled on me twice and soda once. WTF. Others said he dripped water all over them as well. He was good otherwise just needs to be more careful. The ambiance is fine...same as always. I liked the clams casino. It was also hot as heck inside and outside smelled like an outhouse. I could go on but I'll leave this one for the tourist. read more

Shrimp cocktail was mushy, filet mignon was very tough even though only cooked medium. Desserts were okay. $235 pre tip and nah I would never come back. Ambiance is awful. We were a party of six looking for a nice place for dinner while on vacation. They took reservations, which we were happy about. We were on time for the reservation however the informed us that there would be a wait because " I can't kick people out of their table." restaurant was pretty, rustic and I liked the indoor outdoor option we chose indoor. We waited and extra 15 min past our reservation time. Ordered drinks and calamari as a starter, no problem! Dinner was ordered and took over a hour to be brought to the table. 3 steaks were ordered all over cooked. The prices are $$$ so the chef should know how to cook steak and not to let it sit. I liked the atmosphere and the view. We went for a late lunch around 2:30 pm Saturday 1.14.23. Service was more than satisfactory. We had two J. Lohr Cabs, 1 Riesling, Burrata app, Buffalo Shrimp, Crab Cake Entree, and Filet with Shrimp and Crab Imperial. $140 total without tip. The good- Crab Cakes were low filler and quality lump crab. I liked the vegetables on the side. They were fresh and cooked al dente. All the food lacked seasoning in a big way. I was underwhelmed overall. My dining partner said the filet meal tasted like nothing. That is sad considering it was topped with crab imperial and had shrimp on the side. The place was pretty busy for an afternoon in the Winter on a biting weather day! I did notice most of the patrons were way older than us. I am 50! Perhaps that is where the mild seasoning decisions originate. This is a bit of a drive for us so we probably won't be returning anytime soon. read more

Visit Day/Time: 8 pm on a Saturday. Nov. 11, 2023 Wait for table time: 5 mins. with reservations. Ambience: An old, large Jersey Shore dining institution. A local mainstay, but Just an old clunker that really needs updating! It appears to have a very large full-service bar that is crowded. Local entertainment(?) provided. Menu Selections: Provides a limited selection for all, but a typical Jersey diner would have a better selection. Obviously, the people of Marmora/Beasley Point just don't know that there are better places to go to for Dinner. Prices: $ 25 to 35 average per person, no drinks. Food ordered and served: Crab Cakes diner and Roast Turkey diner. Crab cakes were rather good. Hard, tasteless green beans Turkey appeared rather brownish and had an off-taste, mashed potatoes were the powered type and watery. Green beans were somewhat hard/tasteless and the stuffing was tasteless. The best item on the plate was the canned/jelled cranberry sauce. Service: Slow, lacked attentiveness. Best bets: None that was observable. Issues: This place is far outdated, needs interior and MENU updating. Avoids: Everything. Would we go back?
