Ya I heard good thing about Tucker until I went there and I got screwed over by one of his employees. These guys are a bunch of scam artists crooks and that goes for Troy at Tucker tires too. I took my Chevy truck to Tucker for 4 new tires Troy who works in the front told me that it will take an hour. So I said fine I will walk to Costco and I'll be back in an hour. I came back and I didnt see my truck and I asked Troy where was it and he told me I just took it for an alignment. I told him why, who told you I needed an alignment and he said I thought you needed it so I took it there. I told him my truck was fine and I didnt need an alignment. He replied "Well I just took it to SUSPENSION PLUS" and he pointed at the shop. He said " I just took it there so Im sure they havent started the work yet" I walked over to SUSPENSION PLUS and I spoke to this old guy name Ron. I asked him where is my truck and he said "Oh our tech just went on a test drive with it" I told him why did he go on a test drive" He replied "Because we just did an alignment and we always do a test drive when we align cars" I was PISSED and told him "How can you do an alignement on my truck if A. I never gave you authorization and B. Troy just said he brought my truck over a few minutes ago". He replied back "Well we just finished" and you can see that HE WAS LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH. Again I told him that I never gave anybody permision to do an alignment and Im not paying for it. So he replied back "Well somebody has to pay for it" "The work is already done and were not realeasing the vehicle".So I went back to Tucker tire and again they were busy and so I had to wait. Meanwhile as Im waiting I hear the same guy (Troy) telling another lady that her car needed an alignment and she needs to take her car next door to suspension plus and so she did. As Im waiting the guy next to me asked me "so whats wrong, you seem mad" I explained what had taken place and he said "How funny, he (Troy) actually told me the samething and that my car needed an alignment too and my car only has 25k miles" I guess everyone that comes in here needs an alignment". I then realized that this guy Troy had something going on with these guys next door that he kept sending everybody there. When Troy finished I told him that Im not paying for anything since I didnt authorize the work and he needs to go and get my car or else. Troy tried to reason with me and then it turned into an argument with me until I told him that I would file a complaint with BBB and BAR for fraud and you need to get me an invoice incase they screwed my truck up. He then went to SUSPENSION PLUS and got my car with an invoice and its said paid 65.00 for 4 wheel alignment since I wanted an invoice for the work incase something was done on my car and it was done incorrectly. In fact on my invoice it stated that I needed tie rads and bushings. Keep in mind my truck is a 2005 with only 29,785 miles. I left and and the following week I took my truck to Allen Cadillac/GMC on camino capistrano for an oil change and I asked the service writer to check my bushing and tie rads and let me know if they are bad since I was told by SUSPENSION PLUS that I needed them replaced when they did a 4 wheel aligement. SO the service writer laughed and told me " IS THAT WHAT THEY TOLD YOU?" I asked him whats so funny and he replied back. " You cant do a 4 wheel alignment since your car has a straight axle and there is no adjustments in the rear" He calls me back and says that they never did ANY alignment on my truck since the nuts on tie rads for the adjusters dont even have any marks or scratches on them and they still have the under coating that comes on them from the factory and he also told me that my your tie rads and bushings are just fine. I wanted to go back to these liers and give them a piece of my mind but since I didnt pay for the alignment then I had nothing to complain about so I just wanted to warn everybody about these guys and share my awful experience about these liers and scam artists. Troy from Tucker tire is a dam lier and its very obvious he has a stake in all of this or he has something going on with these guys over at SUSPENSION PLUS. Ron from Suspension Plus is a SCAM ARTIST AND A LIER. Its written all over his face. These guys frankly don't need much of a referral the massive line out the door speaks for itself....daily. Sure you will find some horribly self absorbed people who will not like this place because frankly they will not be pampered, waited on by some smiling fake idiot who runs out to your car. Hey if they need to be coddled by a tire shop they are welcome elsewhere. As for my experience. I was short on money and tire replacement came at a horrible time as it does for many. I priced the right tires for my car at multiple places. Historically I was a discount tire customer for multiple sets. I called them and found out it would be $575 for a set of 4 tires that were what I needed (and that was the best I found at 5 places including costco). Thing is I don't drive a fancy car, I drive probably one of the most common cars on the road.... so you would think the tires would be cheaper. So I headed over to Tucker Tire on multiple friend recommendations, and was met with a line out the door. I almost left as I just wasn't feeling good that day and had left work. In line I asked another person "Is this really worth it" and was reassured heartily. SO I get up to the guy (one of the Tucker family members) and he went out to my car, figured out just what I needed and quoted me $333 out the door!!!!!!! A savings of 242 dollars was just astronomical that I probably just sat dumbfounded for a good ten seconds toting an awkward smile. I asked the wait time, and he said it would be an hour or so. So I took my car next door, got an oil change and came back and sure enough it was my turn next... 15 minutes later I was cruisin off to fill my tank and wash my car. Funny how when I was all said and done I still made it out ahead. Do not bother trying to call this place though. The phone rings constantly... literally it is never quiet in this place. They would need an operator staff of like 20 to keep up... so thats why they just let it ring. Moral of the story (sorry for it being so long). If you appreciate not being raped handily by a tire shop, and even appreciate a family business where the family actually works. GO HERE EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU NEED A TIRE. read more

I was in a bit of a bind with a nail in my tire and no appointment, but they went above and beyond to help me out. Prompt and Professional Service: Even though I didn't have an appointment, technician Christian took my car in right away. He estimated a 30-minute wait, but to my surprise, my car was ready in just 15 minutes! Throughout the process, Christian was professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Honest and Efficient The nail had indeed penetrated the tire, but thankfully, he was able to remove it and patch the hole. When I braced myself for the bill, I was surprised again by saying there was no charge! They patched the tire, reset my low tire pressure alarm, and got me back on the road quickly and safely, all free of charge. Highly Recommend Tucker Tire: The crew at Tucker Tire is fantastic. They were professional, honest, and incredibly efficient. Their willingness to help a stranded driver without an appointment is a testament to their exceptional customer service. I'm giving Tucker 5 stars because I had been using them since the early 80's In recent years it's become too much of a mad house , time is more important to me than anything anymore. I don't have all day to screw around sitting at Tuckers over a set of tires or anything else for that matter. The place had more personality when John was there, and things got done differently. Now it's become a cluster fuck! As far as flat repairs go, I found myself to the shop up Cabot because I wanted it done correctly, than means patched, not plugged. Since then I've discovered that Tucker isn't the only game in town. Tuckers people theory is plug for free, maybe collect a tip, get the car back on the road faster. Truth is that plugs always leak, I'd rather just do it right the first time. It's no longer 1982, I need a full service shop that can handle more than just tires. I mean oil, brakes, alignment, check engine lights, factory scheduled maintenance, and so on. From what I can see, Tuckers gone to hell in a hand basket because the son never earned it, it was simply handed to him. read more

I knew I needed to get a new set of rear tires. I had been putting it off for longer than usual until my low tire pressure warning light came on. I noticed a small nail in my rear tire and called up Tucker Tire. I figured I would have them take the nail out and order up some new rear tires for me. I got down to the shop and they pulled the rear tires off - turns out the nail was the LEAST of my problems. There was about a 3" long section of my rear tire that had been worn through that had started to leak air. The guys at Tucker Tire knew it was not safe to drive on and they offered to set me up with a loaner tire until my tires came in. While searching for a loaner tire, the guys at the shop happened to find a set of tires that were the perfect size. They offered to sell me those tires at an incredible price and had them installed in minutes. I cant say enough about how awesome this place is. I recently visited Tucker Tire because my tire pressure light was on but I couldn't figure out why the light was on. I had just checked the tires and added some air and they all seemed to be the same weight of air. I even know how to reset the TPMS sensors on the tires which I did. But the light continues to intermittently come on. So I stopped by Tucker Tire on a busy weekday right around noon, there was a waiting room full of people and I was the 3rd person in line. Johnny called me over and I explained the issue. He said let's go take a look at your tires and he pulled my car over to the garage and quickly checked them all. One of them was reading at about 38 when my car only should be at 34. He quickly aligned the weight of them and reset my tire pressure sensors. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing, and wished me a great day. The Value of service that I receive, every time that I go into that place never ceases to amaze me. Today, my car's tire got flat. I brought it to Tucker Tire Laguna Niguel in Aliso Viejo to fix it because that place is very close my company. One guy in there helped me very good ( Sorry I forgot to ask his name) . After asking me about problem of my car, he said let him check it and I just take a seat for waiting. After, 15 or 20 minutes, he came back I told me my car is done and it had one nail inside. I asked him how much I need to pay, but he said it is free for me I don't need to pay anything. I was so surprised but I still want to pay for someone who fixed my car. He just smiled and said : "No, you don't need to". I am so happy and would like to introduce this auto body shop of Tucker tire to everyone about excellent services. I had a great experience at Tucker Tires! I stopped by because I had a nail in one of my tires and thought I might need a repair or even a replacement. They checked everything thoroughly, removed the nail, confirmed my tire was perfectly fine, and even reset my tire pressure warning light before I left. Tucker is my go to tire store and repair shop. They have the best prices, widest selection of tires, and friendly and accommodating service people - they are a no-nonsense shop and straight up tell you how it is to get you in and out quickly, but satisfied. Small example, i had a nail in my tire. Took it there on a weekday during lunch hour. Before i could finish eating next door (Toni Pepperoni's - great pizza, sandwiches and salad!), he went out of his way to bring me my car and keys and with a smile said it was all done and there was "no charge". This is the second time that I had a nail in my run-flats. Decided to go first to the dealer who told me I needed a new tire and I couldn't fix run-flats. I returned to Tucker Tires because if I needed new tires, that would be the place to buy them. Person in front office took care of me; drove my car to the back to check it and in no more than 15 minutes they fixed the tire AND DID NOT CHARGE A DIME!!! And they did it with a smile. Awesome.....these guys ROCK I got a flat tire and was told to go to Tucker Tire because they could fix the tire instead of replacing it. I just purchased new tires about two months ago, so I was not a happy camper at the nail that found it's way to it! I arrived at their store at 7am and it was packed already. I was told to go around back and sit tight. 45 mins later I was on my way NO CHARGE!...the fixed my flat for free...Unreal service guys.......Now after being there and reading the rest of the reviews here, I will NEVER go anywhere else for tires.
